We hired them to prewire the home and eventually install four (4) CCTV security cameras and DVR which we owned, plus prewire the home for a Security Alarm System. Holland pre-wired the home for the CCTV cameras and security system during the construction. When the home was completed, Holland returned and installed the cameras and the hardware for the security system, which included a siren. He did a fantastic job with the install. After he completed the work, he went into detail explaining how the system works and what to do if there ever was a problem. Jon and Ruth are great and easy to work with. They obviously have a well trained tech in Holland. I would highly recommend Powers Protection, Inc. for all of your needs, Security, Fire, CCTV, 24 Hour monitoring, etc. Office : Phone: 352-746-3500 https://www.powersprotection.com/index.html

However, it quickly became clear that the job wasn't fully completed--several doors in the home still won't close properly, which is a clear sign that more leveling is needed. Since then, we've made multiple attempts to follow up with Dexter. We've called, left voicemails, and the only response we've received for him are vague promises like "we'll try to get there this weekend," with no follow-through. It's now been over two months with no resolution. We paid $1,000 for this service and expected the job to be completed properly. The lack of communication and accountability has been frustrating, and we're still waiting for the work to be finished. Very disappointed in the follow-up and reliability. Would not recommend.

My utility pole on my property rotted and needed to be replaced, I called a few places many of…read morewhich didn't install the poles themselves and would need it installed prior to them showing up. I called Integrity and spoke to Mathew and within an hour he was able to come over and give me a free estimate. Within 10 minutes of looking at it all he immediately knew what had to be done and with some back and forth between us we figured out I wasn't a professional pole installer or electrician. With a quote and a plan we were able to get the permitting done and the next day the pole/new panel installed. Mathew sent over Rob and Justin who worked in the rain and the summer heat tirelessly. They went above and beyond even switching over my internet box for me onto the new pole and checking all the wiring to ensure that everything would be cleared by the inspector and was safe!!! This team at Integrity I truly believe know what that word means, I loved every minute talking to them and learning from them, I will 100% be using Integrity again for my electrical needs!

Dangerous Workmanship, Double Cover-up, and Zero Business Integrity - Owner Matthew Gooden…read moreEverything worked perfectly for 3 years until Matthew Gooden worked on my panel. I independently ordered a routine four-point inspection simply to shop for a better insurance rate. The inspector noted a visual double-tap, and I hired Matthew to clean it up. Instead of shutting off the power, he performed alterations while the panel was fully live, leaving the appliance wire lugs dangerously loose and creating an active fire hazard inside a home where my two children live He executed his first cover-up before leaving by hand-writing a fake "Surge" label on the wrong side of the metal cover to mask his layout before leaving the country for vacation in Italy The exact moment Matthew finished his work, while the panel was still fully open, I snapped a photo and sent it to the inspector to have noted the double tapping was gone. This loose connection caused my hot tub to stop heating and my stove to repeatedly trip. Integrity Electric executed a second cover-up, during a follow-up call when his technician explicitly felt the circuit and warned us, "it's hot. Don't touch it," but would not admit to the fault and claimed my stove was too close to the wall thats why it wasn't working correctly. It has been in the same spot for years, AGAIN my property was abandoned with a immediate fire hazard. Less than 24 hours later, I paid $398.00 to a different electrical company for emergency intervention. The technician opened the box and officially documented on my Invoice that the wire lugs were left "really loose, creating an immediate fire hazard" This company's pride and ego are keeping him from doing the right thing. Instead of protecting his customers and his company, his refusal to accept that he caused major safety problems is dragging down his company's reputation over a simple refund. Matthew continues to make up lies by claiming my insurance company requested and accepted this repair. He has refused a refund, stated he has issued a fraudulent $225 bill for the follow-up, and actively refused to disclose his mandatory liability insurance information. I am dealing with severe family health emergencies, however all photos, text logs, emails and certified reports will be filed directly with the Florida DBPR License Board and Marion County Building Safety for formal professional negligence. And I emplore anyone whom is having a problem with a contractor to do the same. When a company does not except responsibility we as the consumer need to hold them liable. IF YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION!!!!!

My wife and I were considering adding a whole house surge protector to our Central FL house,…read moresimilar to what we had installed in our TX house. In doing some research, I found out Duke Energy installs whole house surge protectors, waiving the installation fee, but you pay a monthly fee of $10-$15. Whenever I can buy a device (like buying a modem vice paying monthly to an ISP to rent one), I would rather buy than rent. Another thing I learned is that most install a surge protector rated at 65kA or 80kA. While anything between 40kA and 80kA is sufficient protection, I opted for a 108kA device similar to what we had in TX. I called around for quotes. One guy quoted that he charges $40 an hour which is more than fair...but in speaking with him, I didn't get the feeling he's a master of his craft. He told me to research what I wanted instead of recommending what he has installed in previous jobs. Pass! Another electrician, used by our next door neighbor, who knew about the Eaton 108kA surge protector and its requirement for a 50A dual pole circuit breaker for installation, was charging $250. When I contacted Gallagher Electric, Andrea was responsive and provided a very competitive quote. They typically install 80kA surge protectors but I told them I prefer the Eaton 108kA surge protectors that I will purchase from Home Depot. We agreed on a price and they even provided the Square D 50A breaker as part of the installation. Installation was a breeze as Kary did quick and efficient work. I was even able to ask him additional questions about some electrical work I'm looking into doing myself. Great professional service from a small business at a good price!
