I have had my tesla hand washed here twice. Today was the second and last time i will take it back. The first time, the gentleman who dried my car had dirty shoes and left something slimy from his shoes on the inside of the panel where he stood to wipe the roof of my car. The second the time, I believe the guy who dried my car left his bottle of windex hanging along the door panel and now there is a huge indentation on the material, i hope its not permanent where and tear. If I could leave zero stars I would. I've been a loyal customer of vintage car wash for years. I always get the hand wash and make sure I take car if the employees. One Saturday I went and they were busy which is usual. I asked for the hand wash and they said it would be an hour wait. I said that's fine. The worker then recommended I run my car through the wash. I asked him if my car was okay to run it due to it being lowered. He said he would double check for me. I said if he sees it'll be an issue I'll gladly wait for the hand wash. I went inside and waited for him to come and give me the approval that my car is okay. 5 mins later he comes in and says my car is fine to run in the wash. I said perfect! I then payed for the service and waited for my car. Approximately 6 mins another employee informs me that something happened with my vehicle. He didn't tell me then and there and asked for me to follow him to my car. Upon arriving to my vehicle he showed me that my carbon fiber diffuser got caught in the Chain and completely yanked it off and broke one of the fins along with all the clips. I wasn't upset because it's a materialistic product. He kindly asked for my Info and assured me that the car wash had insurance for these incidents. I said perfect and went upon my day. I went back Monday to talk to the General Manger and right off the bar started making excuses to no cover my diffuser. He said it was "aftermarket" and directed me to the sign that's stated where no one can see it. We went back and forth about the matter and every time I would make a good point he would hit me with the "I'll see what the owner says". Few days went but heard nothing from him, until I decided to call. We spoke and told me that they weren't going to Cover it due to their aftermarket signs BS. I'm now $1,700.00 deep in my pocket due to lack of training and knowledge of their employees. Their employees ASSURED me that my car was okay to run in the wash and guaranteed it was okay. It's absolutely ridiculous that this happened. The offered me "a couple of free hand washes for our mistake". I will never be going here again and I hope the owner of this business sees this review. I reside in the bay, where the car washes are more expensive and the quality is not good. So whenever I'm out in Modesto, I get my car washed out here. Unfortunately, this time was more than just a bad experience. To be clear in the past, I've always had an excellent service with vintage. After receiving my car wash, I drove up the street parked reviewed my car closer and noticed that they really didn't do a good job at all. The chrome wasn't clean. The rims weren't clean. They didn't do the plastic on the side.. so I proceeded to go back. I was very kind and explained to them. I'm a very busy single mom of three. I'm a medical professional. I work hard and I would just like it to be done properly. If I have to pay more that's fine. Well, I went back in and paid an additional $11 for the plastic. I came back out when my car was finished drove to the Costco and while getting gas I noticed huge intentional scratches all over my hood. I know for a fact that was done because I just went over the car prior to bringing it back to them. I can't believe people do things like this all because I kindly ask them to clean it properly. I'm so sad that someone has some anger in their heart that they would do this. I did not deserve this. Of course there's no way to prove it and there's nothing I can do but everyone beware. went to get my car washed this past Saturday at 2:00pm. I left a gold bracelet in my car along with another valuable item. The gold bracelet was stolen and I noticed once I was leaving. I intended to take the item out but they already had took my car through. I was gaslighted by the stupid managers that no one has ever stole anything at their car wash. I will never be back here and I will make sure to have everyone I know do a review and give them a horrible ratings. Their customer service with handling the station was very poor. They only charge 20 bucks for un limited washes. vintage car wash chargers 70 and the employees basically just dry the car. First let me say that I will be filing a small claims against this place. Samir, the car wash manager needs to learn how to work with customers. In June (I have the receipt still), I visited this car wash and they damaged the inside panel of my car. While that was a bad experience it wasn't the worst, and it is not the reason I am writing. I am writing because Samir does not know how to work with customers. Mostly, he doesn't know how to listen to customers, which I believe, is going to cause him alot of issues. Samir is the site manager for this place. I informed Samir that the product that was used to clean the inside of my car, damaged the car, and I requested a refund. This man not only refused to grant me a refund, but insisted on scrubbing the inside panels, with the product, pushing his way through myself and my mother, to show me that his product, in his view, "didn't damage the panel". However, Samir quickly stopped when he realized that it was damaging the panel, and in a panic, immediately removed himself from the car and started to walk away. In a panic. I told Samir then, if he would grant me the refund since he damaged the car, personally. He not only denied the refund but tried to play the "hostile customer" game. So I called the police. Then Samir insisted to continue this charade and claim that I was a "hostile" customer. Knowing that he damaged my car, he kept up this charade. Samir, I just want to let you know, personally, that we will be talking soon. read more

I happened to need something from car while the guy was cleaning the inside. I saw him spray window cleaner on my leather seats to clean them. I stopped him and asked for manager. I was told they have always used window cleaner on the leather. WOW!!! My retailer said that is a big no no! And my car has not really been vacuumed out very well. I am not going back. read more

While I was waiting for my car to get done, I wanted to look up the list of services they offered to see what each service entails & WOW, I was not expecting all of these 1 star reviews. I am pretty surprised because the times I've been here, I can honestly say - nothing bad comes to mind. They're super friendly - from the people that greet you when you pull up, the baristas at the coffee bar, the cashiers & the employees outside working on your car. While you wait for your car to get done, you can grab some coffee at Giancomo or find some knick knacks in their cute little gift-shop (I restrained myself from buying another candle because I don't, I repeat, - I. DONT. NEED. ANOTHER. CANDLE.) Alright, I digress. Instead of waiting in the A/C like a sane person, I decided to torture myself in the lovely Modesto heat & wait under the tree outside. All the employees that walked by smiled & greeted me - again, super friendly! Once your car is done - they wave their towels in the air & hold the door open for you when you get to your car. As far as the quality, I've seen all the pictures that people have posted, complaining about missed spots but I can say, I didn't have that issue. My car looked great, inside and out. They either don't vacuum inside front & back well. The cleaning on dashboard and areas to be cleaned are not clean. Some parts are but I always fine an area where they didn't even cleaned. I pay a lot for it not to be cleaned right. I don't know why it's not cleaned right. They use to do a good job and I liked taking it there but lately every time I go it's not cleaned right. I've been a customer for years now since it's across the street from my parent's house and have always had really good service but yesterday it wasn't a good job at all. First off it wasn't very packed but even that it took about 10 min to get to my vehicle once washed. An older lady that looked disabled or maybe Judy elderly started the detail process and she really did her best but took forever. I did notice 2-3 guys on one car, again it was slow, but no-one ever went over to assist the lady doing mine. I noticed I guess he was a supervisor checking on the cars and he looked inside mine when making his rounds so I'm thinking he's making sure vehicles are being detailed accordingly. After an hour of detail alone, I tipped the lady $5 for her efforts because she really worked hard and did the best she could so when I got to my parents house to pick them up to go to a restaurant to meet up for a family dinner, my dad asked me didn't I just get my car washed? He pointed dirt on the floor boards, some dust on the dashboard and around the cupboard and didn't look like any Armor All was used anywhere. I should have done a thorough inspection before driving off, I should have asked the manager to get her some help because I could tell she was struggling, but I was too concerned about the time since I had plans. In any case, will I be back? Probably since the convenience of being so close to my parents but for $40, I'll make sure to do a thorough inspection before I tip and drive off. read more

I visited and sat for quite some time as it was a busy Saturday. I'm always pretty satisfied with the service at Vintage. Today I had the displeasure of watching the supervisor (average height, slender, pony tail, and goatee) be ever so rude to pretty much any employee that he walked by. Yelling about towels, yelling about moving cars, yelling at everyone to hustle, when they were clearly moving pretty quickly. Took car in to get washed and vacuumed. Paid 31.50 for full service. Got windows that were smeared like they cleaned the windows with a rag that had tire treatment or wax on it. The window was cleaner when I went in. The attendant kept cleaning the window even before I came to the car. He gave up and waved he was done. Went to the car and asked if he would redo the window. He acted pissed off and cleaned the window. He said not one word. I said thank you twice and he never acknowledged me. Acted like I put him out. I will not go back. Mister is so much better. I still had to clean the car inside, vacuum and wipe down everything and clean cup holders. Save your money. I'm sure there are better workers there but I'm not chancing it with trying to get one. Stopped by this morning, my car was particularly dirty! Driving back and forth on a ranch will do that but they did it again. Car looks pristine. There were some little red marks and black marks from buildup, all gone when I picked it up. Always impressed and everyone is so nice. Did the full service wash, Rigo did an excellent job. If you want a good car wash this is the place. They use premium soaps with RainX built in, they take care of your car from start to finish. Also while you wait they have a deli which makes great sandwiches, sandwich deal for $11 includes a sandwich, chips and a drink. Sandwiches are big, bread is fresh. I had our car washed this morning and frankly it was rather disappointing. The interior was cleaned "at". The cup holders weren't touched and it was obvious that the dash was casually wiped down. I had to ask to have water dripping on from the grill to be wiped down. The excuse of being really busy is not applicable as it was around 9:00 am. The 2 stars are for the young ladies who wrote up our ticket and collected our payment. They were exemplary. We no longer use 5 Minute car wash because of similar results. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. We paid for the full service, $30ish. I took some of my works fleet to Zoom in Stockton yesterday and thought "I should take my car to get detailed tomorrow.." and remembered Vintage Carwash in Modesto being closer to me. We brought our 2021 Toyota Prius, cleaned of any trash or baby toys from the back. I even removed my baby's car seat so everything could be thoroughly vacuumed. We sat on the grass and watched the employee wipe down our car for AN HOUR. I had money in my hand for a tip long before he was even done because I assumed based on the time length he was in our car cleaning it that it must have been immaculate--I couldn't have been more wrong. It's a $30 service, so some dust and specs in the floor mats is typical, but it literally looked like they didn't even vacuum. Dirt and dust left in obvious, easy to reach spaces, dirt, leaves and twigs all over. I do a better job vacuuming in the 10mins it takes me to clean my own car at a self serve wash. My husband called the employee back over, who pointed out his manager. We drove over closer to the manager and another employee approached us and asked to help. We told her our issues with the obvious lack of effort put into a basic detail of our car, when we heard the manager (a man, dressed in all black with a lame black flat cap on) tell the employee "well he's not getting his car vacuumed there..." with tons of attitude. All they offered us was a free vacuum next time we come by. No thanks. This place is trash. Manager is trash, employee just used my Prius as a break lounge for an hour. We won't be back. Edit: my husband and I were reflecting on this experience later on and remembered we had a similar one several years ago with my old car. My truck drivers mirror was busted by THEM and the corrosive liquid was allowed to run down and damage my paint. Semon Odeshoe gave me his card and said to let him know the cost of the new mirror that it was HIS staffs fault. When I got back with the repair cost he got mad! Said he would check with the owner, took the estate and said he would need to talk to his boss and get back to me, he NEVER called! I had to turn it into my insurance company as I can NOT see to back up safely and the paint on my door is damaged, now I will have to pay a deductible and have a claim against my insurance thanks to his staffs negligence. Please never ever patronizing this dishonest business, they WILL damage your vehicle and LIE. Sick that he has taken advantage of a senior citizen. I will never go there again!!! It's like they don't even try, my car was a full detail and was done in literally 10 minutes. Disappointing, I won't be back this time. I received a 6 wash in side and out card for Christmas, I was so excited, then I read the reviews and became a bit nervous. But, they were so super friendly! They took their time explaining to me how everything worked and I was asked how I was doing a few times. It was my first time here and I didn't know if I was going to have to pay an upcharge because I have an SUV, but nope it was all included. I was impressed with the Teamwork of the employees and that even tho they had a ton of cars I still only had to wait for about 30 min. I noticed that the manager was constantly walking from station to station helping, inspecting and making sure the cars were done right. I have a child so yea, crumbs, but they did such a good job getting the bits of cereal and crackers from the tracks of the seats and from the floor. My car is super shiny and the wheels look amazing.(I had no idea how dirty they were.) I think I'll take it in every other month so my gift card will last all year, but then again I may need them more in the summertime. read more
