If you're looking for high quality furniture that will last a lifetime, Sedlak's is a one stop…read moreshop! I had been looking for a television stand for a newly purchased 75 inch Samsung and was conflicted about where to buy one. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

I've been a longtime customer of this company and a frequent visitor to the Chardon store; however,…read morewhat I've seen recently has caused me such dismay that not only am I no longer purchasing my housewares at this store, but none of my family and several of my friends no longer do either. The store management is essentially indifferent to its floor associates, paying them as little as $8/hr and scheduling them for irregular or on-call shifts based on need - even though I just came back from the store and saw only TWO cashiers for the entire checkout line network. The lines themselves were very long - people were leaving to go to Walmart or Target - so clearly whoever manages scheduling did not do their job. This is the fourth or fifth time I've seen this type of understaffing and, frankly, I've had it enough of it. There was one time the entire POS system was offline and instead of taking matters into his own hands, the store manager Steve simply left it to the most recently-hired part-time associates to fix the problem. It was appalling. If you care about the store's staff and wish to send a message to its lethargic and callous managers, shop somewhere else. Nothing you find there is exclusive to Big Lots and in fact their prices aren't especially competitive compared with the other chain stores.

There is SO much to look at - I could spend hours in here. There is a full main floor, upstairs & basement! Actually, I spent at least an hour in here. Definitely a must visit place!

But seriously, just when I thought that we had reached the end of a floor, there was another turn with another room. Now, this is not a complaint, it means more selection. It just shocked the hell outta me! I love the front of this store. It is absolutely small town and ever so quaint. The awnings and the picture windows made me smile. Once you enter, you are bombarded with stuff. This is one of the reasons that I gave this only 3 stars. There is stuff EVERYWHERE and nothing really seems to be organized. Spoons, clothes and license plates....all in the same section. With the size of this store, I would have loved for everything to have a spot. This would make it much easier to gloss over the items that you have no interest in. Say, like dolls with creepy eyes. I can still see those eyes....my dreams are about those eyes. Or, the millions of pieces of silverware in every inch of the store. I could have bought a spoon for every day of the rest of my life! I fell in love with the upstairs of this place. Old military gear, medical supples, lighting, furniture and jewelry. It had high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The basement felt very claustrophobic. Tiny hallways piled high with unique items and tiny little rooms all over. All of the staff here were at the front desk. I had a few questions but there was no one to be found. And they were all helping check people out...which is nice for the speed of checkout, but not so nice for those wanting to buy items to checkout. Overall, this place was cute and full of items. So much so, that it made it overwhelming and slightly turned me off.

After seeing Arslanian Brothers' commercials for years, I finally decided to give them a call to learn more about their services. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan. I will absolutely use Arslanian Brothers again!
