What happened to this business? I bring clothes every week and for two of the last three weeks they're not ready on time. Worse yet, the person at the side door is rude and obnoxious. I've been taking my dry cleaning to cleaners for a while and I am satisfied with their work. I also have my shirts laundered and starched. I must say they do a good job. Today I was greeted by Tossha, she was friendly and professional. I had a few questions and she was very informative. Never using this cleaners again. Brought them a Diane von Furstenberg dress, they ruined it. At first when I went to pick up, the girl said they were "working on a spot" but the next day called to tell me they'd cleaned it next to something else that bled all over it, destroying the dress. I was nice and told them they didn't have to buy a new one, but they could just not charge me for my cleaning. When I went to pick up the rest of my cleaning, they took $5 off the bill, charged me for everything else, and didn't even apologize for destroying my designer dress. I took a dress to Village Cleaners a few weeks ago to clean. It came back with the hem ripped out. I took it back for them to repair it (make it right). THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT - saying they are not responsible when that happens. Then WHO IS? There are so many good local cleaners, why would you lose a customer over $24????? read more

I am new to the Amarillo Area, and needed a good reliable cleaner for my business attire. I've been taking my clothes to village cleaners for the last several months, one morning when I dropped off my outfit I had a particular kimono that had tasselsattached to it. It was a new outfit I never wore and it was delicate. I had assumed that it was dry clean only I never looked at the tag but it was hand wash only. The girl who took it never said anything told me that I have have my clothes later on that day. When I picked up my outfit and got home was ruined. The next day I called and spoke to Cory, who is the owner. I explained my situation and what happened after talking through it together he took the time understood the importance of what I do and that I need to have my clothes dry cleaned. He offered to replace it or give me a store credit. I took the credit because I know that I'm gonna be back to see him and his wonderful staff. Life is short we always hear about the bad things but I wanted to recognize Cory and the staff at village cleaners.
