Either way, this is a great choice if you want to let your kids go crazy and if you wish to release your inner child!

It does the job for a young child, so 5 stars it gets! Well my son visited this place when he was 2 and he's now almost 4 and he loved it even more the second time around! We spent I kid you not a good 5 hours here! This place isn't really a museum. It's not "educational" in the traditional sense although kids can learn by doing all sorts of things. The kids can go inside a fire truck, police car, rocket ship, weird cave, grocery store, school room, pet clinic, airplane, and there's a karaoke stage. Some useful tips here would be to 1) go with 2+ kids unless you want your kid begging you to cram into a rocket ship with him. It's always fun to spend time with your child but your child really wants to play and so you'll need to bring a play buddy. 2) bring snacks and water! They do NOT sell food but if you plan on staying longer than an hour or two, you might as well bring something to eat. They have a couple of sticky (yuck but whatever) picnic tables you can eat at in the front of the venue. Not amazing but gets the job done. Of course, you can always sneak in some food inside the venue but it isn't allowed. 3) Every hour they have a "show" which consists of weird acting done by French teenagers on the boat downstairs. As another yelper said, I could have gone without it. BUT, the icing on the cake is that during this show, everyone congregates downstairs and you get the whole place to yourself :) There's a lot of parking as it's not downtown, it's in Laval. Bathrooms were pretty clean which is a plus. Oh, and I went on a weekday I wouldn't dare go here on a weekend.

All I know, I saw many things that opened my eyes and no staff were anywhere in sight. I think I saw a pair of staff in the whole kid playing area of over 100+ kids and I was beside myself with all the children running everywhere with no monitors/parents in sight. 8+ kids in a small trampoline enclosure bouncing on each other, many kids crying all over the after sustaining a battle wound... and at one point 2 kids of about 3 years old running full throttle into each other while looking behind them... with the most fascinating meat smacking sound and car wreck in pieces on the floor afterwards. I tried hard not to laugh, it was comedy gold I tell you! Don't worry after a few tears they were running around as if nothing happened. Some places in here also smelled weird, with the occasional whiff being breathed in from some long lost tragedy that happened in this place. My mind wandered...what caused this smell? How long ago did it happen? Why am I still smelling this today? Did they survive the ordeal? So many questions... They also have an arcade and it's pretty ancient with the original NBA Jam from the early 90ies where most parents here today were around the age of the kids running around today. The biggest tragedy of this place though is that it still requires 4 tokens to play a full game. Insane! There's a small snack bar station for parents inclined to feed their child some fast food or more sugar for whatever reason. I came here for a birthday party, it was OK, it was free and got to hang with friends, so that was cool. I can see myself coming back here on day and not by choice. :)

Tropical Rainforest, Laurentian Maple Forest, Guld of St. Lawrence, Labrador Coast, and Sub Antartic Islands. As you enter each habitats the climate will change. Birds glide overhead, and wildlife lives within carefully designed natural habitats that feel both safe and intimate. Close enough to connect, far enough to respect the wild. Accessibility was thoughtful too, with both stairs and a smooth walkway option. Getting there early made all the difference. By my second loop, the school groups had arrived and the energy shifted from calm exploration to lively chaos. The Biodome itself is massive, divided into five distinct ecosystems. One moment you're wrapped in tropical warmth, the next you're stepping into a colder, northern world. It's like walking through climates instead of hallways. Location is another win. It's right outside Viau Station, making it incredibly easy to reach. Plus, it sits alongside the Montreal Olympic Tower and the Montreal Planetarium, turning the area into a full-day adventure playground. It's almost a slam dunk, because it checks all the boxes. Unfortunately the execution is really counter productive. - It's way too expensive at $20 per visit, per kid. At this cost we would have to make an event of it, rather than visit often for just an hour. - It's billed as 0-12 years old, but there is nothing appropriate for 0-1.5 or so. If there are a lot of kids, even new toddlers are going to get trampled - There isn't a decent place to breastfeed, and I'm pretty sure there isn't a diaper changing station. The lack of these are absurd if you're aiming at families. - The coffee is $5 and mediocre. If the food is more reasonable, I could see is sitting there and having lunch or snacking often. There is significantly better coffee nearby, for maybe even a little less. I hope this place changes and improves. It would be wonderful to have it in the neighborhood.

There are several paths, some are more magical than others. The Dog path is also the main one, which is about 6 Km of a wonderful shaded trail so even during a blazing sun and a hot day like today we could enjoy the shade, cool forest smells and not break swat. PERFECT. The trail is a good dirt/gravel road that even a good stroll can pass there and is perfect for running. Bonus there are benches and garbage bins along the trails. So what can I do here except hiking ? There are Geocaches, disc-golf, swimming pool (was still closed), running, outdoor sport, soccer 9there is a field, fishing. Bottom line a wonderful well maintained park that is a great solution for a fun and short nature escape.

My daughter loved it but so did we! So much fun that you easily lose track of time. Jumping and doing crazy stunts can work up a sweat and the place is ideally well ventilated. What a cardio! I used to love this place and go a lot as a teen and young adult. One year I almost drowned,…read moreslipped and was sucked under by the current. Fire and EMT had to use a hovercraft to get to me. In the end I was ok, with minor concussion and lesions but that was the scariest time in my life. I was pinned to the bottom for what seemed like forever, feeling like it was all slipping away to fast, and all i could think about was not being able to pick up my kids on time from their dads. Thank goodness they were not with me that day. No a great place for little kids AT ALL. Just be safe. Mother nature is not one to mess around with.
