A few obstacles for jumping and climbing and a bench for humans
    Nicole N.

They were thoughtful enough to separate the park into two areas, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. But be sure to check that all your dog's shots are in order before taking them to any dog park or public area. In the afternoons the paw park can get pretty busy, so make sure that your dog is comfortable around all those people and other dogs before letting them off the leash. It's a very cute little dog park for your fury companion to get exercise and socialization so long as they have a strong immune system. Parking is limited, so if you live nearby it might be best to walk there and back. This park had a parvo scare and while an investigation supposedly concluded that the puppy contracted parvo elsewhere, I don't know how I feel knowing that a dog with parvo was there and now the park is reopened. But I like to walk by even without my dog.

Nice little park with two separate sections: small and large dogs. -under 25 lbs : small side -over 25 lbs: large side It is clean, has doggie bag dispensers, a little bit of shade, small benches, and obstacles. Parking is really limited on street and residential area is off limits too. My pup loved it here.. nice addition to the city.

This is located inside the Phillips Ranch Park. There are 2 separate areas for Large and Small dogs. There are a few trees inside each area but they're not fully grown yet since they're newly planted. There is also a bench for people to sit inside. Overall, cute space for dogs but slightly smaller than other dog parks.

The dog park is very new with great agility equipments although it's small in size. Stocked with plenty of poop bags in both the big and small dog areas. The park is Lcated next to a kids playground with new housing developments literally a few feet away. It was noisy with all the construction going on. We visited on a weekday and there was only one other dog around. Too bad that dog wasn't friendly at all and their owner didn't care to intervene.

I ended up coming here, because my usual dog park is closed and I wanted to try something different. This park is really nice! It's really clean, has a bunch of agility equipment, a water fountain inside, benches, poop bags available, and some shade. It's a pretty good size park, because I've seen some that are smaller. Only down side is no one was there when I went (late morning on a Thursday), but that just gave us more time to play on the agility equipment.

Decent little park with playground and dog park. Very little parking on the street especially when school lets out from the elementary school next door.

Nice clean park. Just few dogs, probably for the reason, stud male going around humping dogs.

Ask the Community - Phillips Paw Park

Is the park open does anyone know?

    Yes

Is there shade during the morning/early afternoon?

Yes, there are some younger, smaller trees within the fenced off dog park, but there are also bigger, much more mature trees surrounding. So some shade is usually available.

What are the hours it's opened?

Gosh, not sure, but I would recommend you go in morning, like I do. I went few times in the latter part of the day... too many doggies. I like dogs, it's my particular dog breed, she's not too crazy about being around too many dogs : (

I wish I read the review about the parvo scare before taking my dogs though, even though they are up to date with all immunizations.

There is a round about parking near the entrance with a moderate amount of parking spaces but if you go past that further in there are more parking available. The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.

Dog Incident Warning - Baldy View Dog…read morePark. Our dog was seriously injured during an incident on 02/25/26 at approximately 6-7pm at Baldy View Dog Park, Upland area, CA and required surgery for multiple bite wounds. One of the dogs involved appeared to be a white French bulldog named Lucy. I'm sharing this to raise awareness for other dog owners. Situations at dog parks can escalate very quickly, even when smaller dogs are involved, and even when owners are present. Update 3/3/26 I believe it's important to share what happened so others can stay aware and hopefully prevent similar incidents. There were two large brown dogs that appeared to be from the same family , along with another dog nearby. The dogs began surrounding our dog, and the situation quickly became tense. Shortly after, the small white French bulldog became involved and grabbed onto our dog as the group pushed her toward the fence. Unfortunately, it all happened very quickly and people were unable to separate them in time. Our dog, Milly, normally does well around other dogs, but in this situation she was outnumbered and seriously injured. A short time later, the same group of dogs reportedly became aggressive toward another dog, and the owners then left the park. I'm sharing this so other dog owners remain cautious and pay close attention to group behavior at dog parks. These situations can develop very quickly.
