    Pugs having a blast!
    Greg F.

We really like this neighborhood dog park. There are two sides; one for small breeds and one for large breeds. There was plenty of parking available too. Initially, I was hesitant about taking our pugs to a dog park, but I mellowed out after the first visit. We had zero issues on this visit, and it seemed people were good about controlling their dogs and picking up after them. Our pups had a blast running around and playing with the other dogs. On a second visit, a male arrived with a dog and walking it on-leash. At first, I wondered why the dog was on a leash because the rules indicate the dogs need to be off-leash. Several minutes later, the male removed the leash, and the dog began to charge other dogs including ours. Since the male had the dog on a leash, the male clearly knew his dog was aggressive. After making immediate suggestions to the male to secure his dog, there were no further problems. However, it was somewhat traumatic for one of our pugs that was attacked. Just a reminder that some dogs, regardless of size with irresponsible owners, can be aggressive.

Best dog park in the area. Vila Borba is definitely the most popular and nicest dog park in the area. The park itself is pretty well maintained, has ample parking, and both sides are plenty big. If you're looking for a dog park that's always full of other dogs, this is the place to go. It's always packed, especially on weekends and weekday evenings. Another plus is they are plenty of benches so parents have a place to sit. There are water fountains and multiple bag dispensers. One thing to note is the park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance and they shut it down for a couple days any time it rains.

Dangerous person at the dog park.

I've been coming to this dog park since it was built. My dogs and my family have loved it for years . Yesterday 3-29-25, this man attacked me and my dog while in the large dog park play area. Be very careful of this dangerous person, as after he tried to fight me and kicked my dog with his knee and tried to use his leash to whip my dog. He didn't like the way our dogs were playing next to the water. Thank god to our neighbor friends there with me, as everyone asked him to leave. We were on the verge of calling the police. After the unsolicited drama, many of neighbors there told me that this is the same man that has been creating problems for a lot of residents here. I'm not sure if he is a resident but I am asking those in charge of the dog park here, to ban this dangerous out of control man. I have attached a photo of him so that you are aware . Please please be careful if you see him at the park. Stay away and if needed , call the authorities. I will be returning as we will not let a person like this ruin the dog park.

This is for the small dog side. We were on our way to San Diego, and needed a place for the dogs to do their business and stretch their legs. This was a great neighborhood park. All real grass, plenty of shade around the park. there was water available and plenty of poop bags. Also there's a public restroom and a lot of parking.

It is 98゚ out so I am going to make this review short. This dog park has been around for about one year and I pretty much just wanted to add it into Yelp so that people were aware that there is a dog park in Chino Hills. There are two dog parks here at this place. A small dogs park and a larger dogs park. They are separated by fences so that the larger and smaller dogs don't mix. This is a pretty typical dog park located in a very beautiful area in Chino Hills. I don't think there are any others in Chino Hills. I have brought my dog here in the past and most of The time the dogs have been pretty social and not very aggressive. Whenever an owner sees an aggressive dog then they have been pretty good about moving it out or putting a leash on it. Most people seem to come here in the early evenings and my experiences with this small dog park have been pretty good so far. This place is not very easy to find. It is located off of Pine and the 71 freeway. Make a right then make a left turn at Butterfield. Then make a quick right where the new homes are, then a left on the first street. You should see the park on your left.

Great park. One of our faves. Usually always a nice group of dogs there. Picture of Louie and Ted for attention.

We brought our 3 Shih Tzus here over Memorial Day weekend and met a friend with her two dogs. It's by a new housing community south of Pine Ave and west of Butterfield Ranch Road. This is the City's first "fenced off-leash" dog park. The dog park opens at 7:00AM. They are two play areas, one for Large Dogs and one for Small Dogs. Typical dog park rules apply here. You are limited to 3 dogs. There's a nice view and there are a few benches and tables here for the humans. Overall I think it's a decent park, but not enough shade when the sun starts coming up. There are a few umbrellas here and there. On the morning we were here, we noticed that not everyone watches their dog. There was so much poop everywhere. My husband couldn't take it anymore and decided to take the shovel and clean up everything himself so our dogs wouldn't get into it. There was a couple who brought in 3 dogs as well and one of them was a biter. She snapped at my friend's dog, at my dogs face as well as other people's dogs. The owners didn't even do anything about it. Anyway, other than that dog, we did meet some friendly dogs here too and had a good time. 65/100 Reviews for 2016

Still being up-kept even during quarantine and opens back up tomorrow 5/30/2020! :) Love taking my dog there to play and freely run around without having to worry about him. Also don't forget to bring your own water for your pup's because the fountains are closed!

I've never been to a dog park before, pretty cool place that's all fenced in. No other dogs were there when I was there, but I'll be back.

There are plenty of poop bags around the park and lots of parking spaces both in the lot and on the street.

From down the street, I could see a dog jumping onto another and pinning her down--it did not look like fun, innocent rough-housing. As soon as we walked up, this same dog was barking quite aggressively at mine and exhibited territorial behavior at the front gate. I did not feel comfortable, especially since his owner yelled at him several times from across the park with no success in recalling him (Tito or Titu?). When she walked up to pull him away from the gate I asked if he is a friendly or aggressive dog. She immediately said that he's young and has attacked another dog before--"it depends on the dog's personality." HUH? This is neither your private property nor your dog's to defend. It is a public dog park for dogs to play worry-free and meet friends. I was quite shocked at this and brought my dog over to the small dog side to run around by himself. It was quite a disappointment as my dog is very friendly and just wanted to expel some energy. Beware! Your dog may get attacked due this woman's failure to train her own dog.

There are two separate agility dog play yards one side for small dogs and one for large dogs. There is a huge grassy run between the dog play yards and the school... be careful though because it's like a mine field of gopher holes. It's a great place to take your dogs! We were visiting the Kellogg's West Conference Center for 4 days and brought our dog. This is not far from there. Glad we found it!!

Prado...what happened?…read more We used to love you so! We've camped here many times over the past few years, and it has been green and beautiful. However, this last trip was less than awesome, and we're so disappointed. First of all, unless you really like camping in the dirt, definitely avoid campsite 50. It's big and spacious, but your RV will be full of ants before you go to sleep, as the nearby trees are FULL of ant trails. If you don't already, make sure you use the DE or Borax powder on any potential entry point! The site itself is shady all day, but again, it comes at a cost. There are also tons of flies, gnats, and mosquitoes (they don't bother me, but they love my boyfriend!). A bug zapper helps, but the moment the sun goes down, it is ON! Those little effers are out in force! As for the dirt...well, we didn't realize that there are sites with concrete pads, and those without. This was our first time stepping out onto dirt from the RV instead of concrete, and it was awful. If we had been prepared, we might have been ok. Other sites have a pad and are surrounded by grass, but this one was just dirt. Upon scouting out the park in the evenings, we noticed that most of the camp area is full of totally brown/dead grass and dirt. So much so, that we asked the ranger the next day and she explained that they can't keep up with the maintenance of their irrigation systems because "people keep driving over the lines in the dark...and park where they're not supposed to"! She seemed upset about it, too, and explained that they can't enforce anything with citations, or warnings at all. She said maybe next year they'll catch up on it. Shrug. Anyway, we likely won't be back unless we can book a site that we already know has a concrete pad. Also, they upgraded the campground restrooms and showers, which were clean enough. However, it would have been so lovely if they could have included soap and soap dispensers in the restrooms! The only place I found a soap dispenser was in the RR near the marina...but...it was empty. Sigh. A disappointing trip all the way around, because the lake was closed due to an algae bloom the 3rd day we were there, so no fishing or peddle boats, either! The splash pad was a redeeming quality, because we had a blast with my granddaughter! Otherwise, this was a dud. Prado needs to get it together!
