If I could leave a negative or zero this one star rating wouldn't exist! This review below has been posted everywhere I can think of to warn people!
I just had the worse customer service experience here at Village Cleaners on McEver Road at the corners. If you use this dry cleaner beware. After being a customer for more than 3 years, always dealing with the same person, an employee, I met the owners today. Yes, the OWNERS were extremely RUDE!!!
When I asked after the other employee's whereabouts, he proceeds to TRASH this woman. He tells me he HATES her. That she has too many problems and he doesn't like employees with problems. When asked if she was no longer with him, he replied that she would be there tomorrow. WOW!!!
After several minutes they couldn't find my phone number which has been unchanged for YEARS. The employee he trashed finds
me without incident every time for years! Even remembers my dogs who ride with me occasionally. After much debate and finally viewing the screen myself it was because they could not read the name properly, making my two last names one word. Then mispronounced it so there was no way they were going to find it reading it. IF you don't know I have two of the simplest names ever...PEACE JAMES.
In either case, when I spelled the combination of names, including the space between the two names, any ONE of the FIVE times, it was clear to see that all that was missing was a space between the two names. I literally had to press the space bar
(after he called me behind the computer to prove me wrong) to explain what I meant. He proceeds to lecture me. FIRST that I had not stated my own name properly, and then that I should not give them two names. Which one is it? Now I'm a liar because you can't read. Here's the kicker...Guess who put the information in the computer years ago?? Wait for it! THEM!!!
He then waived me away literally from the computer and said "What you got?!" I was holding 1 of 2 comforters I needed dry cleaned. One needed a repair at the seam. Before I could say anything he said "What's that?" pointing at the tear. I said "A rip". He says "No we can't take that!" Keep in mind they have sewing machines in my direct line of sight AND they have repaired other items for me before.
At that point I tell him to erase my information and I wouldn't be back. He slams the door closed then tells me through the speaker "God Bless You." I replied "But your employee has problems?" That is the nicest thing I could say trust me. I'm working on it!!
My money is just as green as the next person. Judging by the attitudes of both the husband and wife I don't think they like it from certain people! Okay I'm done ranting!! read more
