È il posto ideale dove potersi rilassare dopo un intensa giornata di lavoro o al termine di un'escursione nella vicina città di Como, ricca di splendidi e pittoreschi luoghi da visitare. A poche centinaia di metri si trova inoltre la chiesa parrocchiale Santa Maria Assunta che dal 2010 è stata riconosciuta come Santuario diocesano dedicato alla "Santissima Trinità Misericordia". Mettiamo a disposizione dei nostri clienti due camere da letto indipendenti con bagno privato, salotto, sala da pranzo, parcheggio e ampio giardino con abeti, ginkgo biloba, lavanda, rose, rosmarino, ginestre, azalee e rododendri. The owners have a few properties and a restaurant which is also great. We had enquired about a studio apartment originally as just two of us but were offered Rosa dei Venti for the same price since the studios weren't available for our dates. Rosa dei Venti is a big apartment and would be more than comfortable for up to 6 people. We had a large double bedroom with huge wardrobes, such a change from staying at places with nowhere to put your clothes! The bathroom was fabulous, big bath and a separate shower cubicle plus a bidet-everything you could ever need. We only stayed 3 nights but it's definitely a place to stay for longer visits, the kitchen is fully fitted so great for cooking and has washing machine and even a dishwasher. There is a slightly limited view of the lake but lovely view over the church tower from the lounge and balcony. Fantastic service by the staff, super friendly and helpful for everything.

They were professional, and yet diverse in their perspectives and interests, so that our experiences with art, architecture, history, and the subtleties of each region were fully presented. Our focus will soon turn to the southern cities of this marvelous country, and I would not think of travelling without the insight and experience offered by Sophisticated Italy.
