These aren't luxury apartments. The draw is the view. From my living room, I can watch the tide come in, and see eagles fly to the trees, and once a doe in the parking lot. If you are okay with a few compromises, the view is worth it.
Regarding the other posted comments, there is a new manager that took over the facility a couple of months ago. New machines are now in the laundry facility, so that isn't an issue.
I also don't understand the "safety" comment. I've lived here a few months, and the handful of my neighbors I've met seem like fairly nice people. The parking are may seem a bit dark, but I'm sure that's because any additional light would take over people's living rooms.
I don't know about other units, but my kitchen is small with limited storage. If you are someone who likes to cook, then this may not be your best choice. Personally, I chose a view over a kitchen I'd like better.
There are often walkers and joggers on the street, and if you aren't used to seeing that many people, it does feel a bit odd at first.
These apartments are walkable to the waterfront, and it's a pleasant stroll. The best part is you don't have to worry about parking during festival time.
I never noticed the walls being thin, but perhaps I have quiet neighbors. I will hear people walking sometimes, but that's more of a listening to the floor move rather than through the walls.
So, if storage and a small kitchen isn't an issue, the only complaint I have is that I do seem to run out of hot water quicker than I'd expect. I don't have some luxury touches, but I'm not paying for it either.
This place isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm content. read more
