Cut me again. Then, I blames my cuticle. What in the world.
    Foodie L.

They are ALWAYS running late even when you have an appointment. God forbid you ask for something that they don't like, then the shit talking starts. Also, they are too lazy to follow proper protocol. Instead of putting cuticle remover and pushing the cuticle back, they want to file the crap out of your nail bed quote on quote to get the cuticle off. AND they cut me every single time. Then, he uses the pumice for literally 10 seconds, and when i tell her that it, she gives me attitude. Just because they were busy, she rushed me. Horrible customer service. I will obviously find a different place to go.

I want to preface this by saying I was a former nail technician. I came in for a pedi and a full set. My pedicure was complete in less than 10 minutes. The nail tech literally TOUCHED each toe nail with the pusher. No actual attempt to use it other than to tap each side of each nail and put it down. My nails were rough from the removal of the previous gel pedicure. Though she "buffed" the surface of the nails briefly, the nails were still quite uneven and ridiculously obvious post polish. Then she applied a base coat to about half of each nail, with as minimal effort as humanly possible. And finally the polish was put on. The photo speaks for itself, but just adding that instead of removing the lint that she saw on one of the nails, she painted over it... I won't be doing the full set here of course. This work is embarrassing.

    The worse manicure ever

Yikes, deserved not even a 1 for a star I am not going to go back for sure.Waited 30 min, ok here she comes starts coughing while doing my nails. Asked me if I know my color Yessssss, Lincoln park!!!! She starts the polish it's red not Opi then says if she applies it will be the same color. Ok I get this color a lot in the winter. I hate to say it why do people do this!!!!! I replied no I don't like the red she is still convincing me that it's dark !!!!!! Omg please no massage or anything I just need to run !! What I had to do !

Must say I've been trying to find a good nail salon I've been to everyone up foothill and Down so far this has been my fav I think I found my nail salon

Glued my ripped skin back on

If I could give you guys a 0 start, I would. Stay away from this nail salon. They are unsanitary. they cut my toe nail skin and proceeded to glue my skin. I asked them if this is glue and they said yes. I ask them to wash it and put alcohol on it. The worker there named Joanne touched the skin with her bare hands and tried to pull the skin back off my toe nail. I cannot wear my shoe and they refused to give me slippers so i can leave. They said it's not their problem. I'm sorry, how is it not your problem?!!

So blocky and didn't even put cuticle oil or wipe off with alcohol (gel acrylics)

This is why going to a new nail salon is so tough. None of my nails are even. They're all painted so unevenly with streaks. Not only do they not do that great of a job, they talk about you while you're right in front of them. They try to make you get gel for more money after saying you want regular so many times. Overall, customer service sucks. They don't paint nails or file evenly. And they're overly priced. Save your money and go elsewhere!! I also realize that they prioritize people that look richer aka people that walk in with designer stuff because they think they'll pay more which is sad.

Moveed to this area about 2 years ago and had to find a new place. Tried the closest place and couldn't be happier. I always make an appointment, and i have never had to wait longer than five minutes to be seated. I get a gel mani and regular pedi. Honestly, everyone is really good but I like to stay loyal and Cindy (young) is my girl. They have a variety of brands and colors. I also would like to add that the shows they have on the TV are educational and interesting to watch. If you don't want to see how the rest of the world lives, then close your eyes and relax.

They did me right. Call last minute and they let me come in for a Gel Fill and manicure... $50!! They are so cute and adorable.

They Are so cute and adorable. I love them! They let me take down my French Gel to this... $50!! Great service. Call in advance to book yours though...

The manicure was a disaster, this pic is taken right after my service :(

I'm new to the neighborhood and went in to this nail salon yesterday to try them out as one of my friends referred, the one star goes to my manicure which I will upload the pics of and you judge the quality of the service I paid for needles to say I asked her to cut and file my nails a couple of times because they were totally crooked... horrible :( But my pedicure was done by a sweet lady named Laura who did a very clean and detailed job on my toes, probably will book her for my next appointment and ask for Karen for my fingers since I saw her working on another client next chair and liked her job.

WTF. Completely uneven and bumpy. Are you kidding?
    Christina X.

I'm so disappointed and upset right now it's unbelievable. I called and asked if I can come in for a gel polish change on my acrylics at 12:30 and asked how long it would take because I needed to leave for work by 1. Karen, who I believe is the owner or manager told me it would only take 15-20 minutes. I showed up 5 minutes early and one of the techs took me in. She seemed like she didn't know how to deal with acrylics because it took her about 20 minutes to remove the gel on both hands until another experienced tech came and showed her how to do it. At this point my nails were already ruined. Mind you, I had just gotten them done at another salon 3 days prior. My nails look like GARBAGE. They're completely uneven and lumpy and they changed my shape without me even asking them to. I'm so furious that I wasted $21 for this terrible job. Now I have to go to another salon to get a fill when I wouldn't have even needed one if I didn't come here because she filed my nails so much that there's grooves in them. I will never return here again. I really hope the owner reads this and learns not let inexperienced employees work on clients nails. (See pictures)

Believe it or not, these are acrylics. Thanks to Karen

It's expensive for the work they produce but don't be surprised if they just take your change and say this is for the tip to the nail tech.

This spa is everything that you would regularly expect from a Korean spa, and had all the amenities that are typical, without anything extra. A hot spa, a cool water area, saunas (wet and dry) and places to shower and rinse. Locker room was basic but I don't need any extra frills so we were all good there. I was grateful for the food service they had upstairs - a bit pricey but no problem trying especially if it's your first time. Lots of rooms with various temperatures to help you relax, detox, get energized, and feel refreshed upon leaving. You can easily spend a whole day here - it's that relaxing. Next time, I'll bring a book! And maybe take advantage of a body scrub and massage.

This review is long overdue…read more I have been going to RA Organic Spa for over 20 years. I have visited other resorts and spas, but I'm always grateful that I found RA and can keep coming back. The feeling of comfort and serenity is abundant the moment you walk in. They greet you by name when you arrive and again when you leave. The lobby is small but very welcoming. They offer plenty of products for purchase, but they never hard-sell you. When you check in, there is a small waiting area where you can sit with hot tea, water, and small snacks while you wait. Please make sure to turn off your cell phone--this is a quiet zone, so whispering or no talking is encouraged. The dim lighting really makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. There is also another waiting area in the back if you need to change into a robe for your service. There is actually a lot of space back there to relax while waiting. The treatment rooms themselves are warm and comfortable, and each room has a closet for your personal items. In the back area, they also have changing spaces and lockers. There are two changing areas, along with a room that has chairs specifically for foot and neck massages. I highly, highly, highly recommend the foot massage. They take it to the next level because they start with your neck and arms before moving to the foot massage. I dare you to try not to fall asleep by the time they're done. I have seen the spa when they are busy and when they are slow, and I have never seen it dirty or unkempt. The level of cleanliness and the standards maintained by the staff have always been excellent. I've never had trouble booking an appointment. I've also given gift certificates to family members and friends, and three people I know now go there regularly because of those gifts. Their prices are by far some of the best in the industry. You simply cannot find a facial at the price they offer at RA. I've looked, and I can't find anything comparable. If you want a facial, I highly highly recommend Maria. She has truly turned back time on my skin with the facials she gives me. She listens to your needs and walks you through the products she uses to make sure they match what your skin needs and what you're looking for. She genuinely cares. Under new management, they have recently added online booking through their website, which is wonderful. I'm looking forward to another great 20 years going to RA--ugh, I just aged myself! A few additional notes: they do have a sauna, bathrooms, and one bathroom includes a shower. Parking can be a little tricky. There is structure parking and street parking, but the street parking is timed. I do have a great parking spot that I like to use... but I can't tell you where it is. It's my secret spot. Sorry!

My day started with being shown where the changing/locker room is, what to do next and where the lounge area is. There are waters and cups and plenty of seating to choose from while you wait. The fireplace really elevates the lounge. Lana did my CBD oil massage. She was very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'm not experienced with massages so I had a bit of trouble letting go control of my arm at one point, but she reminded me to relax. Afterward she brought me a drink which is probably normal for them but it was really nice lol. Again I'm not a seasoned spa goer. I really enjoyed the massage though. Next I tried out the sauna for a few minutes which was clean and very relaxing. Up next was my copper bath. When I stepped inside, I felt like royalty because it's set up so pretty with candles and flowers, it's a really nice tub with jets as well. I didn't want that to end haha. Next came my clarifying facial with Arely. This consisted of chemical exfoliation, extractions, an LED mask and a peel. She massaged me a bit as well which was nice. I wasn't sure if the extraction process did anything however because she applied no pressure to extract, it felt like just tapping on areas of my face but it's not a big deal. I can extract at home. The rest was relaxing! I finished the day off with Danielle, who was absolutely phenomenal. She told me exactly what we're doing and made me feel comfortable. First was the scrub, then she got a shower ready for me to rinse off and then brought me fresh water for after. Next came the body melt which smelled fantastic and felt really moisturizing. Danielle went out of her way to even give me a scalp massage and she sent me home with some of the body melt she used. I finished my day feeling at peace, soft and in a great mood. I do think I accidentally left my socks in my robe pocket but it's ok. No pictures because this was a total unplug day for me. No devices, no social media, just being present in the moment. Highly recommend this spa! I already decided that I want to make this an annual thing that I do each year for myself. Thank you Larchmont Sanctuary Spa!
