I bought one piece of furniture and promised myself not to go out my the way to go their sales. Today, my relatives asked me to bring them to the sale in Dover. We observed a bunch of people coming down the driveway empty handed as we were going up the driveway. Prices were skyrocteting on their last day and 1.30 hours before closing. For example, a microwave marked $50, final price: 40.00 firm. Other items would be slightly discounted depending on how many things you bought. We ended up leaving empty handed too. The major reason was customer service. Staff was irritable, followed you all over and I was scolded for not knowing that a set of queen sheets would not be mine unless I bought bedspread, pillow covers, etc. Where was that explicit? The woman said "excuse me! you need to buy everything or nothing" No, because the sheets were okay, the rest was ugly!. Your sales could be better, have less merchandise left over if you make people feel welcomed to your sales, be reasonable with your "used" merchandise for sale as other Estate Sales owners do. I am not planning on wasting my time going to your sales unless I hear that there is significan improvement, a comfort level and welcoming environment for me to do business with you. Thanks

We had expected it to appraise for at least $7,000 more considering three other townhouses on my street (same specs as my house) sold in the last four months for $20,000-28,000 more than what I paid. One of them even sold and then two months later sold again for higher than they bought it for! He came in and did a completely inaccurate job. Saying that my house lost value in the year since I bought it. He wrote that my house had no porch (which it clearly does, right on the front of the house. When we challenged his appraisal, and found plenty of same specs comps (showing the $20,000-28,000 increases sale price)I was told that this guy is known for doing this. He refused to budge on the price and insisted that it was worth less than when I bought it, which just makes no sense in this market. Don't work with this guy if you can avoid it, he will ruin your refinance or the sale of your house by saying it's not worth the sale price.
