Friendly staff, they take time with you, not rushing to the next patient. Much cheaper than our Napa County vet.

Somehow I stumbled upon Cara's services and from there, she walked by our side until the end--and beyond. Cara is warm, knowledgeable, intuitive and caring... Everything we needed to shepherd us through our loss. I highly (highly) recommend her services. And I won't go through another loss without her.

As she approached the end, my wife asked me to take care of Zoey for her after she was gone. Since Zoey was blind, taking care of her created an especially strong bond between the two of us. Sadly, Zoey had kidney disease and four months after my wife passed I lost Zoey. Grief stricken does not begin to describe my mental state at that time. Our little dog was gone and I was now completely alone. Fortunately the wonderful vet who helped Zoey cross to the rainbow bridge told me about Cara DeLaRosa. I contacted Cara and began meeting regularly with her. There is no way I could have made that journey alone, none! Slowly while working with Cara and working on 'homework' projects she suggested, I was able to talk about my lost dear ones without breaking down every time. I will be forever grateful that I met Cara because I was in serious emotional trouble that could have easily gone south without her thoughtful guidance. Cara is a gem, and we are so lucky to have her helpful counsel available in our community.

I would like to give my glowing recommendation and praise to who I would call my friend and pet…read moresitter Melissa Bush. Melissa has been my pet sitter for almost 5 years. I completely trust her with the care of my fur baby, 100+ pound lab/Rottweiler mix, Patton. Melissa is not only honest, reliable, flexible, and available at short notice or emergency situations, she also showed enormous love and compassion for Patton. My dog LOVES Melissa, looking forward to her visits he gets excited at the mention of her name. Her rates are very reasonable for the services she renders. In fact as a busy person who feels quite guilty leaving my dog in the care of another, I love getting off work to find a text from Melissa updating me on how Patton's day was with her. I have complete trust in her being in my home and having access to my house key. Melissa always does exactly what is asked of her and shows interest and knowledge in my dog, alerting me to potential medical or behavioral problems. Patton has had a few medical issues throughout his short life, and she is great at giving him his meds and keeping an eye on his progress. My dog needs the comfort of his own home and really doesn't like the kennel/day camp situation. Melissa relieves this stress on me and and for him by providing exceptional service at an affordable rate. Her never ending love and concern for my dog will never be forgotten. I would like to invite anyone with any questions or concerns to please send me an email.

He was very ill and my questions about antibiotic were met with condescension when I asked the vet about why they weren't prescribing antibiotic. Thank God Pet Care did and now he's getting better. He's on numerous meds for the hiatal hernia, which was causing him a great deal of pain and x-rays would have revealed. Forest Hills proposed treatment and estimate did not include an x-ray. My dog went through a week of suffering that was unnecessary. Just wanted to be a little more clear about why I left the first review. But it wasn't just the fact that he was misdiagnosed or symptoms ignored, or made no effort to diagnose, it was the fact that when i asked about it , I was treated with condescension and a statement ,"we don't use antibiotics for this" and from the Dr. about "how much money Dr Long made by selling the practice to VCA". I found those remarks to be inappropriate. She also asked me are you listening to me excuse me? You all weren't listening to me or my dog symptoms think about it.
