This small theme park makes folk tales come to life with Alice in Wonderland walking around in the flesh along with the White Rabbit. There's also Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and the Queen of Hearts! There's about 50 things to interact with such as theme expositions, carnival rides, entertainers, animal farm and the such. The entertainment are mostly teens with summer jobs but they are very kind and sweet on the kids and do a very good job. They perform a show every 30 minutes and spend their time walking around their areas entertaining kids. It's sorta magical but I would assume it gets a little boring for them. Hopefully they rotate positions! I'd say this place will keep you busy anywhere between 2 to 3 hours. Two adults and a 3 year old set me back about $56 + taxes. Decent value. The food does leave to be desired, for a place with so many kids I would have appreciated more food options instead of 2 food areas with generic hots dogs and burgers.... an effort in this regard would be appreciated. The coffee joint and ice cream joint were closed and left the whole the on-site amenities somewhat to be desired. The park is nice but could use some love, the paths are dates and the whole area looks like it needs some maintenance.

How much fun!!! I…read moredidn't wanna do it because I was scared but I end up here because I bought tickets without even knowing what I was gonna into. My kids, my nephews, and my brothers in laws went and it was a great experience. Yes I was scared but it was so cool when I was going down but I enjoyed the gorgeous view of this beautiful place in Canada I paid $36 for the three of us and it was a nice price for kids it's less and they can go with you in the same cart.

The luge only happens from noon-2pm, so plan accordingly. It was SO fun. You first select your helmet. Then you take the specific gondola up to the start of the track. You basically get a 2 second tutorial on how to brake, then off you go! The first minute, there are some stops and turns before they let you start on the real track. It's really cool because you're pretty high up so you get a view to your left. Then you wind through some forests on the side. I think I was surprised by how fast you can go, but also how well the plastic vehicles handle. Just be careful. I got a douchebag who veered past me just as we were about to enter a slow zone with road blocks. He almost collided with me. I stopped to let him through. In any case, the course takes about 5 minutes, but it's actually surprisingly satisfying because of the many turns. You pay $12 I think for the first run, but you can do it many times for a discounted price. Honestly, it's kind of scary, and I'm not sure I would let a 10 year old on this thing.

Visited Calypso Waterpark for the 1st time!…read more Wait times are extremely long on the weekends, waited 2 hours to get onto the lazy river. Food was average but pretty expensive, paid $66 for 4 beers & nacho's. The wait times are honestly worse than Canada's Wonderland in GTA, not well organized for efficiency. What's the point of buying tickets online if they overpack the park anyways? Lined up for the Boomerang ride with tons of others in line at 4:50pm, 2 people out of our group of 7 needed to go to the washroom & stepped out for a few minutes while 5 were waiting in line. When they came back, security walked into the line to remove them because they got notice from one lifeguard. Right before this, we witnessed another lifeguard telling another family that if they had others waiting in the line, they could re-join the line. Wasn't happy with this unfair treatment at all. Descent variety of rides & we still had fun as a group (thus the 3-star and not 1).

It's about 1.45 hour drive from Montreal, don't drive to quick all you eager beavers because once you get in to Ontario the speed limit changes. You're charged 10$ for parking and 10$ to rent a locker ( yes they take cards ) You are not allowed to bring in booze so keep that in mind when you're packing you're cooler. (They do have a few bars on site but don't know the prices) Bathrooms are hidden behind the locker room shack FYI AQUALOOPS .... Do you have nerves of steel? Ready to take on G-force speeds? The cabin door shuts and you feel a rush of excitement. 3, 2, 1...The trap door suddenly swings open and gravity pulls you down at over 60 km/h! In less than 2 seconds, you go from 0 to 2.5Gs. How's that for fast? You won't even have time to scream and the next second you're laying down at the bottom of the slide confused as ever. Amazing ! KONGO EXPEDITION .... An old legend has it that there is a mystery at the end of this wave river. What could it be? Jump on a giant inner tube and let the waves transport you through an unexplored world. Deserted islands, flooded caves and raging waterfalls await during this thrilling adventure! Watch out for the exotic animals, reptiles and sneaky primates along the way! Best 15 minutes i spent on a ride all day. TURBO LAB .... i went down the acid test which was a tube for two people that spins and spins around once you get to the middle you go down a little slide and in to a pool. CALYPSO PALCE ..... Canada's largest wave pool ! Waves reach up to 1.8 meters high when you go all the way to the front. You will hear a sound go off and people will start screaming meaning the waves are about to start. There is smoking sections on site and yes you can now go topless for those of you who have been following the news and no I did not see anyone topless lol. All and all it was a great day FYI keep ur tickets or receipts as you can go back a second day for a whopping $12 only.

There's also a stage with live music in the evenings, and inside La Place pour les Citoyens there's very clean bathrooms and a really comfortable Mama Baby room with everything you might need for changing diapers and feeding and giving a small kid a bit of a brain break from the commotion outside. We went with our neighbours who had a couple pro tips: for one, we went early, like from 11-2pm. By the time we left we couldn't get strollers through the crowds, and the alcoholism that can live unobserved in quaint country towns was beginning to make itself visible, but while we were there it was perfect. We also parked our cars in one of the lots outside town and took advantage of the free shuttles. These were school buses dedicated to bringing people in and out, helping relieve congestion in the narrow streets of sweet Ste-Adele. They came every couple minutes and meant we didn't have to deal with trying to find parking or maneuvering in town. Smart. My three small suggestions for improvement: I'd love to see more local artisans spotlighted and fewer importers, I'd love to see one cool vegan food truck, perhaps in place of one of the 27 poutine trucks (I kid, but not much) and in the amusement park it would be great to have one or two more spots to by tickets for the rides since there was some real congestion and confusion there. Overall though, a spectacular festival in a beautiful spot, really well organized. I definitely plan to make it an annual rendezvous for our family.
