When I finally saw Dr. Vincent, I felt rushed and that my concerns weren't being fully listened to and the dental assistant (she had told me her name was Maria and I have never had her before since I usually see Dr. Spadola and haven't been here in almost 2 years) basically laughed in my face when I told her I had somewhere to be and didn't want to wait over two hours just to be seen. The procedure itself felt rough, and I wasn't given enough information about what was happening or what to expect afterward. The overall atmosphere was not welcoming, and I left feeling more anxious about dental visits than when I arrived. I would not recommend this practice to others.

Dr Weiss had also recommended Dr Bemis as well. I was very pleased with how Dr Bemis worked together with Dr Weiss through both dental implants that I have elected to have. I cringe when I have seen commercials for implants that say teeth in 24 hours because it is vital to have professionals who will thoroughly and accurately evaluate if the patient qualifies for an implant. It is in the best interest of the patient to understand the process from start to finish because it is much more than drilling a hole and then capping the implant with a prosthetic tooth. He is extremely personable as well as professional.

When the endodontist couldn't save the tooth, I came back to have Dr Fletcher pull it. I am so squeamish about having teeth pulled, but he was great about it, and it went smoothly and painlessly. The hygienist caused more pain during my cleaning than I'd ever had at Cheshire Dental. My son had to have the same cavity filled twice, and then 6 months later the same tooth started causing severe pain. We came back to Dr Fletcher and he discovered an abscess and the tooth needed a root canal. I decided our teeth are too important to chance on mediocre dentistry, and we will be staying with Cheshire Dental and Dr Fletcher from now on. Saw him about it and told him hope it's not infected.. I had pain but it went away. He never explained why I got the abscess or even to have another xray which he shouldve done right away! Ended up seeing different dentist.. he told me what should've been done was a root canal and that abscess happened since it's still infected under the crown! Never going back there again.

When we have an emergency, we are seen right away. When it's something routine, appointments are easy to make. And in all cases, the practice is state-of-the-art. They definitely put me at ease, as I SHOULD have gotten my wisdom teeth out about 20yrs ago, but the initial consultation I had with this other doctor??....let's just say his comments alone about severe nerve damage because of how badly impacted they were, were terrifying to say the least. She knew everything about anything I had to ask her- for my own relief.. I got an appointment within a week! I was the first one of the day- Once X-rays were taken, I don't think I was in that chair more than 15 min He was injecting Novocain a few separate times each side of my upper mouth. The assistant walked in, they said I was going to feel a lot of pressure, if there was anything other than pressure- to let them know Voilà!! Both teeth were out within seconds of each other! I was amazed! Granted, I always loved the dentist!
