This place is incredible! I give it 10 stars. I usually go to spend time alone with God and reflecting on my life. Also all my stays fell on special days that I needed to get away and be alone. Like on the anniversary I lost my husband, his birthday and our wedding anniversary plus a whole week to work on a book I had been writing for a long time. The inspiration and the quiet and gorgeous atmosphere help me to actually finish my book the week and is already on its way to being published. This place is so special and see glimpses of heaven every wear. I so wish I could live there and it's cheaper to stay there then a regular hotel. I keep the windows open just to hear the creak that is so calming and serene. I never met the old owner but Susan and Bruce are amazing!!! I just can't say enough about thins place and am going back for a 3 night stay this next weekend. I only live 30 miles away so it's no problem going spur of the moment if I need some alone time. Would love to spend another week to work on a new book I started. This is the most spiritual quiet place I've ever been and can't wait to go back and will most likely spend a few more stays over the summer. I just can't say enough about this very vey special place. Rather than sleep in the same bed, we texted the owner and they provided the code for the 2nd bedroom. Tiny hassle, but not a biggie! We booked a stay on Airbnb after getting pre-screened by her, which is already unusual. We then had to pay a separate security deposit (not allowed by Airbnb), and provide lots of personal information including our licenses. When I asked 1 polite question about why that was necessary, she immediately told us to cancel our reservation and offered us a full refund. Despite having no backup plan for my family, I canceled per her request. Airbnb told me to collect the refund from her and she refused outright. I had to work with Airbnb support to get my money back, which was not a simple process. She is out to take your money any way she can. Do not trust her!

After a very bad misfortune with another not so honest landlord, I found Jen and Furnished Homes To Go. I was able to move in between night shifts. The place is fully furnished and fully accommodating with everything from couches to sheets to every mixer you could need. It is easy to feel at home in this apartment. The complex has everything I could need, both outdoor and indoor pools, a fitness room, close location to I-70, many hospitals, and the Cherry Creek shopping district (very cute!) Jen is easy to get ahold of and has been very accommodating with anything I've needed or questions I've had. I highly recommend Furnished Homes To Go, Jen is a great landlord and, especially for other traveling nurses etc, this house is the PERFECT answer to all those problems that short term living poses.

We contacted him and said we needed to cancel and he wouldn't allow it even though he was able to rebook the property. He is VERY familiar with how to get out of refunding your money and turned into a complete jerk as we had to scramble to find other accommodations as we couldn't get to his remote cabin. He obviously has done this many times before as he has all the right documents and small print that makes it impossible to get your money back.

I have rented many cottages, cabins, homeaway/vrbo type rentals while traveling and unfortunately, this is my first negative experience. So negative in fact, it motivated me to open up a yelp account. 1. You are expected to wash the bed linens prior to check-out. We did but, not to the owners liking. He charged us $40 claiming we ruined the mattress cover. 2. Yard surrounding the unit was littered with dog feces. I travel with my 5 year old son & my two dogs and don't want them encountering dog feces.. 3. The owner kept our $100 cleaning deposit claiming we didn't leave the rental as we found it when I know 100% that we left the unit (and yard), the dishes, the carpets, etc cleaner & tidier than we found it. When asked to provide a list of how the rental was not properly cleaned, he would not provide one. 4. Waaaay out in the middle of nowhere. Takes a long time (& gas) to get there. The price is great but consider what you'll pay in gasoline to get there. I suggest finding closer to downtown. The drive isn't worth it. I suspect, based on our experience, that this is the scheme the owner uses to keep cleaning deposits. In truth, he should have paid us to stay at this unit because we cleaned the cabin with more attention to detail than any cleaning service could have. We spent the entire morning cleaning up not because of the deposit but because we wanted to respectfully follow the rules. Unfortunately, Mr. Carter doesn't have the same ethics.
