If you don't know, Charlie Brown's is a piano bar with killer food and atmosphere. That's worth the trip right there. Now, I wouldn't want to stay over at the Colburn Hotel, however this ole building was once the residence of American poet and counterculture figure, Allen Ginsberg. Pretty cools stuff right there. Oh, and there is a lotto machine in the lobby. I like to go in to buy scratch tickets. I'm pretty class like that.

After a very bad misfortune with another not so honest landlord, I found Jen and Furnished Homes To Go. I was able to move in between night shifts. The place is fully furnished and fully accommodating with everything from couches to sheets to every mixer you could need. It is easy to feel at home in this apartment. The complex has everything I could need, both outdoor and indoor pools, a fitness room, close location to I-70, many hospitals, and the Cherry Creek shopping district (very cute!) Jen is easy to get ahold of and has been very accommodating with anything I've needed or questions I've had. I highly recommend Furnished Homes To Go, Jen is a great landlord and, especially for other traveling nurses etc, this house is the PERFECT answer to all those problems that short term living poses.

Called, was brought a new remote, went to bed, woke up and THE NEW REMOTE DOESN'T WORK !" *The egg bites on the breakfast bar were cold. Seemed barely heated so -yuck!" The art is SO colorful and photogenic. Each room is decently equipped with amenities, with extra supplies in the hallway. There isn't a front desk. You receive instructions for accessing the building and your room via email. It's cozy and quaint. Street parking can be a challenge, but the stay is worthwhile. I arrived a little early for check-in and right when you enter, there is a tiny waiting room with an elevator. They had a sign that said between certain hours, you can actually head up the elevators to the next floor to check-in on an Ipad. I waited another ten minutes in the lobby area and when 3pm hit, they opened the doors to the hotel lobby/restaurant area. Also, I need to mention how incredible it smelled in the lobby. Seriously. This entire place thought of everything, even down to the smell. I loved it. Omg how dreamy and beautiful it is!! I was able to check-in with one of the girls in the lobby and it was seamless. She told me all about how the hotel worked. Typically, they don't have anyone there after 7pm but they have numbers in the hotel room if it's an emergency and you need something. They also sadly had a buyout for the restaurant so I didn't get to experience it, but definitely will come back and check it out next time I'm in Denver. Okay now for my room. HOLY WOW! I was on the third floor and the ceilings were soooo high. I've never had a room like that before. These rooms are so clean and beautiful. I felt more like I was staying at a friends cozy guest room than a hotel, which was amazing. They also came by the next day and made my bed and freshened up my room, too, which was so nice. The bed was also super comfy, too, which I appreciated. The location of this hotel is also super ideal. There is a restaurant across the street and a couple steps further is a coffee shop. Seriously such a great spot to stay within walking distance of some cool spots. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We showed up late around 10:30pm from our flight and they have no front desk just an IPad to check in! I am with my 19 month old baby and husband and just wanted to check in and got to sleep. I kept putting in my information and it kept rejecting it... again no person or phone number to contact. Finally another guest who stays there a lot reached out to the manager and he said we were a NO Show even though we had booked two nights and THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY AND TOOK OUR MONEY WITH NO COMMUNICATION. When we tried to explain to the hostess who I guess also runs the after hours, she was so rude and asked why we didn't call them!!! We are the customer and they took our money and also booked it out!!! The team was absolutely rude and snappy! THEY SOLD OUR ROOM AND TOOK OUR MONEY!! HORRIBLE customer service! We ended up having to book another hotel - the Brown Palace and they were beyond gracious and understanding!

Since Hilton is known for their service, it was shocking. The woman behind the desk said "Hiiii" in a very tired, sarcastic, and mocking way. She never smiled, asked us any questions. She was clearly annoyed to be doing her job. She then shoved our room keys at us and didn't even say "bye" or "have a great stay." It was so weird. 2) Rooms: Our suite was great! It was clean, spacious and came with a living room. The king-sized bed was so comfortable. 3) Space: The hotel is beautiful with an open lobby and bar. 4) Parking: Sadly, parking costs money so we parked outside of the hotel on the street.

Like on the anniversary I lost my husband, his birthday and our wedding anniversary plus a whole week to work on a book I had been writing for a long time. The inspiration and the quiet and gorgeous atmosphere help me to actually finish my book the week and is already on its way to being published. This place is so special and see glimpses of heaven every wear. I so wish I could live there and it's cheaper to stay there then a regular hotel. I keep the windows open just to hear the creak that is so calming and serene. I never met the old owner but Susan and Bruce are amazing!!! I just can't say enough about thins place and am going back for a 3 night stay this next weekend. I only live 30 miles away so it's no problem going spur of the moment if I need some alone time. Would love to spend another week to work on a new book I started. This is the most spiritual quiet place I've ever been and can't wait to go back and will most likely spend a few more stays over the summer. I just can't say enough about this very vey special place. Plus the cabin is so perfect with full kitchen and gourmet coffee pods. I can't wait to go back this weekend.

Being the energetic person that I am, I went for an amazing run at North Table Park which was very close to the hotel. I came back and was thrilled that Gab wanted to play a little volleyball with me. She is very skilled and was patient with me when I didn't quite pass the ball accurately. Dinner was delicious and my favorite sponge cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream was served up for dessert. The portions were huge! My room was super cozy and very tastefully decorated. I felt like I was at home. It was a wonderful stay at the Mesa Hotel and I will definitely return to this place again.

We had room 1-8, which had a valley view and was beautifully appointed with artwork created by the owners. For exercise, you can run, ride, or hike right out the front door around the Mesa which gives the B&B it's name. Or, for the adventurous, Gab will spend time with you jumping on the trampoline or you can take a unicycle lesson from her sister Anna. When the weather permits, meals are taken on the back deck with stunning views of foothills to the west. The chef, D'Gaw (French i think) was creative in his use of the smoker and grill. D'Gaw's wife Stephanie rounds out the the B&B staff, running the hotel shuttle and preparing generous and delicious deserts. We enjoyed the stay so much we plan to come back soon. Highly recommended.
