My significant other and I lived at liberty ridge for nearly a year and have not had a great…read moreexperience. The buildings are so old that you can hear pin drop in the apartment upstairs. The residents at liberty ridge do no care about what time it is, they're loud and inconsiderate to each other. There are no spots to park and no one picks up after their dogs, most likely because no one bothers to replace the garbage bags. Forget about getting your security deposit back, you won't. It's way too expensive for what you get. You go bankrupt for a 750sq feet apartment.

Where to start with Liberty Ridge... If you want to live with an authoritarian step parent who…read moremicromanages everything you do then you'll love it here! I moved in with my three daughters in February and have been controlled since moving in here. Their precious HOA is God here so if something is out of place you'll get a knock from Jim, the maintenance man! This dude will not stop stalking us. He has made several contact stops to micromanage us, including harassing my nanny while I'm at work. Their pool opened! Yay! But here's the catch; you can't have music, no drinks or food, no fun. They have a camera and on their notice made it VERY clear they're watching you. Super awesome! The final piece is they are threatening me for having a window air conditioner in my window. They want me to go drop $400 for an "approved" air conditioner instead of allowing me to use the free window one I got. You then get a 10 day obey or vacate notice if you use it. Thanks a lot Liberty Ridge! You've made this stay VERY awful, awkward and uncomfortable; everything home shouldn't be. So in conclusion, if you want to spend $1500 a month to be in solitary confinement, you'll love it here! *Update* you now can't have ANY POOL FLOATIES! Even when you're the only one in the pool! You will be threatened to be kicked out if you do! So this luxurious pool is a look don't touch kind of deal. If your kids like to climb trees that's not approved here, and they CUT THE TREES YOUR KIDS CLIMB DOWN! DO NOT MOVE HERE! *UPDATE* Apparently you are not able to use a public school bus stop that is going to this location if you don't continue to live here! Jim the maintenance man will NOT STOP HARASSING US! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! We don't even live here anymore and he STILL harasses us!!!

I contacted the front office each time and they blow me off. This is unacceptable..to fear for your safety at your own home is horrible. My lease is up and I am leaving. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

The pictures they give you for reference on the website do NOT look like what you're actually getting. It's not the great. They are really slow at repairing and doing maintenance, if they get around to doing it at all. The handyman (Steve) has yelled at my husband on multiple occasions for little to no reason. Our manager has changed twice since living here, and the prior one (Courtney) was RUDE. They say that living here is better because no one lives above or below you, but in all honesty, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors. The apartment complex next door is so run-down and I feel it attracts the wrong crowd. You're also living across from a high school that has events going on 24/7 so there's always heavy traffic morning, noon, and night. Please save your money, and deposits and go elsewhere. They charge SO much for what you're getting, you could get a larger nicer place with more amenities for less than what they are charging here.

It wasn't so bad here when we first moved in - despite the fact that there wasn't even batteries in…read moreour smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector... we didn't find out for weeks later; our garbage disposal was leaking from the day we moved in; mold in the bathroom (but I had to pay for someone to clean it); and the blinds were broken; carpet stained. But the rent was cheap. And that was what we needed. Flash forward a year and half... rent keeps increasing and the apartment is still falling apart. These used to be low income apartments - so they're structurally not sound and maintenence wise - were very much neglected. You can see it. Which would be fine, if the rent was still affordable. It's liveable.. but everything inside is old - blinds broken and falling off the walls; closet doors falling off the rails; shower rod fell and it took maintenence so long to replace it we just bought our own; cracks in the ceiling and walls; faulty weather stripping on our door so our heating bill is enormous; locks on doors breaking so we can't get into our apartment sometimes (even maintenence had a hard time using their key to get in and had to wait for me to get home - WE NEED A NEW DOOR!); contractors came and chipped a bunch of paint off our building and left; the landscaping crew blowing debris onto our porch and inside our home (due to the weather stripping); bubbles in the carpets of the 2nd floor above cracking ceiling; the laundry room is expensive and filthy (with people often getting into fights over use of the washers and dryers) and appliances often breaking and flooding the floor; dog poop everywhere on the grounds but doesn't get cleaned up; random beer cans in the parking lot and used needles; abandoned furniture in dumpsters and all over the grounds; sketchy people from the movie theater coming into the complex in the middle of the night and snooping on people's porches to steal; so much noise from neighbors past quiet hours but nothing is ever done about complaints; and there's never a permanent maintenance person so everything just takes forever to get fixed. The pros: The neighbors are mostly friendly and nice (that's more than half the reason we stay here. The rest was the affordability); lots of kids here; management is nice enough; it's a convenient location but those are the only real pros. The cons are not worth the rent they're charging and it just getting so dirty here on top of that... We didn't mind all the things that were wrong when the rent was only $1300. When it raised to $1700 just 1 year later we had to just grin and bear it because of the crazy rental market But we've heard it's increasing to $2000 in the Fall. We really just want other people to be aware of everything that's wrong at Winton Woods because it is not worth that price. There are no real amenities here - we don't even have a maintenence person currently.. let alone a dishwasher, washer or dryer. The appliances are specific to only some units, but we have to pay the same amount in rent as other residents that do have the appliances ‍ Tons of people have moved out and onto better places. You can go next door to Silverdale and get all the luxury amenities for the same price as here. Fingers crossed we'll be next to leave It sucks here. It really does. We want to leave before they raise the rent again but they charge you an additional $2000 to break your lease on top of everything else.
