Four Star Review for Bad Bob's Grill (Food Truck)…read more We stopped by Bad Bob's Grill (Food Truck) for lunch between my Grandson's Lacross games. We both had their Calico Jack Sandwich: A delightful combination of Creamy Mac and Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork. The sandwich was a bit messy due to the Mac and Cheese, but the abundance of pulled pork made it delicious. It came with a choice of sides; my wife enjoyed the perfectly cooked French fries - crispy outside and soft inside. The portion size was generous. I had the coleslaw, which was tasty, although the portion size seemed a bit small for the price paid. I would have expected a larger serving. The toast on the bread was some of the best I have had. We will be happy to use them again if the opportunity arises again.

Glad I tried this food truck at EOD Distillery. After being disappointed at another "California"…read morefood truck, I didn't have high expectations of this one. Luckily, this one made up for it 10 times over. There was no line so it only took 5 minutes for my food to be done. The menu was simple, just California burritos and fries with either chicken or carne asada. It was a bit pricey ($12.50 each), but it was worth it for the quality. The California burrito came wrapped in brown wrapping paper. It was tasty- it had crispy fries, tons of carne asada meat, fresh avocado slices, and a delicious sauce. The sauce was Mole-like and had a hint of spiciness. I've had better tasting carne asada meat, but their meat still had good flavor. Wished the carne asada had more of a grilled flavor and crispy bits. I could only finish half of the burrito. Loved the carne asada fries. They really know how to make fries. Just like the burrito, these fries were perfectly crispy. They were smothered in a delicious sauce, melted cheddar cheese, fresh avocado slices and topped with shredded cotjia cheese and minced red onion. This would be filling for a meal. Definitely try out this food truck if you get a chance.

This year, there were 13 of us, sharing multiple meals together. I reached out to the team at All About Churros to cater a lunch service for us. While I had experienced the wonderful food and service at their truck, much of our New Bern staff, and none of our remote staff, had had the pleasure. The AAC team put together a wonderful spread of Street Corn and a variety of Empanadas. And, of course, a delectable Churro tray. I should also note that they put all of the corn toppings on the side, so people could customize how spicy they wanted it. The entire experience from top to bottom was great! All of my team LOVED the empanadas - several of our staff had never even had one! I think more of the New Bern staff will be seeking out the truck in the future. We coordinated easily over email, and the team was able to easily accommodate our allergies (Tree Nuts and Strawberries). The price was more than reasonable, and the team delivered it to our office directly and right on time! I would definitely consider using them in the future for catering a gathering like this as well.
