I spent $400 just on shaved ice when I went to Hawaii. Shaved ice is an art, a science, and a drug all wrapped into one. It requires the perfect communion of soft, fluffy ice, and tasty syrup added in the precisely correct proportion. Get it wrong and you've got a crunchy, syrupy abomination that makes you want to punch a baby kitten in the face. But get it right, and you are transported from a world of chaos and despair, to an ethereal plain of paradise and fluffy cloud candy. Bahama Buck's nails it. Every. Dang. Time. It's every bit as good as the Hawaiian shaved ice I gorged on, but for a fraction of the price. And you don't have to get on a plane, which is such a miserable experience nowadays that even a shaved ice couldn't save it. The staff is friendly and efficient, the prices are very reasonable and the shaved ice is delicious. Seriously, why aren't you here already? What more do you want than that? And stop trying to pretend you don't love shaved ice because you're an adult. We already talked about that.
