Awful service. Would give zero if I could. Wine selection not even good. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

It's been a while since I'd last been but everything is as amazing as I remembered…read more I've seen them advertise their monthly "flight night" events for some time but never actually had been to one. When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me. Ambiance, food, drinks, all excellent.

I must start off by saying, I've been providing honest objective reviews for many years; about 2…read moreyears in I was promoted to an elite reviewer for that reason. This is the most bizarre experience ever. On or around March 9 in the early evening my wife and I go into Liquor City just to buy a bottle of rum; Cashier starts to ring it up, I swipe my credit card, screen says Approved, then the cashier tells me the register computer "froze" and I need to go to a different register :/ but a nice young Lady comes and advises to come her register, and she rings me up. Right after I swipe my credit card and it gets Approved again, the first cashier comes over and says stop, you have to scan this void receipt first or it will mess up the system, so then she voids my order, scans the void receipt then her computer freezes W T H Then the first cashier tells her something like she should have known better, and walks away to get the manager or something- at this point I felt like enough was enough, keep your rum and make sure I dont get charged. I'm intentually leaving out details because its not my job to audit their staff or procedures (so dont tell me to "get my facts straight" because I'm not going for perfect accuracy just telling what happened to me a couple weeks ago when I had the chance to do it i.e. do not ask me their names) I'm giving 2 stars because previous experiences were good, so you all have at least a 1 in 10 chance - however they certainly won't see me again

If I had my rewards card I would have saved a little more. Remember, no beer is sold in NY liquor stores. Hard liquor and wine. So many choices for wine. Excellent
