Stoney Creek Venue - A sweet suite

    Stoney Creek Venue

My daughter was getting married and had decided that she wanted a venue wedding. She picked out…read moremany places to look at to inspect and pick from. Our travels covered from Seguin to Blanco, to Twin Sisters, to Wimberly, to Boerne and every place in between. This was the one that she decided met her vision the best. This venue is new, and the owners have done a really nice job of preparing a wonderful place to have the ceremony. In fact, they were still working on the property at the time of our meeting and the next thing to be completed before her wedding was sleeping quarters for attendees. As the groom's family was coming here from Mississippi and New Jersey, it made a very nice place for them to stay without having to do a lot of driving. Additionally, the site also included a mancave, bridesmaid area, kitchen, dining hall, bar, and other things. In talking with the owner, he said that he was already planning to enlarge the dining/dancing area as he was limited to about 125 guests, which was about the amount of folks we had attend. My daughter and future husband were limited when they could get married due to his job. They had to fit the wedding in between the end of football season and before basketball playoffs. Add open dates for the venue, and we ended up with a January wedding. January in south Texas can be tricky. It can be 80+ degrees, or it can be 20. Thankfully, on her big day, it was the last beautiful day before a frigid cold front blew in. When your daughter is getting married, you want everything to be perfect. For the most part, that is what we got. The owners, officiant, the actual venue, food, DJ, bartender, and security were all exceptional. The only issue we had (and this kept this from being a 5-star review) was with the "day of coordinator". On the evening of the rehearsal, she called and pushed it back as she couldn't get there at the scheduled time (I think that is unacceptable as this was scheduled months in advance). I highly recommend this venue to consider for your wedding. It's a very nice place, and the owners are wonderful. With all the construction ideas they have planned, it will only get nicer.

Rev Lorelei officiated and gave a short non-denominational ceremony that was still thoughtful and heartfelt. We added the bouquet and boutonniere, and both were beautiful. We also did the sand ceremony add-on, which was a really nice touch. Small tip: have someone ready to hold the heart-shaped bottle during that part. My sister stepped in with no notice and absolutely saved us. Rain was in the forecast, and the team suggested clear umbrellas ahead of time, which was such a thoughtful recommendation and made for some really fun photos. The airstream in the back was also a great getting-ready space. I got to spend that time with my mom, sister, niece, and best friend, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day. The photographer was also fantastic and made the most of the weather and setting. Accessibility note: I have mobility issues and use a cane, and the venue was manageable for me with assistance. There are steps into the airstream and a couple of steps up into the chapel, but there is a banister, which helped a lot along with having someone assist me.

This was a re-marriage for us, and the ambiance and sweet ceremony will never be forgotten. Our first wedding was full of family and friends, and this time we just slipped away for an intimate ceremony in a beautifully appointed and terribly charming little chapel. A special memory we will treasure forever. Thank you Reverends Edward and Lorelei for the sweetest wedding experience we never expected! Don & Carol Boucher Blanchard, OK June 29, 2025

Yes we had to travel about 4 hours to use them but for a chance to get exactly what we pictured without the huge $$ (which that's why y'all built this company in the first place is to truly help people). Only true downside is some family members couldn't travel. That's how weddings go can't get everything to a T truly and that's okay. To every future bride of EE! please be keep in mind yes weddings are stressful regardless but also keep in mind how much these people are really trying to help you have the best day possible. Only giving you this message because I was worried over a few reviews. Yes it made me nervous but life is all about chances and yes I made the right choice and you can too. Reverend Rene Esparza You really enjoy what you do!! Just fantastic!! Gerry Olert You really caught the best of the best! Thank you so much. Emilio Zuniga You captured some of the most beautiful moments ever! Kari Esparza Thank you for being there for every moment I had an issue or worry. You were our first step to achieve our dream. Erin Rose Thank you much for the most beautiful like a dream flowers. Levonne You made my example cake come to life! Thank you so much! I couldn't remember the name of our Wedding Day organizer. I'm so sorry I couldn't figure it out. But regardless you made me feel the greatest on our special day! So full of care! Great Blessings to all at EE and all y'all's future weddings! Come to find out the restaurant does not offer wedding services. They claimed they could provide us with other options, but then tried to up charge us to provide the other options. We promptly asked for a refund from Everlasting Elopements after that. They said it would be 5-7 days to receive a refund of $1133 it has been well over a month and no refund. This is a major disappointment - people use services like Everlasting Elopements because they are on a budget, so when we are scammed out of such a large amount of money, it hurts.
