This review is a little late but I wanted to commend Jason Raymond who did another tree re-banding for my Lanternfly problem. He was thorough, professional and had a great way of using a staple gun to hold the tape around the trees. Since I started my Lanternfly service last year with Viking, between the banding, knockdown service, spraying the perimeter of my home and the tree trunk treatment, the Lanternfly problem I had, has diminished substantially. I see more dead Lanternflies then the ones that are alive. The ones that are alive will be dead shortly due to the treated sap in trees or the glue from bands! Thanks Viking. read more

We have had a host of insect problems since buying our home in 2017. Michael Lefebvre is wonderful. Each time he has been to our home he is courteous and friendly. He is knowledgeable and thorough, he takes his time to see where the insects are coming from instead of just laying random traps. Worst Company of any kind I've ever dealt with. In october of 2017 I cancelled the service after months of complaining that the job was not getting done. I complained to the tech, the sales manager and the office. All of my complaints fell on deaf ears. A month after I cancelled I got a bill for service that was not provided and after several phone calls they decided to fix the problem by sending the bill to a collection agency, I guess this is the new way to apologize for doing a poor job. After 3 phone calls over several months the bill has almost doubled with other fees. Save yourself time, aggravation and money as your pest problems will get worse with zero light at the end of the tunnel. read more

Generally, their service is good enough but they also put us as their last stop. This means that we are waiting around well past their window of time appointed to us. We can wait 5-6 hours for a house call. Then, we are told one thing and the service is not what has been described in the contract. Recently, we had to pay $539 extra for rat service since they don't cover rats in the way that we need our home serviced. It looked as if they had done nothing, When I called to complain to their supervisor, to have their service people return, my call went unanswered. I am very frustrated. I expected much more from them. We have been their clients for several years. The rat problem doesn't go away. We are confused since our neighbors do not have rat problems like we do. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Christian of the Saddle Brook Office. My problem was mice. He arrived promptly, was polite, friendly and so qualified to deal with the mice issue. He was thorough and spent as much time as necessary to find the locations mice could possibly be entering the house. He did what he had to do to eliminate the mice problem. The next day there was no evidence of mice visiting inside. He will return next week to check on things. I am confident he will follow through just as he did on the first visit. We have been using Viking for years and are overall happy with the service, though it definitely depends on the technician, their knowledge and experience. I will ask for Christian in the future for our quarterly service, carpenter ant service, or for any issue that comes up. Viking is luck to have him. read more

Then today i get another one asking to write a review with a link to google+. Can't leave a review on there without creating gmail account. Viking is awesome! I contracted with Viking because i had this bad bug problem. They sent an agent over within two hours of my call. The agent's name was Doug Campbell. At first i thought i was just meeting with a salesman to review my bug problem and discuss my options to deal with it. And that is exactly what happened. I started to think wow he is really intelligent and really know's his business. He was impeciblely dressed and incredibly well spoken and honest. He was so good i was confused when after we agreed on the best way to treat my problem and we filled out the work order he said give me a minute i need to go get my supplies. I really did not know what he had to get from his truck. I thought we filled out everything and he had given me a brochure so i thought what else could he be getting for me. And much to my surprise five minutes later Mr. Campbell came back in wearing his pure white and Mr. Clean clean work coveralls. Mr. Campbell immediately suggested i go down to the Starbucks in the center of town and grab myself a coffee. He said to me "I will be done before you return". I did as he suggested and i also stopped in the corner store and bought The Sunday New York Times. When i returned Mr. Campbell was waiting in his company vehicle. We discussed how things went and Mr. Campbell told me he even used his shop vac to clean up the dead bugs in the sliding glass door tracks before he did his treatment to my house. I thought wow that was awesome i hate doing that myself. And now it has been five weeks and i still have not seen any more bugs, dead or alive!! Way to go Doug!!! I contacted Viking in June of this year because of a mice problem. I met with the initial sales person and he explained to me what they will do. I decided to try them out and signed for one year. They came and put out bait traps throughout the house and outside . They came again and baited the traps that showed either empty or bait chewed. The last two weeks I called because it seemed the mouse problem was worse. Mouse droppings all through the kitchen cabinets , laundry room in the ceiling tiled. Last week the technician came and said a supervisor would contact me. No one contacted me. Two days ago I bought mouse traps and caught two mice. Why would I keep Viking when I have to spend money and catch my own. I called today to cancel and was told a manager would call. No one called me. I guess they don't care about their clients. they can help you to get rid of basic problems, but their annual contracts are not worth it. You charged close to $500 for the guy showing up four times a year for 5 minutes max, doing nothing. I told them several times not to send anyone without scheduling with the tenants, at no avail. Cancelling is not easy or convenient. When i ask a rep whether she realize that service is not convenient to me, she simply said YES. Wonder who it would make want to come back ever? read more

I discovered I had an ant problem on a Thursday and there was a technician at my house the next day. Mike M was great. Very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. I wish there was a zero star rating. I am baffled at the ineffective serviced we received. I called two weeks after to cancel my membership and guess what? I receive a bill! I call to find out why and they claim I didn't cancel it. The staff there is incompetent. The representative was basically arguing with me and mocking. She transferred me to her boss (a gentleman) who literally screamed at me and hung up. I got 6 mice on my very own with my own traps that I purchased at Home Depot. Why in the world would I pay for Viking services when 1 - they didn't work 2 - the mice didn't go anywhere near their baits 3 - they clearly don't do their job - especially since I called to cancel and clearly no one did what I requested. My suggestion to you is, go with a company that values their customers and aims to have the best customer service and not an owner who screams at clients. Also, just do the job yourself and save yourself the money and headache. Viking Pest Control are crooks. read more

Had service scheduled for October 27th. Found a Service Report by the front door which we found interesting as we have traps in our basement and attic. A review of the report showed the following comment: "Customer was not home exterior serviced only. Side gates were locked only treat front of home." At the time he shows as time in - 7:24AM there were 5 adults home and the gates on both sides of our house do not have locks. His comments were outright lies. Compounding his deceit he did not park in our driveway but on the grass fronting the sidewalk. In his urgency to leave before we realized he was here he tore up three feet of the grass. Being as the Viking employee could lie so totally about his inability and lack of desire to provide the service we paid for; it makes us wonder what else Viking employees are lying about.
