The grounds are beautiful providing a safe environment to walk our little dog. As impressive as this place is, it's the team of people who make it a great place to live. I can't say enough about Victoria and how she is always cheerful and patient helping new residents get settled in. The one time I put in a maintenance request Matt was here in less than 20 minutes, friendly and fixed the issues.

If you are new to the area, I recommend considering other apartments before signing here. I've…read morelived here for 8 months and management consistently fails to address issues raised by residents. While the property initially appears appealing because of its modern design and amenities, the level of service and follow-through does not match what is promised. When I moved from overseas to this area for military orders, I felt pressured to secure housing quickly. The leasing office offered a "first month free" promotion, which made the property seem like a great deal at the time. Since moving in, I've had ongoing issues with motion-sensor lighting in my laundry and shoe closets. Management stated this was a property-wide issue and that they were investigating a permanent solution, but there has been no visible progress and the same response is given when the issue is raised again. A pattern I've noticed is a shift of responsibility from management to residents. Utility costs are distributed in a way that includes empty units, with the reassurance that prices will drop once the property reaches full occupancy. However, the billing breakdown lacks transparency, making it difficult for residents to verify how costs are calculated. Residents are also expected to purchase and replace their own refrigerator water filters, which is surprising for a property marketed as a premium apartment community. The package room is advertised as secure, but the door is frequently faulty and does not lock properly. Trash costs are also variable and based on community volume, yet management does not appear to monitor oversized items like mattresses or furniture, which increases costs for all residents. The buildings look nice on the surface, but management and follow-through do not match the image presented during leasing. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I would have chosen a different property. Please manage your expectations before signing a lease here.

I lived at Crestwood apartments for 3 years and I can say it was a pleasant experience. The…read moreapartments themselves are extremely close to downtown shopping, two of the clear creek trail heads and the hospital. On the same block is a gas station and DELICIOUS Seabeck Pizza! The apartments do not offer a pool or gym, but I was close enough to gym at Crunch (prior to Covid) and that was actually within walking distance if I wanted to be fancy about it. They are extremely quiet considering how close to the road they are. The noise level from the occupants is quiet with very few disturbances in the years I lived there. The maintenance guy Ricky is fantastic. If anything ever breaks, or you have questions, he is there to help. The unit I lived in was older, so it was certainly not 'updated', but everything worked up to expectation. The other units had been updated. They do all digital everything, so you can pay your rent online and submit maintenance requests. We had the same grouping of neighbors in my building (plus or minus a few) for the entirety of my stay. This was nice, as you knew what to expect from them. It also showed me other people were happy to live there, as they did not move while I lived there. Is this the Ritz? No. Does it have AC? No. Did it work for the time I needed it? YES! I was able to live here comfortably for 3 years before I bought a house. At the time I rented it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the competition and they allow dogs. I had a patio that opened up right onto the grass. None of the other units had that, and my dogs loved being able to just walk outside with me. The non-refundable pet deposit is hefty, but I did get my regular deposit back in full. Leave the unit clean, follow the directions of the management team, and you also will get your deposit back. They were extremely clear of how they expected to find the unit upon our departure. I had only a few interactions with the management, but when I did reach out to Sandra she was prompt and courteous. I would absolutely recommend these apartments to people who NEED to live in Silverdale, people with dogs who need interim housing, or young couples. All-in-all a good apartment experience for me and my small family!

It wasn't so bad here when we first moved in - despite the fact that there wasn't even batteries in…read moreour smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector... we didn't find out for weeks later; our garbage disposal was leaking from the day we moved in; mold in the bathroom (but I had to pay for someone to clean it); and the blinds were broken; carpet stained. But the rent was cheap. And that was what we needed. Flash forward a year and half... rent keeps increasing and the apartment is still falling apart. These used to be low income apartments - so they're structurally not sound and maintenence wise - were very much neglected. You can see it. Which would be fine, if the rent was still affordable. It's liveable.. but everything inside is old - blinds broken and falling off the walls; closet doors falling off the rails; shower rod fell and it took maintenence so long to replace it we just bought our own; cracks in the ceiling and walls; faulty weather stripping on our door so our heating bill is enormous; locks on doors breaking so we can't get into our apartment sometimes (even maintenence had a hard time using their key to get in and had to wait for me to get home - WE NEED A NEW DOOR!); contractors came and chipped a bunch of paint off our building and left; the landscaping crew blowing debris onto our porch and inside our home (due to the weather stripping); bubbles in the carpets of the 2nd floor above cracking ceiling; the laundry room is expensive and filthy (with people often getting into fights over use of the washers and dryers) and appliances often breaking and flooding the floor; dog poop everywhere on the grounds but doesn't get cleaned up; random beer cans in the parking lot and used needles; abandoned furniture in dumpsters and all over the grounds; sketchy people from the movie theater coming into the complex in the middle of the night and snooping on people's porches to steal; so much noise from neighbors past quiet hours but nothing is ever done about complaints; and there's never a permanent maintenance person so everything just takes forever to get fixed. The pros: The neighbors are mostly friendly and nice (that's more than half the reason we stay here. The rest was the affordability); lots of kids here; management is nice enough; it's a convenient location but those are the only real pros. The cons are not worth the rent they're charging and it just getting so dirty here on top of that... We didn't mind all the things that were wrong when the rent was only $1300. When it raised to $1700 just 1 year later we had to just grin and bear it because of the crazy rental market But we've heard it's increasing to $2000 in the Fall. We really just want other people to be aware of everything that's wrong at Winton Woods because it is not worth that price. There are no real amenities here - we don't even have a maintenence person currently.. let alone a dishwasher, washer or dryer. The appliances are specific to only some units, but we have to pay the same amount in rent as other residents that do have the appliances ‍ Tons of people have moved out and onto better places. You can go next door to Silverdale and get all the luxury amenities for the same price as here. Fingers crossed we'll be next to leave It sucks here. It really does. We want to leave before they raise the rent again but they charge you an additional $2000 to break your lease on top of everything else.

For months, they ignored the rat problems we had at Ridgetop until rats literally ate through pipes and the ceilings. I guess taking legal action is the only way you'll get results with Avenue 5.

The full kitchen was fully stocked with most dishes, pots and pans included. I loved the fact that each apartment has a balcony and although mine faced the parking lot, I also had a corner unit in which I had a window that faced the nearby restaurant, bridge, and water. Each apartment also comes with comfortable furniture, tv's in the living room and bedroom, mobile air conditioner and fan. One of my favorite features was the faux fireplace with heat. The outside deck however was definitely my favorite place to be. It was gorgeous day or night and I especially loved hanging out with the various wildlife there. There was an abundance of seating areas, grills, and several fire pits. Inside there is a community room with sofas, tvs, tables, a kitchen and what I really like is that when those who have stayed here leaves, they'll bring down their extra things such as rice cookers, brita water jugs, various spices, flour, etc for those coming in to take as needed. I was able to snag a rice cooker, aloha shoyu bottle, flour and so much more and whatever excess I did have, I put down there for future users to take. Finally there is a community laundry room and a gym although the gym is pretty minimal and basic, it is still nice to have. If there is one thing that is left to be desired, it is the parking. There really isn't much parking for the apartments but there is some street parking. Still with everything else going for it, it really is a small price to pay. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for sure! Thank you to the staff there for such a wonderful stay!

There are three apartment buildings, an outdoor tennis court, "park like" settings and a multi-use room (with pool table,ping-pong table and sauna) that make up the property. A good mix of spacious single floor apartments and two-story loft type apartments. I have not experienced any extended problems with management or neighbors. A very diverse group of neighbors has emerged since I moved here. Long term residents mix well with military families in transition; retirees mix well with those still working and a few teens mix in with their younger siblings/neighbors pretty well. The few (truly few) issues that have come up we're taken care of immediately by our very capable managers Vickie and Virgil. The apartments are clean, sanitary and inviting. The small maintenance staff stays active with updating units (as people move in/out) and taking care of landscaping and general upkeep of the property. I will say that in the two years that I've lived here, it's been nice to see dumpster coverings being replaced when worn; pet waste sites established and the steps in front of my door have been swept and cleaned several times (unlike previous places I've lived). There always seems to be some sort of update going on without causing undue harm or inconvenience to the residents. A very "Chill" place to live, everyone seems to respect each other.
