Before finding Dallas Palms I was disappointed when I saw wedding venues that didn't offer anything besides the venue. You had to rent tables, linens, and find a caterer all on your own. Dallas Palms truly has it all! Cathy was our wedding coordinator and helped us with whatever we needed. The other staff was friendly and helpful as well. Dallas Palms can help you with pretty much anything you need. For example they helped us look for DJ's, mariachi bands, set up the venue, and make the boutiques/boutineers. They provided the tables/chairs, linens, and silverware. (and I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting) There are many unique things that the Dallas Palms can offer you, but one of my favorite things they did was our dessert bar. We didn't want a traditional wedding cake and this was something different they could offer. The bar was full of ice cream with toppings, an assortment of cookies and cupcakes. It was so fun and guests loved that they could have something sweet whenever they wanted. I hope you have a great experience like we did and give this place a chance! Thank you Cathy and anyone else that helped make our day so much fun and special.

I reached out to Dallas Palms via email on April 10, 2025, to share our concerns privately. As of…read moreApril 22, there has been no response, so I am posting this review to help inform other couples. We held our wedding on March 29, 2025, with over 500 guests, including many who traveled from out of state and internationally. While the celebration was memorable in many ways, it was due largely to the hard work of our family and the patience of our guests. Unfortunately, there were several issues with the venue that significantly impacted our experience. * Venue Access: We were promised full use of the Bellaire room, but only received access to half due to construction. We were not made aware of the final changes until the day of the event. This impacted layout and vendor setup, leading to unexpected additional costs. * Power Accessibility: Several electrical outlets were not functioning, creating complications for our vendors. * Restroom Conditions: Restrooms were not cleaned or maintained during the event and lacked hot water. Multiple guests brought this to our attention. * Weather Contingency: A tent was discussed in early planning as a complimentary option in the event of rain. We were later told--one day before the wedding--that it would cost $10,000 and had to be arranged a week in advance. Unfortunately, it rained during the event, and no coverage was provided. * Safety Concerns: During the rainstorm, staff began mopping the floors while guests sought shelter, and no wet floor signs were posted. This created safety concerns. * Seating Plan Issues: A detailed seating chart and layout were sent via email and reviewed during our walkthrough. On the wedding day, the plan was not followed. When we asked for clarification, the coordinator - Cathy, said she never received it, despite email confirmation on March 11th. * A/V Services: We paid $811 for six TVs to display our short film and seating plan. The TVs were non-functional during the event, and the on-site technician was not present. We were informed for the first time that our external DJ was expected to manage the venue's equipment, which was not part of the agreement. * Security and Staffing: We were told there would be two security officers, but only one was present. Several tables, including key family seating, were missing. The day-of coordinator, Cathy - was unavailable at critical times, and our family had to step in to support logistics during the storm. We paid over $35,000 and took many steps to confirm details in advance, including sending a comprehensive planning booklet and email follow-ups. Despite that, the event day was marked by disorganization and unfulfilled commitments. Our wedding was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We had hoped for a smooth and professional experience. I'm sharing this review so others can make informed decisions when selecting a venue for such an important occasion. (Please check Google Reviews if you'd like to see supporting videos)

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for their wedding or special event…read more From the very beginning, communication was a constant struggle. I routinely had to follow up multiple times just to receive responses, and many employees seemed unable to answer basic questions & two times was provided with wrong information. It often took days or weeks to get accurate information, making the planning process far more stressful than it needed to be. The experience became even worse on my wedding day. Despite being told numerous times that my wedding planner was the designated point of contact, the owner called me directly while I was preparing for my wedding to inform me that he was running late. During the call, people were screaming in the background, and when I politely reminded him to contact my wedding planner instead, he abruptly ended the conversation. When the dance floor was installed, I was shocked by what I saw. The subfloor was approximately five inches off the ground with nearly a foot of turf extending beyond the edges. It looked unfinished, unprofessional, and was a major eyesore in the middle of our wedding venue. This setup was never accurately described to us beforehand. When I expressed my concerns and asked whether anything could be done to improve the appearance, the owner rolled his eyes, became defensive, and made excuses rather than attempting to resolve the issue. I requested that the installation be taken apart, but was then presented with a waiver stating that if the dance floor came apart and someone was injured, the company would not be liable. Faced with that risk, I felt pressured to leave it in place. Unfortunately, my concerns proved valid. One of our guests tripped, fell flat on her face, and was forced to leave the wedding injured. After the event, I tried to give the company an opportunity to make things right. During a follow-up conversation, I was told that the behavior I described was unacceptable and that they would speak with the owner to investigate the situation And be in touch. However, after doing my own research, I discovered that the individual responsible for the issues throughout the process was actually the owner himself. I informed the company of this fact and have received no response since. It has now been over a week with complete silence. What should have been a joyful and stress-free experience became unnecessarily frustrating due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, dismissive customer service, and safety concerns. I rarely leave negative reviews, but couples deserve to know what they may be dealing with before trusting this company with one of the most important days of their lives.

5-Star Bartender Experience!…read more I HAVE to give a massive shoutout to the bartender, Stefany and her crew are Amaaazing, they were attentive, personable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Not only did they whip up some of the best cocktails I've ever had (seriously--try their Signature Paleta shots or unique cocktails but they also had an uncanny ability to read the room. Whether it was recommending the perfect drink based on your mood or sparking just the right amount of conversation, Stef made everyone feel like a regular. What stood out most? The vibe. There's a difference between someone who can make drinks and someone who creates an experience. Stefany does the latter. If you're looking for a place to unwind with great energy, impeccable drinks, and a bartender who elevates your entire night, look no further. Cheers to you, Stefany!

Nice spot for a birthday party!…read more Looks like this venue can accommodate weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, or any type celebration of your choosing! Ample parking even with potholes to deal with. I think the owners of the rental units are responsible for paving the property. Some serious repaving is desperately needed. There are many other wonderful units located within this particular area. Cigars, wines, Chinese food, and other wonderful spots! Well worth making a visit! However, this review is about this venue. I'll be back to visit the other spots because of their uniqueness! The decorations were wonderful! I think they were provided by the persons that booked the unit. They also had servers for food. However, I think that too was booked via the people that rented the venue. The napkins, which were cloth, were dirty and limp. Ugh! Those need to be replaced. Those were quite objectionably dirty! Same with the white table cloths. (Fake)flower arrangements were nice. They matched the decor for this setting. Chairs need serious updating/replacement or a good scrubbing. Bathrooms were clean and the toilets flushed. Lack of toilet paper was limited. As was hot water and soap. I was a guest. Would I rent here? Yes I would, if the price was right. The party I attended was fabulous! The party was flawless and they went way above and beyond for this party! February 2025

An Unforgettable Quinceañera at The Slate at II Creeks - September 6, 2025…read moreWe recently celebrated my daughter's quinceañera at The Slate at II Creeks in Richardson, TX, and it was truly a magical experience from start to finish! Luis and his staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their support throughout the planning process and on the day of the event made all the difference -- the food was amazing. We felt completely taken care of. The venue is absolutely stunning -- modern, clean, and flexible enough to accommodate both the ceremony and reception in one beautiful space. Our guests were blown away by the ambiance and flow of the evening. A huge thank you to DJ Larry Perez, who brought incredible energy to the party! His music had everyone dancing all night, and the surprise appearance from his robot and big head crew was a total crowd favorite. It made the night feel extra special and fun! My daughter had the time of her life, and we are still getting compliments from friends and family weeks later. If you're looking for a quinceañera venue in the DFW area, The Slate at II Creeks is the place to go. We can't recommend it enough!
