Chicken Parmesan

My family and I chose this restaurant to celebrate my brothers, his wife's, our father's and mine birthday and our mother joined us. Our birthdays are close so we decided to celebrate a nice dinner all together. The service was good attentive and accurate with the orders. The interior was being renovated apparently adding a bar and other updates but it didn't really bother us as I'm sure it will look great soon. So hard to judge the ambiance other than casual and clean. The food was very very good. Ordered the fried calamari which in many places its chewy or not fresh tasting but here is was near perfectly crispy and not chewy at all. The marinara dipping sauce was quite good as well. The bread on the table was excellent would have like some olive oil for dipping though. Veal dilation appetizer was very good nice and cheesy too. Gnocchi bolognese, the sauce was near perfect and the gnocchi themselves were perfectly tender. The chicken franchise has a perfectly cooked fresh cutlet The chicken parm I asked for light sauce and it came out with my request fulfilled perfectly, the cutlet again was fresh and perfectly crisp and tender. And the perfect amount of cheese baked on top to be slightly crisp on certain spots The chicken Marsella was good but the sauce was the only thing lacking (actually the only thing lacking out of everything ! We also got a meatball parm sandwich to go which was excellent, great bread which was toasted (something many places forget but it's key) and the meatballs were outstanding ! Highly recommend this place and I only wish we had room to share a pizza to be able to review that.

They have expanded and are almost done, so we decided to check it out since they have a bar. Food was great! Nice happy hour. Service was great and atmosphere was nice. Definitely will be going back.

Visited Vincenzo's for dinner for the first time. Despite having a reservation, we did have to wait quite a bit for a table. The interior is beautiful. Our server was nice, and our food came out quickly once ordered. Our meals came with bread and a side salad which were both okay. I ordered the eggplant parm with angel hair pasta which was pretty good. Overall a 3/5 experience.

Last couple of times our takeout order was incorrect when we got home. The food was marginal at best. Probably won't try again.!

Chicken francaise was ok, good lemon, but kinda sweet. Wait staff was attentive, but What was disappointing surprise was we were seated at 4pm, and early bird is 3 to 5. Chicken francaise was listed as an early bird choice. However we ordered 2 of those and both were charged full price at end of meal. When I asked if we ordered too late for the cheaper early bird price the waitress said "you didn't say the words 'early bird special' when you ordered" so you oay full price. Very surprised at lack of customer centric manner.. either ask the customer during order process since YOU know there are 2 prices possible, or assume if someone orders something on the early bird list, they want that price...... Net: future customers beware of that trick.... not sure I will ever go back.

When it was first advertised on Instagram, my friend made a reservation. However, when we arrived the staff were confused and overwhelmed by the big turnout and made no effort to assist us promptly. They sat us inside since the patio tables were already taken, and we waited 15-20 minutes for someone to take our order. The ambiance was casual and the noise level was very loud. They have a bar on the main level and the place just looks like a casual pizza joint. The patio seats looked more appealing and I found out after we left that they were doing a giveaway which we weren't included in. The girl dinner menu options were very basic with no meat or seafood options. I probably should've ordered off of the regular menu. I started out with an espresso martini which was okay, not the best and not the worst. Next I had a Caesar salad that was drowning in dressing that was too creamy and rich for me. The cheese pizza had a nice dough but the marinara and cheese were below average. I've had better pizza from a gas station, but I was starving since I'd already been there for 45 minutes. My friend only ate one slice of hers. I suppose we got what we paid for since it was only $25 per person. By the time we got our checks and were ready to go check out the book store, there were very few options left. If it weren't for the great company and the chance to check out Austen's Shelf, this night would've been very disappointing.

Our waitstaff, Ben and Brittany, were phenomenal. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I have a special dietary restriction, and they were kind enough to prepare a separate plate for me instead of having me choose from the main buffet. We also arrived a little early to put up some small decorations, and Ben was incredibly helpful in getting everything set up. The views were beautiful, and the food was delicious. Inside, there appear to be separate rooms available for private parties as well as regular dining, which makes it a cozy and versatile place for celebrations and larger events. My entire family was very pleased with how everything turned out. Another bonus is the location--it's situated in a charming little town with shops within walking distance, making it a great place to explore before or after your meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider returning for another special occasion!

Served quickly and hot in a big, wide bowl. It looked good. Had small, irregularly sized potatoes and chopped carrots. The broth was a little thicker than I imagined or had tasted before in other restaurants, or in the one I make. Clams were tiny and, as you'd expect from a can. Not fresh clams. In fact, you can put all the clams found in chowder in a single tablespoon. Even found a whole bay leaf in it, which should have been removed before serving it. So, how is the chowder? I've had better from canned chowder, and the one I make is way better. Zero stars for the chowder. Next up is the Turkey platter with sliced turkey (hard and dry), 1 ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes (ok, nothing special), 1 ice cream scoop of stuffing (totally disgusting, and had corn in it), string beans (with vine still attached), gravy (terrible), and a little cup of cranberries (decent). Total fail. The waitress was ok, though stopping by every 5 minutes to ask if everything was good was quite annoying. The 'ice water gentleman' was great. You never asked for water, and when the glass was 1/2 empty, he was there refilling it. Great job! The final score of 2 stars is for the historic inn's ambiance and layout. We won't be back, and do not recommend.
