We left with a mid-18th century dresser, a beautiful desk, 2 large ornate wall mirrors, and two sets of leather/wood theater seats (circa 1909). We definitely won by finding this place!

I walked into the store at 1:25 pm on 12/05/2024. The manager working (whose name I don't know) had…read moreme waiting 5 minutes at the checkout for a woman who was waiting for her mother, who was in a different location of the store, to come pay. While I was in line, I silently mouthed to her that I was on my lunch hour. I didn't want to be rude to the woman who was holding up the line. I live very close to this store and am a very good customer. I am always very polite to everyone who works there. That's just how I was raised. So, I finally got my turn in line. I had 4 small items that I gave to her and told her I needed just 20 seconds to grab one other item. At that time no one was behind me. I ran to the back of the store grabbed some paper plates and ran back up to the register to complete my purchase. I was gone no longer than 10 seconds, as I was running back and forth. To my surprise the manager couldn't wait 10 seconds for Me and put someone else's items in front of mine. I said to her, you couldn't wait 10 seconds for me? She said, I did wait. This obviously upset me, due to her lack of consideration. The reason is, that she had no problem making me wait 5 minutes waiting for a customer to finally come to the front of the store, to pay for her items. I want to restate that I ran to the back of the store quickly and then ran back up to the front. This same manager is often less than friendly towards me even though I've always been friendly and courteous towards her. I'm not sure what her issue is with me, but the fact that she couldn't allow me 10 seconds to grab another item is indicative of the way she treats me whenever I go there and she's working the line. I am at a loss as to why she wouldn't give me the consideration of 10 seconds when she had already made me wait 5 minutes for someone else. I know the old manager Nate and he and I had a great store/customer relationship. I get along with everyone else who works at that store! I want someone to follow up with me as soon as possible. My cell phone number is (440) 231-8695 and my name is John E. Also, I asked her before leaving the store who the manager is, she smiled and said she was. Then asked her who her District Manager was? She said Chad Hall. When I asked her for his telephone number, she said she didn't know. That was obviously a lie.

They don't allow returns, which is their choice--but when I offered to sell it back at a discount (i.e. restocking fee) to them so they could resell it and double their profit, they refused.
