Pretty solid dog park in a quaint area. I was able to walk along the track to get some movement in as my dog played with others. The land is large and split into two sections. One side for small dogs below 25lb and the other side for large dogs 25lb and above or 18 inches tall I believe. Around the dog park is also a play ground to the corner, there are also some public restrooms, and a large patch of grass area. There are plenty of poop bags around the park and lots of parking spaces both in the lot and on the street. After the dog park, I took my pup for a run around the neighborhood and there was a trail nearby but it got dark so I didn't explore it too much. Nicely paved roads all around the area if you want to take a stroll. The area is overall quiet and clean. The dog park gets pretty empty once the sun sets because there's not much light at the park and it gets a bit chilly so try to come before then. I came here at least 3 times and of all those times, this place is packed with lovely fur babies! Overall, great dog park. read more

We really like this neighborhood dog park. There are two sides; one for small breeds and one for large breeds. There was plenty of parking available too. Initially, I was hesitant about taking our pugs to a dog park, but I mellowed out after the first visit. We had zero issues on this visit, and it seemed people were good about controlling their dogs and picking up after them. Our pups had a blast running around and playing with the other dogs. On a second visit, a male arrived with a dog and walking it on-leash. At first, I wondered why the dog was on a leash because the rules indicate the dogs need to be off-leash. Several minutes later, the male removed the leash, and the dog began to charge other dogs including ours. Since the male had the dog on a leash, the male clearly knew his dog was aggressive. After making immediate suggestions to the male to secure his dog, there were no further problems. However, it was somewhat traumatic for one of our pugs that was attacked. Just a reminder that some dogs, regardless of size with irresponsible owners, can be aggressive. read more

I've been coming to this dog park since it was built. My dogs and my family have loved it for years . Yesterday 3-29-25, this man attacked me and my dog while in the large dog park play area. Be very careful of this dangerous person, as after he tried to fight me and kicked my dog with his knee and tried to use his leash to whip my dog. He didn't like the way our dogs were playing next to the water. Thank god to our neighbor friends there with me, as everyone asked him to leave. We were on the verge of calling the police. After the unsolicited drama, many of neighbors there told me that this is the same man that has been creating problems for a lot of residents here. I'm not sure if he is a resident but I am asking those in charge of the dog park here, to ban this dangerous out of control man. I have attached a photo of him so that you are aware . Best dog park in the area. Vila Borba is definitely the most popular and nicest dog park in the area. The park itself is pretty well maintained, has ample parking, and both sides are plenty big. If you're looking for a dog park that's always full of other dogs, this is the place to go. It's always packed, especially on weekends and weekday evenings. Another plus is they are plenty of benches so parents have a place to sit. There are water fountains and multiple bag dispensers. This dog park has been around for about one year and I pretty much just wanted to add it into Yelp so that people were aware that there is a dog park in Chino Hills. There are two dog parks here at this place. A small dogs park and a larger dogs park. They are separated by fences so that the larger and smaller dogs don't mix. This is a pretty typical dog park located in a very beautiful area in Chino Hills. I don't think there are any others in Chino Hills. I have brought my dog here in the past and most of The time the dogs have been pretty social and not very aggressive. Whenever an owner sees an aggressive dog then they have been pretty good about moving it out or putting a leash on it. Most people seem to come here in the early evenings and my experiences with this small dog park have been pretty good so far. This place is not very easy to find. It is located off of Pine and the 71 freeway. Make a right then make a left turn at Butterfield. Then make a quick right where the new homes are, then a left on the first street. This is my top5 dog parks. For my first timers, you'll have plenty of parking inside the park, street parking is available. They have 2 sections, large and small Before entering the playground, you'll have a divided section to take your dog off their leash. The area for them to roam I would say is big! I see people playing fetch with their dogs, enough space for them to get a good run in! Inside area has benches for those who worry if they don't have seating areas, they have water fountains and doggie bags in case you forget yours. This park is tucked away in a neighborhood and has a wonderful play structure and fenced dog park. Love that we can bring our babies and fur baby to play in one place. The park has a small lot but lots of street parking. There are also restrooms and a covered area with tables. We have had issues with the dog park being really busy, with dogs that are not always friendly. It just depends on when you go. The kids playground is never crowded. It is a smaller playground but it is definitely enough to keep my 2 and 4 yr old occupied for plenty of time. I stopped by Vila Borba on a Thursday afternoon with a desperate need to drain some of that puppy energy. The park is located in a residential neighborhood that rests against the hills - hence the gorgeous views of the mountain. The park is separated into two individual 'playgrounds' for both large and small dogs. This park definitely got the job done. The owners and dogs were all friendly, and the park was well maintained with complimentary poop bags, pooper scoopers, and even a shovel or two. There's a ton of parking and a great area with a playground for us humans. This is one of those spots that I would recommend for outdoor workouts (yoga, running, cartwheels, etc) since the grass is well maintained and the park has a pretty sweet vibe. read more

As with any dog parks, the owners need to take full responsibility of their animals and watch them at all times! Especially if your dog isn't the friendliest. A lady had her small dog in the large dog park, not sure why? But when my 110-pound friendly lab went over to greet her small dog, in a panic, she rushed over and grabbed my dog by his collar in an attempt to push him away from her dog. I'm not a fan of dog parks, but this one is pretty nice. The park is spacious and I like that it is fenced off between large dogs and small dogs. My German Shepard is an angle, not an aggressive bone in his body! I do not like it when little dogs are allowed to come up and instigate and yap in his face for no reason! There's always a war between people who like big dogs or little dogs, but it comes down to being responsible. I have owned both big dogs and little dogs. I never allow my little ones to run rampant instigating other dogs. Therefore, I really like that it is separated here because in reality, the little dogs are bullies, but if something happens, the big dog is always to blame. Anyways, it seems like most people here are responsible. I take my dog to the large park area and I literally follow him around the entire time. For the most part, he enjoys just running around exploring and on occasion, saying hi to new friends. I do notice that some people however, so not pick up after their dogs and some also do not even bother to see what their dog is doing. However, that is the minority. They have plenty of dog poop bags available so there is no reason to not pick up after your dog. So to those people, SHAME ON YOU! Regardless, I have enjoyed taking my dog here as most people were friendly and responsible with their dogs. I will take my dog here from time to time, but in general, I am not a fan of dog parks. However, if I picked a dog park, I would make this one of my go-to dog parks. I do wish however, that they had obstacle/exercise things available for dogs as with other dog parks. Instead they have a kids playground. Nothing wrong with that, but this is afterall, a dog park! Overall, a very clean dog park, but parking can get tight at busy times. The parking lot is pretty small and more parking is in the streets between the homes. They also hold events here. Such as for Halloween, there is a Halloween dog costume event. I went and it was just okay. I prefer the dog event Haute Dog Halloween in Long Beach. We brought our 3 Shih Tzus here over Memorial Day weekend and met a friend with her two dogs. It's by a new housing community south of Pine Ave and west of Butterfield Ranch Road. This is the City's first "fenced off-leash" dog park. The dog park opens at 7:00AM. They are two play areas, one for Large Dogs and one for Small Dogs. Typical dog park rules apply here. You are limited to 3 dogs. There's a nice view and there are a few benches and tables here for the humans. Overall I think it's a decent park, but not enough shade when the sun starts coming up. There are a few umbrellas here and there. On the morning we were here, we noticed that not everyone watches their dog. There was so much poop everywhere. My husband couldn't take it anymore and decided to take the shovel and clean up everything himself so our dogs wouldn't get into it. There was a couple who brought in 3 dogs as well and one of them was a biter. She snapped at my friend's dog, at my dogs face as well as other people's dogs. Such a shame that the "rules" for this park are inadequate. There are strollers, newborns, and toddlers running among 100 lb amped up dogs. Unfortunately it will probably take a tragedy before Chino Hills wakes up and puts an age restriction on the " large dog side". Yesterday there were a family of 5 with two toddlers EATING a picnic lunch at the bench with large Huskies lunging for their food. Nice place to bring your big boy for some exercise and leave with a lawsuit. Puppies under 4 months not allowed but newborn babies and toddlers are fine apparently. Love this dog park! The dog park is divided into two sections, one for small dogs and the other for big dogs, so you'll feel safe as long as you bring your dog to the right side of the park. It's always so clean here and green. You can definitely tell it is maintained well, and all the pet owners are so friendly here! There is a water fountain in the both sections as well to keep your dogs hydrated. Great place for your dogs to socialize and meet other dog owners. We found a new dog park in Chino today and I really love it. Our babies Romeo and Juliet had a blast. Before, I love going to Pantera dog park, but it's really getting boring and annoying in there. A few days ago a Chihuahua was eating those wood chips in our city dog park, and that's not good. Those wood chips also leaves a lot of splinters on our dogs fur. Not just that, there's more! *TIP: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT drink out of the water fountain! Great Danes tend to drink out of the higher/taller spouts lol! I have seen it myself! This dog park is by far one of my favorites in the Chino Hills area! The large dog area is bigger and gives my dog plenty of space to run and play. The small dog area, or should I say the LOUD area (lol), is also a pretty good size. This park overlooks a nice view and since it is at a higher elevation, we always catch a nice breeze when visiting. There are also a few benches scattered in both areas -- some with umbrellas for some nice shade on a sunny day. What I really like about this park is that it is heavily maintained. The grass is always cut and there are no pot holes from any digging. I also like how there are no trees around the dog areas because big tree roots tend to leave big bumps on the field. There may be some older toys that were left laying around, but they do come in handy when you want your dog to fetch for something. Another plus is that the dog owners here are pretty good with picking up after their dog. *Parking: Sort of small, but will usually have spots open except on a busy day -- street parking is always available. read more

Our favorite dog park! Even though it's a drive for us, my boyfriend and I try to take our dog here every weekend. We usually come on Sundays in the late afternoon and there is always a good amount of dogs here to socialize with. It can get fairly crowded sometimes, but fortunately there's plenty of space. The dog park is located within a small residential park in the hills. You can get some nice scenic views up here. The dog park is split into two sides for different sized dogs and both sides are spacious and green. The park management does a good job of managing the landscape and dog owners are mostly good about picking up after their dogs. The dog owners we've met on the small dog side are usually friendly and mindful of their dogs. Filled doggy bag dispensers, water fountains, and plenty of toys lying around earn bonus points from me. There are benches and picnic tables for seating, but I wish there was a bit more shade during those hot sunny days. The canopies on the benches are definitely too small. Vila Borba Dog Park has everything I want in a dog park: a well-maintained and spacious play area, friendly and mindful dog owners, and great amenities. We will keep returning! read more

This is my go-to dog park. The area is well maintained, and I haven't had any trouble with the dogs that come here, unlike pantera park. Winds are high here because of the surrounding hills, recommend to bring a jacket on colder days. But the weather has been great these past summer days. This park is lots of fun for dogs! The park is fenced so that the dogs can play in an enclosed space. The park is not very large, (each area is a few hundred feet in diameter) but it's more than enough for the dogs to run around as they please and socialize. There is a dog-friendly water fountain, trash cans, and poop bags. Great amenities. The other dog owners are always very courteous too. Whenever I come, there are usually a few dogs hanging out, so my dog gets to socialize. The dog park is split in to two separated areas, one for 25 lb and under and one for over 25 lb. The gate has a "decontamination chamber" area so that dogs can't run out even if people open the gate. There are benches and tables for the doggy parents (people). The Dog park is two sided 1 side for small dogs approx 25lbs & under & the other side for large dogs. Both sides are large and have some benches with minimal shade umbrellas and a picnic table. The people are usually really friendly as long as you are in control of your dog and it is not overly aggressive . If your dog has not been spayed or neutered you can expect others to attempt to dominate them more frequently. If you're looking for a nice park with some great views, this is the place for you! But if you're looking for a good park for your dog, i.e. a dog park, you should probably look elsewhere. There's nothing wrong with the dogs here but most of their owners are more often than not giant sacks of shit. I came here every other day for a few weeks and there were always more people than dogs... usually standing in the middle of the park getting in the way of the pups, likely comparing dick sizes and/or taking selfies. You're bound to always run into one dog owner who has no business owning a dog. This is going to be a poorly socialized pup who is aggressive to others and whose owner is too oblivious to know when it's time to stop being a safety risk and to head home. You'll occasionally see an owner who doesn't pick up after their dog too... in an enclosed area with others around. read more

It's great that there is a dog park in Chino Hills! We recently took our labradoodle to this dog park and he had a great time!! The dog park is split into two areas, one area is for smaller dogs (25lbs and smaller) and the other area is for larger dogs (25lbs and heavier). Our pup played in the large dog area. When we arrived there were about 6 other dogs playing. All of the dogs were friendly! It was our dogs first time there, so I was a bit nervous for him to go. We love this dog park! It has a good amount of grass and the people we've encountered are friendly and typically pick up after their pets. When the park gets a bit more crowded, there are some who do not watch their dogs and poop is left here and there. Unfortunately, it's inevitable at all dog parks. Regardless, I'll keep coming back for the great socialization that my puppy gets. Side tips: If your dog is even slightly aggressive...they don't belong at a dog park. Found this park because Harvey was getting antsy in the car; I am so happy I found it! Located in an up and coming neighborhood (I should get paid for endorsing lol) it has a beautiful area strictly for dogs to run and play. However, I personally like to take my dog around the neighborhood itself - they have a walking trail with plenty of doggie bag dispensers that loops around. It's a great long walk for Harvey and some good cardio for me too due to a few inclined streets. The park itself has a small parking area and a playground for kids. This used to be my favorite dog park... we used to live down the street so you can say we were regulars here.. but due to a recent event we will no longer bring our dog here. So yesterday Marley was attacked @chdogpark by a husky. Apparently his owner which is this female here, thought it'd be a good idea to take her overgrown husky into the small dog park. Marley is fairly small and was tossed in the air by this dog. Got a laceration on the ear. Thank God theres no nerve damage as hes able to move it and thank God it did not cut through. Nonetheless I'm extremely upset with the lack of "common sense" some people have. As you slide through the pictures you'll see pictures of the owner, the husky, and her translator. They tried turning the story around and making it seen like Marley attacked him before the husky defended himself but had no visual evidence to validate that claim. So look out fellow dog owners. You never see it coming... btw Marley was a regular to this park up until recently because we relocated... he never had an issue remotely close to this... he was simply just trying to greet the dog and play with him.... that dog shouldve never went into the small dog section because he is well over the weight max. I feel like my decision came not because of my experience but because within the time of coming here I've seen a number of attacks as well as heard of some at this dog park. It's sad... you just never expect to deal with this but when you do it's just the saddest thing. This couldve been avoided but some owners are in denial as into what their dogs are capable of and I'm over it. I know damn well when my dog is not feeling something and anyone who knows me knows that the first sign of bad behavior coming from my dog means he will be right next to me on his leash as punishment until he calms down...full grown huskys are just not meant for small dog sections... read more
