My appointment was on a Saturday afternoon, which may have made it less than positive experience. When I arrived, we were given a spot in the back corner of the store. Another bride and her guests were in the center of the store. I had brought my mom, my sister, and my best friend with me and it was quite tight to fit all three of them into the small space given to us. At our previous appointments, my style and budget had been inquired about and we had been offered water (and in one case champagne), at Truvelle none of these things were asked or offered to me. The salesperson did ask about my wedding date and then she told me that I could pull anything off the rack I wanted. I pulled a few dresses but because the other bride who was there had already pulled some that I was interested in I was told that I would need to wait and maybe I'd be able to try on those dresses. The samples did not fit (which I completely understand) but the salesperson did not clip them to give me a sense of how they would look (it looked like the other bride had all the clips they had), so my mom held them closed so we could get some sense of how the dresses would fit. One of the coolest things about Truvelle is that you can customize their dresses and there were quite a few customizations in the store to try on. When I inquired with the salesperson about what the specific customizations were, so that I could request them if I chose to buy the gown, she seemed vague and unable to really answer my questions. The poor customer service felt really disappointing given how excited I had been about this business. Also, for me personally, the materials of the dresses just weren't what I was looking for, each dress has several layers which left me feeling weighed down and warm. Some of the dresses were definitely beautiful but in person I just didn't love the materials. I had thought I would buy a Truvelle dress but ultimately I decided to buy my dress from a different designer and a boutique which I felt like really listened to my preferences. Unfortunately given my experience, I wouldn't recommend that my friends visit this store on a weekend. I hope that others have better experiences than I did.

During our appointment we had the beautiful storefront to ourselves. The dresses were beyond beautiful with their delicate details, unique materials and a variety of shades. I had a lot of fun trying on different styles and having having the lady in the shop tie a big bow in the back or add on a veil to help me picture myself as a bride. Once I tried on the Alexandra dress in dove grey I was sold. The dress was comfortable, moved elegantly and was long enough for my 6 foot frame. The lady in the shop took my measurements and sent me an email with additional information later that day. Once I decided to move forward with ordering the dress it was a simple process. I live in San Francisco and Truvelle was able to courier the dress here once it was made. The shop sent me a fabric swatch in the mail to help with picking colors for bridesmaids, flowers and any other decor that I wanted to coordinate with the dress. When I had questions such as what shoes they would recommend to finding out the ETA of the delivery the ladies at the shop were always helpful and quick to respond. The dress did not require much tailoring - shortening the straps, adding sewn in cups, buttons to create a bustle for the train and sewing the bow to the waist. On my wedding day putting on the dress was very exciting. Seeing the look on my now husband's face was priceless. He loved the dress as much as I did. The way the dress looked in photos on an overcast Northern California day was perfection. My friends and family showered me with compliments about how much they adored the dress. I hope to wear it on anniversaries since it can look less bridal with a tuxedo jacket on top. I was told by friends that deciding on the wedding dress was one of the toughest decisions of planning. I feel lucky that I was able to find a dress at Truvelle and feel confident in the choice. It was a positive experience from beginning to end and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a dress for a wedding or otherwise. They provided me with a made-to-order dress that fit perfectly and arrived just in time for my wedding. The quality of the dress was exceptional, and the customer service was outstanding. I am incredibly grateful to Natalia for ensuring I submitted the correct measurements and for her prompt, helpful, and transparent communication throughout the process. NO Refunds, or Exchanges - instead they recommend buying a brand new dress!!! They refused to view the dress in person or help with alterations. Their "solution" was to pay for a brand new dress in full. No Refunds or Exchanges - they never viewed the dress in person. Since then - they have blocked all forms of communication - all calls are sent to V/M - emails are never replied to We are out over $4000 for a dress that cannot be worn. Family members have reached out on our behalf to try and understand the situation - all attempts of contact were left unattended - instead my Fiance receives phone calls from a "Unknown Number" telling her to stop having people contact the business When we asked to meet in person they said that would be really unprofessional and unreasonable of you" When we asked to exchange the dress they said "NO" When we asked for help making the dress fit - they said "Go buy a coreset or something" When we asked if they can help with anything they said "We are done going above and beyond for you" Their own website states that "In a industry ripe with unsavoury practices, Union is 'so d*mn proud to be doing it the right way'" - Apparently the "right way" is by selling false promises and leaving their brides in the lurch. This has been the absolute worse shopping experience of our life. HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE BUYER BE WARNED YOU WILL BE SCREWED.

After a looooooong day of bridal shopping it was a breath of fresh air to have Amina as a consultant. We comfortably browsed the salon and selected the few that met my needs. I was looking for something very specific and it was so refreshing to be heard by her. The fitting room was surprisingly open, but the environment was so chill. Comfortable couches, relaxing music and great decor and views. But the best part was Amina. One dress of the three I liked had my friends tearing up. She was excellent at stepping back and chiming in when needed. Consistently pouring positivity into the situation. I asked to see veils and she brought out a soft tulle one that complimented the dress nicely. I was liking the dress but not feeling it. Amina could tell I was starting to get over whelmed and suggested we take a break and clear my head. Leaving our appointment my friends were so happy we booked an appointment there. One of them even said shed love to shop there for her own gown one day. By far one of the best bridal experiences.

Unfortunately, the sales girl that helped us ordered her gown in a size 0 and when it finally arrived, it was too tight and did not fit properly. We struggled to do it up and it caused folds in the skin on her back and made the strapless gown sit too low on her body so there was too much cleavage exposed. We. were very upset by this. The owner of the store assured us that this was not a problem and that she knew a seamstress that could fix in the dress. In the end we paid an additional $650 to alter the dress and it still did not fit properly. It was so tight and painful to wear that the bride was only able to wear it for the ceremony and some photos. She had to take it off for the dinner and first dance, etc, because she was so unbearably uncomfortable. This was a huge disappointment. Beware when you are getting measured at this shop that the correct dress size is ordered for you. Better to err on the side of caution and get a slightly larger dress that can be taken in if necessary than one that is too tight and in the end unwearable for your big day!

I was ecstatic. I had tried on other ready to wear dresses before going to Ou's but nothing compared to the custom dress Ou made me. Ou is a professional in every sense of the word. She cares a lot about her customers and goes above and beyond to deliver the best experience possible. I loved working with Ou. The dress was meticulous. Our communication was superb. This was my first wedding dress experience and I was so glad to have it at Novelle. They have so many beautiful dresses and Jade was even able to pull a few that I had saved in my Pinterest board. There was a very good mix of her pulling dresses for me and also just browsing around and selecting dresses to try myself. I had such a fun time and definitely recommend this shop! The only negative part of the experience is that they only carry larger sizes in the store so it was hard for me to get an accurate picture of what the dress would look like in the correct size for me. It also meant I couldn't purchase off the rack. Jade was also super communicative after my appointment. She shared all the details of my favourite dresses with me and was also very informative about the ordering process and timeline.

A friend recommended Alma Bridal to me, so I called and she got me in right away. Sara put my mind at ease, telling me it was a lovely dress and she would have no problems fixing it in time for the wedding. As promised, my dress fit perfectly when she was done with it. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and she kept me from losing my mind trying to find a last-minute dress in the weeks before my wedding. I can't thank her enough.
