They remodeled this dog park from the last time I was here. It was mainly dirt and there were no stair ways. Now there is new walk ways and the dog park has wooden chips which makes it a lot cleaner for the dogs and humans. Usually I keep hearing other dogs are aggressive and gang up on other dogs but every time I go with my dogs they are perfectly sociable and know how to behave and take care of themselves. (my dogs are sassy but nice) Usually a good time here!

*scratch scratch* *repeat* My poor poodle did not have such a great time here. The place is filled with wood chips which kept attaching to her hair and bothered her. Even after wiping her off, I still find random wood chips in her hair. It's like when you go to the beach and you leave with sand in all sorts of places you don't want it to be. Also this place looks like some type of prison... No shade. A couple of benches. And a whole lot of fencing. I probably won't be bringing my dog back here unless I know she's due for a bath of hair trim right after.

This is the first dog park I have ever taken my dogs to and I don't think I'd go anywhere else. It's quiet near the hills and a decent space for my huskies to run. I read other review's that a lot of people don't really care for the wood chips. To me this is way better than grass or dirt. They can run forever and I know that the loose wood chips aren't bothering their joints. Another plus is they always offer dog bags. The dispensers are always stocked and everyone I've encountered is respectful enough to clean up their pooches mess. If your not a local to this neighborhood (I'm not) give it a few weeks to learn the locals schedule and your doggies will have 10 times more fun with all the dogs that will come. Overall I love this park. Its very clean, locals are friendly, and its nothing but a good time when I visit.

    New shade finally!!

They reopened! Now with shade and extra benches. No more squatting at the edge of the fence under the trees! I like this dog bark because they have a separate area for big dogs. Though, compared to the "little dogs" here... mine are super tiny. Fit through the fence tiny... but MOST dogs here are well behaved and most of the owners are too. Only seen two incidents where a dog had to go for attacking another one... :( This place has no grass and is filled with wood chips. Good for dogs who like to dig dirt. Bad for long haired dogs because it gets stuck in them.

I like taking my pup here since it's woodchips and it's a little easy to clean her afterwards, but every weekend I've been there has only been 1-2 dogs in the small dog side which defeats the purpose of the park to me. I do really like the cleanliness and safety of the surrounding park and nearby hiking trails, and the dog area itself seems well maintained. I know it's hidden in the hills so it might be tough for some folks to know about it... May try to come in the mornings since I've heard those are peak hours rather than evenings. Overall it's a great park just seems a little empty.

This is one of my favorite dog parks as I'm a native Pomona/Diamond Bar resident. There are two areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both have adequate seating and shade. They each feature five benches and could easily sit 10 people. Two of those benches are under a canopy so you can get some shade. The areas are also 100% filled with wood chips, no grass/trees/bushes, etc. I'd rather have this than grass since it's easier to spot and clean up poop, it functions like a kitty litter. One of the main reasons I give this park 4 stars is because of the pet owner community. Everyone treats you like family and we all look forward to hanging out with everyone and their dogs. The place can get pretty packed from 4 PM until dark, usually when everyone gets off work.

This our 3rd time taking our pup, Mayer, to this park. Aside from the wood chips, we like it here. It's clean and there's a lot of room for everyone. There's a park for small and large dogs, which is nice. There's also water fountain AND they provide poop bags . Definitely a plus!

From down the street, I could see a dog jumping onto another and pinning her down--it did not look like fun, innocent rough-housing. As soon as we walked up, this same dog was barking quite aggressively at mine and exhibited territorial behavior at the front gate. I did not feel comfortable, especially since his owner yelled at him several times from across the park with no success in recalling him (Tito or Titu?). When she walked up to pull him away from the gate I asked if he is a friendly or aggressive dog. She immediately said that he's young and has attacked another dog before--"it depends on the dog's personality." HUH? This is neither your private property nor your dog's to defend. It is a public dog park for dogs to play worry-free and meet friends. I was quite shocked at this and brought my dog over to the small dog side to run around by himself. It was quite a disappointment as my dog is very friendly and just wanted to expel some energy. Beware! Your dog may get attacked due this woman's failure to train her own dog.

The grass is still green, there is plenty of poopy bags there and there is a few shaded spots for the humans to hang out in. After a few minutes, two other dogs showed up. Maybe I went too early on the weekend for this or maybe not too many people know about it yet. The dog owners I met were nice and I had no trouble asking if they're dogs were friendly enough to play with mine. There is also some hiking trails near by, be safe if you decide to do those and be prepared for dirt and bugs, and take some water with you. The small/medium dog side area is a bit on the small side. Just because we have smaller dogs doesn't mean that our dogs don't like to run the distance. There is only one/two benches available for people to sit on. There was also some poop around the area. The large side area (which I went too after the little dog left) had a lot more shade than the small/medium sized dog area. There is a HUGE tree there and lots of branches for dogs to pick up their sticks to play with. That area by the tree though seems to be a bit on the smelly side and big poops over there. **Keep your eyes out as you walk, there tends to be a lot of poop left over from previous visits. People really should learn to pick up after their dogs***** I would also recommend bringing your own water bowl. One fellow doggo owner told me that this location and the San Dimas location take turns closing for several months of the year to put in new grass and allow it to grow for the puppers.
