Stopped for one glass of wine on a busy Saturday. The service was great and the wine was cheap. The outdoor seating area was sunny and there were a lot of bees but it wasn't bad.

Just an hour from the Twin Cities and located right on the scenic Great River Road, Villa Bellezza is one of those places that instantly transports you. The gorgeous patio feels like a little Italian escape, surrounded by beautiful architecture and vineyard views. We love stopping in for their $5 tasting in the tasting room--an incredible deal for sampling their wines made with Wisconsin and Minnesota grapes. There's also a great restaurant attached, perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch or dinner. Bonus: it's dog-friendly, so the whole crew can join! Whether you're out for a weekend adventure, a romantic day trip, or dreaming up the perfect wedding venue (this would be at the top of my list if I were doing it all again!), Villa Bellezza is a must-visit. Total gem!

We started our journey to Pepin Wisconsin to visit Villa Bellezza. Upon arrival we were greeted with a beautiful Italianate style villa. A courtyard with a fountain and string lights welcomed us. We entered the tasting room on a Friday afternoon at approximately 2:00 PM. We were the only ones there initially. We decided to do a winetasting right then in there. It was five dollars for three pours. If anybody knows about wine tastings that is an amazing price! I did the whites, and my husband chose the Reds. The wine tastings were going well, you get a little bag of crackers. Then people started to come into the tasting room to do tastings. We decided on the wines that we wanted to take with us. we chose two reds, and two whites. The total came to a little over $103.00 ( if you purchase I believe, three more bottles your wine tasting ends up being free)! Amazing deal! Here's where our visit went sideways. We did not check to see that we had the correct bottles,I've never had a problem. Once we got back to Milwaukee Wisconsin which is a four hour or so drive, we opened our wine box to put them away and we noticed that she had given us two wrong wines. They were all red. at this point needless to say I was very upset but just thought well there's nothing that we can do about it. I took a chance and called and talked to Haley about our mishap. I told her what wines that I fell in love with and I was so sad that they weren't in our box because there was a mix up. She put my mind to ease immediately. Told me she was going to take care of me and send those wines out to me in the next couple of days. I couldn't believe it! This is the best customer service I've ever received anywhere. Two days later I had my wine in my possession. Go visit this beautiful winery. Unfortunately right now the restaurant is not open which we were very sad about but totally understood. We can't wait to visit once again. their wines are amazing! Thank you to Haley for going above and beyond

Midweek relaxation with a pizza and wine on the patio. I was by myself and didn't feel alone since the outdoor server woman was so friendly. I was able to enjoy the weather and at the whole margarita pizza by myself.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning vineyard that's entirely unexpected as it just presents itself out of nowhere as you're driving along the road. In fact, it's one of the larger vineyards I've visited in Minnesota/Wisconsin and probably the most visually appealing. I can see why it's a favorite spot for bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, formal gatherings. $5 buys you 3 tastings and it's clearly a popular destination as we walked into a packed house on Saturday afternoon. We didn't have a problem getting 5 of us to the table and being served promptly though. I'm no wine connoisseur so I can't review based in quality of wines but this is a fun spot to take out of town friends or day trip to enjoy the local wineries in/around Lake Pepin. Ice wine (my fav) was out of season on this visit but I will make the trek back because this was such a nice experience.

We treated ourselves to Villa Bellezza Winery in Wisconsin. The Rigatoni was so delicious! And the beet salad yummy. Both of their wines were smooth and tasty. The grounds are gorgeous and here is a peek at their vines.

Okay first impressions of this place were great, we were greeted at the front door and told where we needed to go (because we accidentally came in the restaurant entrance). We walked over to the wine tasting section and were almost greeted immediately. The tasting experience was great, the lady at the counter explained the wines and gave additional detail about the villa. We ended up buying half a case of wine and decided to sit on the patio to enjoy our bottle of wine and order some food. There is where it all goes wrong! I ordered our food and was given a wait time of 30-45 mins... okay no big deal we're enjoying the wine and view. To be clear I ordered pasta that came with a side salad, this shouldn't have taken very long to make. An HOUR later I finally get my side salad! I ask the person what was taking so long and when our food would be coming out. She said they were just busy and the food should be out shortly. I looked around and couldn't understand why they were so busy, it wasn't that crazy outside. After another 30 minutes my patience was gone! I walked up to the counter and asked to cancel my order and for a refund. Not to my surprise the person in front of me was doing the same thing. The manager didn't even apologize or try to make it right with a discount on a future visit or anything. Extremely disappointed! I haven't been back since and it's a shame because their wine is good but their customer service leaves something to be desired.

Beautiful venue. I was here for a wedding and I loved the vineyard and how accessible it was for everyone. You can walk around and take beautiful photos. The vineyard is open to the public so there will be people walking around and they do host events for wine tasting, etc. Beautiful venue to consider for any event, especially weddings.

It was the worst wine I've ever tasted. I tried 4 reds and the color was unlike any red wine I've seen. It was murky and brown - totally unappetizing. The wine tasted old and very vinegary. I could barely choke it down. I searched for a dump bucket but there was none. I ate as many oyster crackers as I could, just to get the bad taste out of my mouth. I should have gotten 5 tastings with my Wine Passport but I didn't even care. I just wanted to get out of there! I would not recommend this place or their wine.

Mind you I walked in to purchase a single bottle to consume at the campground and left with three bottles. I just thought that she was (successfully) trying to boost sales. Bottom line... The person who I spoke to was very gracious about explaining the charge and offered to refund the $6 for the tasting. If I were to return to the same winery I would ask for a detailed receipt next time. And perhaps make a stronger attempt to stay within my budget.

There are tables and booths in the back portion of the location but there was a "private" party (who brought in their own food and wine?!) so we shared a high top in the front of the tasting room. We ordered flights of 5 wines ($9 each) and the deluxe cheese and crackers. I hate to say it- but all the wines we sampled were not good. The "Port Station" was the best of the 10 wines I sampled. It is a Frontenac grape and wasn't really a port, but it was dry and slightly more full bodied than anything else we sampled. Not really worth taking a bottle home. All the other wines tasted watered down and honestly, I don't think I've ever been to a winery (or anywhere that served wine) where it was served in plastic cups. All the flavors were pretty flat without much aroma and no finish. A few had a bitter taste. The deluxe cheese and crackers were pretty basic and not really worth ordering. The wines were such a bummer- which should be the reason you visit a winery.
