I had been looking for a television stand for a newly purchased 75 inch Samsung and was conflicted about where to buy one. After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

The store management is essentially indifferent to its floor associates, paying them as little as $8/hr and scheduling them for irregular or on-call shifts based on need - even though I just came back from the store and saw only TWO cashiers for the entire checkout line network. The lines themselves were very long - people were leaving to go to Walmart or Target - so clearly whoever manages scheduling did not do their job. This is the fourth or fifth time I've seen this type of understaffing and, frankly, I've had it enough of it. There was one time the entire POS system was offline and instead of taking matters into his own hands, the store manager Steve simply left it to the most recently-hired part-time associates to fix the problem. It was appalling. If you care about the store's staff and wish to send a message to its lethargic and callous managers, shop somewhere else. Nothing you find there is exclusive to Big Lots and in fact their prices aren't especially competitive compared with the other chain stores.

I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan.
