My husband and I went for a day date and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is great - really intimate, like you're visiting a friend's home. There's also outdoor seating but we stayed inside. The wine was delicious, from the dry to the dessert wines, ALL flavorful. But the very best part was chatting with the co-owner, David. It was like we were old friends picking up where we left off, except we just met! Cozy, inviting and in a cute part of Helotes. Hubby and I will make this a regular destination. We highly recommend Dawson's Creek Winery for casual relaxation but they also do events. We didn't try the charcuterie but will next time. Great place for a date, get together with a group or girls' outing. Go and enjoy!

They are all hard working.. if it wasn't him it was somebody else passing by offering services They have music outside. This place is so alive I didn't want to leave! The food is super good! From the pizza to the salad... everything fresh! The only downside is if you do not drink wine they do not have beer or any other alcohol. Regardless of that it was a memorable experience! Highly recommend

Something about the pictures I seen made me interested in going and the Italian food . What an amazing experience food was amazing as I ordered the meatballs Caprese salad and the margarita pizza . The most exciting part was to find out that the owners Sandra and her husband were from the bay area where I'm from and we're so nice and familiar to us and made us feel At home . She even offered next time to let her know if I was coming, she would show me around her vineyard . If I lived closer, I would definitely become a member as I hope to purchase more of this wine when I get back home

They had everything from California, down to chile, up to Washington, across to Spain & France, back to Chile. The format is pretty simple, they give you a paper and pen with all the options. If they do it again, def check it out. It's a unique experience. Make sure whoever is going in your group to sign up because they weren't doing any one-off pours for people not participating in the event.

The tables, vibe, personnel etc. are all wonderful. Everything about it is really great, except... As they are quick to point out, to the extreme of even having almost a "doorman" at the door to let you know before even entering: There's no grapes in this place, nor any wines made from grapes. It's all made from flowers and nectar. This company didn't invent this technique, but while they seem to do a good job at it, the wines, and I tried three different ones, just aren't my thing. The best one was a peach flavored one being served in a hot beverage on a chilly evening, which was nice, but had a lot of sugar in it, more of a hot toddy. Glasses of "straight up" wine on a subsequent visit just didn't do it for me. Bottom line, if you've got an open mind, definitely try this place. I'm glad I did, and again, it's a great place to meet up and relax, with a great atmosphere. Maybe the wines will appeal to you more than they did to me.

I've been to hot springs all over the world and this place needs to make some improvements to say the least. First there are 2 'suites' and it was really nice if you weren't directly next to the other suite. The people had on their speaker and it was so loud. Even if they had it lower you could still hear everything they said. We had a speaker too but we would just have competed with them. It was hard to relax especially cause we didn't like their music. And the tubs. Ughh. They were black and old. And nasty. The provided shower only had cold water so not much of a shower. No soap either. They advertised food but the only thing they had was cheese. The only positive was the lady that worked there. Super nice. We booked for early afternoon and late in the evening. We are canceling our evening appointment and losing $100 because it was too late to cancel. When you spend $100 for an hour you expect more. Really disappointed. Oh and they NEVER answer the phone. Tried to reach someone for 3 days and always get vm. Can't leave a message. So we are just not showing for our evening appointment.

The Orchard at Spring Branch is one of my favorite places on God's Green Earth. Why? Let me count…read morethe ways. 1.   Rick (The Owner, Founder, and probable CEO). 2.   Rick 3.   Rick But beyond the incredible hospitality, if you are also concerned about the property venue and how it presents on a wedding day, trust me here--the space is a breath of fresh Texas air. Incredibly stunning: complete with actual Longhorns (who posed in the background for our photos) and heirloom Texas Prickly Pear. Don't even get me started on the cost of wedding venues in Texas. Rick is reasonable. Read that--beauty on a budget. I'm not sure how long this will last since Rick is new to the wedding venue game. The only "issue" is that Rick loves first. People who love first and love well make decisions for brides that put the bride first. Not the business. I truly can not count all the ways he blessed my particular bride, because they wouldn't fit in a Yelp review, but what I can tell you is that if you have any need, please don't let him give it to you for free. That kind of man. Y'all, we need affordable wedding spaces that take your breath away. But, yes, we also need caring business owners who value the person above the place they represent. Rick represents his family, his business and his clients' needs beyond what is industry standard. Think, far beyond. Case in point: I actually had to remind him to cash my check! He was holding it until we got paid, and then I think he may have even forgotten we hadn't paid yet. Bless his heart! The following are actual quotes from our experience: "Didn't y'all already pay me the deposit?" Rick asked. "Yes, Rick. You held the check but it hasn't cashed. Thank you for working with us," I told him. "Oh. Okay. Let me check with my wife. She handles that." Rick is building and curating this space--one auction house and trade show at a time. I can't wait for you to see the lovely stained glass windows he just installed near the bridal suite. Speaking of which, the bridal suite is fit for a Queen. The Orchard was the first venue we toured for my bride. My bride had already toured multiple venue spaces before when her sister got married a few months prior. Everyone on our side of town agreed: this space was just as beautiful and more in line with homespun Texas/elegance core. Think twinkle lights at night with a dance floor built under the stars. A place for romance that becomes real on a very special night, where two souls knit together as one. I promise this can exist outside of a book. I've seen it with my own eyes. Please go tour here. Especially if you are looking for an expansive outdoor space. If your vibe is more formal, there is a climate controlled indoor dining hall where more sensitive guests can spend the evening. I'm sure, like us, you will tour other places. But, if you're also like us, you will do a complete 180 and high tail it back to the Orchard at Spring Branch. Thank you, Rick. You are a gem of a human. We are grateful beyond measure for your grace, your love and the beautiful sanctuary you've worked to create. May you continue to find joy in offering your utmost for His Highest. With deepest respect, Ally and Blake's Mama
