Stopped in here for a while on a recent day trip to Calgary. Bright, clean atmosphere and wonderful service. This was a great place to work for a while and indulge in some excellent drinks. We had the passionfruit iced tea, which was very refreshing, and a couple of iced lattes too. Neither of us could believe the lattes were dairy-free (oat milk was used). It was one of the creamiest lattes I have ever had, with a rich coffee taste. The owners also let us sample of their vegan empanadas. There are several from which to choose, and we had one with imitation chorizo sausage. A tasty snack with some kick. If I'm back in Calgary any time soon I will for sure stop in here again. read more

Ownership seems to have changed. They are now completely vegan, which I think they should post signage about (or maybe they have and it just wasn't somewhere noticeable enough?). I ordered a coffee and asked for cream (like they used to have sitting out). I was offered oat milk. Had I known, I would not have ordered anything. I'm sad my old "stop in for a great coffee as a treat" place is no longer. If you want to go vegan, cool, but definitely make that clear. read more

Hipster, local coffee shop. They brew Phil & Sebastian coffee, offer great service and lots of natural lightening. The store is adorned by kawaii x bohemian art that is available for purchase. Perfect spot to meet with friends or get a bit of work done. If you get hungry, you have a decent selection of mostly-sweet, baked goods to choose from. Their "insulated" cups aren't particularly effective at keeping your hands safe from the heat. So be mindful when you dash out the door with your java to go! read more

This was a cute little cafe a little outside trendy Kensington. It's really light and bright inside, very classy and clean. The place was quite busy for the Thanksgiving holiday, people socializing and a group was there working on school or work. I stopped by with a friend while on a bike ride, so we looked very out of place to all the younger hipster people in our bright Lycra suits. They serve Phil & Sebastian coffee and had a small assortment of bagels and healthy delicacies. Over all I really enjoyed my experience and also liked to support a local cafe vs giving my $3 to a large chain. read more

We came for takeout coffee which I guess is a good thing because this place is tiny and crammed full of hipster moms with strollers getting their caffeine fixes. It looks like they have free wifi but really uncomfortable seating which is a no-no for me. I tried the Spanish coffee (latté with condensed milk) and it was okay but nothing to travel for plus, I'm not a huge fan of P&S coffee as I find it too acidic. It's the only coffee I put sugar in (hence the condensed milk). The decor is nice, especially the cool light fixtures and fresh flowers in tea cups. read more

Expensive and watered down espresso. I ordered a large latte and it barely had the usual taste of the espresso shot. The ratio of milk and espresso was clearly way off. I find their prices to be very high, well over $5 for a large latte that doesn't even pack the expected amount of espresso is not a good start to anyone's day. read more

Nice location with solid coffee, they have P&S coffee and I believe they do magic to make it that good with the average machine they have. On my visit there I had a good time although I would have preferred to have a more interactive experience with the barista as I am always trying to understand the drink I'm having. In general a great local café to visit from time to time. read more

Great location, amazing baked goods. If you get there early in the morning they often have a deal for coffee and a muffin.

Love this place! I've often come in the middle of the day on a weekday to do some work on my laptop. It is really nice that I've always been able to get a table. Wifi is strong too. The coffee (P + S) is good and there is always a fruity ice tea of the day. The vibe is hipster... but lots of natural light, white and natural wood decor, always have good music playing and at a good volume. It is a little bit pricey, but they provide a beautiful space, A/C for summer, and quality products. I like the space, and how it is never too crowded, so I do go out of my way for Vintage Caffeine! read more

Had a coffee date with a girlfriend on a late Sunday afternoon. I tried a decaf Spanish latte with almond milk and it was delicious. It's a cute chic cafe and it was rather busy on a Sunday afternoon. I would definitely come back and try their other coffees. read more

They've tried to make contemporary meet bulky wood and just feels cold inside .. along with the service is awful . You can't ask them to make anything than the 4 things on the coffee menu or they seem annoyed . The also have maybe 5 things to eat which are average at best . The coffee is bitter and anything else gets cold so fast . Was really looking forward to a coffee shop around here and this one has really disappointed a lot of ppl read more

Stopped in for a coffee and pastry on the way to work. The pastry was fresh and delicious and the coffee was very good. The barista was friendly but the guy at the till was not and was full of attitude. I'm all for supporting local businesses and would rather spend my money here than Starbucks but I'm not rushing back to a place where the staff looks like they don't care if they have a customer or not (I was the only one in there at the time). Based on this experience, I would go here again if it was convenient but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

This new and beautiful coffee shop opened around the corner from my house so I was excited to give it a try! Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. Their brewed coffee was horrible and the cappuccinos were pretty but lacked flavour. They had no snacks on display except for one sad looking piece of loaf and the staff seemed less than thrilled to be serving us. I recommend skipping this place and spending your money elsewhere! read more
