They've gone downhill in the last few years. I've been a customer for a very long time but it seems as though either their products are spoilt or the techs are getting too old. Gel peels off in 2 days, you have to constantly ask them to file one of the nails nicer and they are always in a hurry. Instead of putting cuticle remover and pushing the cuticle back, they want to file the crap out of your nail bed quote on quote to get the cuticle off. AND they cut me every single time. I want to preface this by saying I was a former nail technician. I came in for a pedi and a full set. My pedicure was complete in less than 10 minutes. The nail tech literally TOUCHED each toe nail with the pusher. No actual attempt to use it other than to tap each side of each nail and put it down. My nails were rough from the removal of the previous gel pedicure. Though she "buffed" the surface of the nails briefly, the nails were still quite uneven and ridiculously obvious post polish. Then she applied a base coat to about half of each nail, with as minimal effort as humanly possible. And finally the polish was put on. The photo speaks for itself, but just adding that instead of removing the lint that she saw on one of the nails, she painted over it... I won't be doing the full set here of course. If I could give you guys a 0 start, I would. Stay away from this nail salon. They are unsanitary. they cut my toe nail skin and proceeded to glue my skin. I asked them if this is glue and they said yes. I ask them to wash it and put alcohol on it. Not only do they not do that great of a job, they talk about you while you're right in front of them. They try to make you get gel for more money after saying you want regular so many times. Overall, customer service sucks. They don't paint nails or file evenly. And they're overly priced. Save your money and go elsewhere!! Made a same day appointment for a gel pedi and brow wax, was sat down right away by T who did a great job of prepping the nails before any gel polish was placed. The staff was sweet and greeted me the second I walked through the door. I would only recommend going in for a facial wax right before heading home since they didn't exactly remove any of the residue or left over wax on my face and just put some Neosporin over such areas. Not sure if it's a norm but make sure to bring cash since that's the only form of tip (I was always able to add tip after paying to other places I've been too so I didn't know that was a policy) and I felt rude not being able to leave more since I don't carry much cash. Moveed to this area about 2 years ago and had to find a new place. Tried the closest place and couldn't be happier. I always make an appointment, and i have never had to wait longer than five minutes to be seated. I get a gel mani and regular pedi. Honestly, everyone is really good but I like to stay loyal and Cindy (young) is my girl. They have a variety of brands and colors. I also would like to add that the shows they have on the TV are educational and interesting to watch. I find it disturbing that they play a show of butchering and killing animals for dinner. I get it there are a lot of Netflix shows about trying meals in different countries but this shouldn't be the vibe of a nail salon. People want to relax not watch rats being skinned for dinner. When Cathy is sick or on vacation,I look for Laura.They all know my routine and NO girl would ever ask me for extra honey sugar massage,flower or nail design,acrylic or French tip because they know I dislike those extras. I'm so disappointed and upset right now it's unbelievable. I called and asked if I can come in for a gel polish change on my acrylics at 12:30 and asked how long it would take because I needed to leave for work by 1. Karen, who I believe is the owner or manager told me it would only take 15-20 minutes. I showed up 5 minutes early and one of the techs took me in. She seemed like she didn't know how to deal with acrylics because it took her about 20 minutes to remove the gel on both hands until another experienced tech came and showed her how to do it. At this point my nails were already ruined. Mind you, I had just gotten them done at another salon 3 days prior. My nails look like GARBAGE. They're completely uneven and lumpy and they changed my shape without me even asking them to. I'm so furious that I wasted $21 for this terrible job. Now I have to go to another salon to get a fill when I wouldn't have even needed one if I didn't come here because she filed my nails so much that there's grooves in them. I will never return here again. I really hope the owner reads this and learns not let inexperienced employees work on clients nails. (See pictures) read more

They did a horrible job with my nails. I've never seen a nail salon paint my nails like a preschooler. My gel manicure started to peel off revealing all the layers one by one, which tells me they did not dry each layer properly. And I did a regular pedicure and the way they painted it on was very sloppy. Now I remember why I stopped coming here for a while. I come back years later and the poor job they do hasn't changed. This place deserves 5 stars for sure.!! I have been going to a nail salon (I will not mention) for more than 10 years. My last visit, was my last visit. There salon has gotten very dirty and their quality of work has dissipated. I'm not going to go into detail.. I found Vinpearl Spa on yelp last minute.. I use Yelp for basically everything and don't write as many reviews as I should.. But this place is totally worth it. I called last minute on my way home from work, I told them that I am going out of town this weekend and wanted to see if they could squeeze me in. They scheduled me in for an appointment (gel mani and pedi) for about an hour from when I called, It couldn't have been better timing. I came in and was seated immediately. Now just so you know... It's the week before Valentine's Day, they were very busy and my appointment was for 6pm. (They close at 7) They were so kind and did such an amazing job. My French tip mani and pedi looks amazing Laura and Angel gave my a very good experience and I will definitely be back again. I'm ready for Cabo and I'm feeling fabulous. Sigh, I had high hopes for this nail salon after reading the reviews but unfortunately, my experience was not that great compared to other salons I've been to... Not terrible but not great. Firstly, the address listed on Yelp (7209 Foothill) is WRONG. It's more than 0.5 miles from where the salon is actually located. I called the salon and they were very kind and stayed on the phone with me while I tried to find out where they were located... Eventually, I got there. See the Yelp picture for reference of how far the salon is from the address listed on Yelp. Once I arrived, I was seated immediately for a gel mani + regular pedi. Two gals began working on my nails and they both did a good job. I liked that they had the regular nailpolish in the exact same color as my gel nailpolish. At the end is sorta where they lost that extra star. I'm 7+ months pregnant and after they finished my nails, both ladies just left. They didn't help me put my shoes on, didn't hand me my purse, didn't help me out of the chair - nothing. I was really disappointed. Also, when I went to pay, I was told that if I wanted to add tip on my credit card, it would be an additional $1 charge. After I asked why, they waived the $1... seems shady to me. read more

Service: Full set with neon french tips (something from pinterest); called Sunday to see if there is someone available, they were not able to see me til Tuesday. Karen helped me out and said she could do what I wanted. She put the acrylic on like a pro (a little thick) and we were done. The painting was okay. They were busy so I can understand the need to go fast. I also got a pedicure and I really like how fast and clean from the lady that helped me (gosh i gotsta get names). I've been coming here for years since I was in highschool even before with my mom when I was little. I made an appointment to get gel removed at 5:15. I arrived 5 mins early she tells me it's going to be 2 mins. I've been sitting for 15 when she tells me to finally sit down at a table. Still nobody starts my foils at least. I also specified multiple times I want to keep my natural nail so you would think they would leave the foils on for as long as they can. So now I'm sitting waiting for 40 mins not one person tells me how long it's going to be or even a sorry. Only when I get up to leave because I had somewhere to be then someone is able to start on my foils. After soaking for maybe 10 mins she starts drilling the gel off...by the time I leave I was nice enough to tip the woman who did my nails and I don't even get a thank you she just grabs it and immediately walks away. I got no sorry for my time being wasted. It's just really rude since this is the only nail salon I ever go to and have been going to for years. I have been coming to Vinepearl for about 2 years now. I like everyone that works there. My personal favorite manicurist is Jenny who does an amazing pedicure and gel manicure all the time, for me and my mom. She takes her time and is careful time and time again. Which is very important. One time I had an issue with one of the new gels they used and went in a week later and they fixed it for me and no cost, no questions asked. They take care of their clients and if you call and make an appointment ahead of time you won't need to wait. They do get very busy. As far as cleanliness I've never had an issue so I can't speak on that. $43 for gel man and regular pedi, can't beat that for the quality!! read more
