I got the fried pork chop sandwich and after a bit of a wait I was presented with a golden fried, thinly cut piece of pork on top of an artisan roll served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle and a huge pile of fries ( I had asked for onion rings but he discovered he was out of them and promised to have them the next time I came). The sandwich was fantastic; crunchy with good flavor. My one comment is that an aoili or other sauce would have made it perfect. Fries were good too. I also tried some of my friends Reuben and it was juicy and full of the corned beef and sauerkraut goodness that all Reubens must have. Southern Thyme Grill is a great addition to the growing fleet of food trucks on the NC coast and one that I will be visiting again. Finding the truck is a bit of a challenge since the schedule is not currently on there website, but their Facebook page is fairly regularly updated, but when you do find it, you will be glad that you did!
