On the second job, they went above and beyond the initial scope of work to clean my entire driveway and add water abatement where they saw the need. Not only was the quality and workmanship superior, the customer service was unparalleled! Paul estimated the job and his team arrived on schedule, two days later. The crew worked 12 hours days in some cases and completed the job on time in spite of a rain delay. In fact, our mother fell in the yard while the crew was installing the roof. Paul made sure that she was safely in her home and able to mange for herself before leaving her alone. That concern for a quality product and type of customer care is PRICELESS!! Thank you Valley Roofing, we wouldn't think of using anyone else!! Renee

They did the roof on my house. I may as well flushed 7k down the toilet. The workers were 2…read morejuveniles and 1 adult, none of whom spoke English. I had broken and cracked sheathing which I pointed out before they started. They didn't replace any of the wood, just shingled over large gaps and rotten areas. The ridge vent looked like it was cut by a blind man, 6 inches wide down to 2 inches. They left the shingles overhanging 2 inches on the sides of the roof. They never touched the flashing over the garage. They nailed the aluminum trim from my siding into the roof at the end, ruining it. It wasn't nailed before and it's not supposed to be nailed. It all lifted up later. I paid extra to have the chimney cap repaired. The guy spent 20 minutes on that, just slathered new cement over the broken and cracked cap. The rain gutters were left jam packed with shingles, nails and debris. The owner seems nice but don't let this fool you. He acted like I was crazy when I questioned anything. They did end up replacing some of the broken sheathing after I complained. I believe they farmed out the work on my house although he claimed the adult had worked with him for years. All of the work done was shoddy and incompetent.

Tore off 3 layers of very old shingles, identified and repaired a few areas of bad decking, installed ice & water barrier around all the edges, new underlayment, new chimney flashing, and even installed a new bathroom exhaust vent for us. In the face of a bad stretch of winter weather, as soon as conditions would allow, they came out and got the job done cleanly, on time, and professionally. Great work all around, I would highly recommend, we are very happy with the final product. Some before and after photos attached.

If I am working with a contractor on something as important as a roof, I would expect that the…read morecompany care about the results and, if there are issues with their product later on, they would respond and care even more. Antonio felt as if he could bully, intimidate me into removing a negative review because I felt that he wasn't providing adequate service. I can attest to the fact that Antonio is NOT customer service oriented and should never interact with customers because his doing so will definitely hurt a company that really has good values, reputation and that is growing financially. As a result of Antonio's antics, I ended up writing negative reviews and even contacting the BBB to file a complaint. I thought that Antonio was the only person who could address the problem but was I so wrong. Robert contacted me on Friday, September 1, and I could tell that he was very concerned about what was happening with my roof and ceilings. He showed up on Saturday morning, with his crew, and he actually walked through my kitchen, upstairs bedroom and the attic space, reviewed the video and the photo's that were taken, and even did the water hose test. Very thorough because he actually cared and wanted to find out what the problem was. He listened to me, and for that alone, I was appreciative. He wasn't condescending, he was patient, kind and caring and thorough. He didn't treat me like I was an idiot simply because I was not a roofer. I even had to leave for a scheduled meeting and I was absolutely comfortable leaving him and his crew at my home with my kids, and of course my neighbor. He followed up, told me the next steps, scheduled the time and they showed up. No changes, now showing up when they wanted to, and a very detailed, step by step project. On Tuesday, two of his contractors showed up, and from the moment they met me, he knew my name and they were so polite, and clean, they knew their stuff. I didn't expect all that was done but after they cut through the roof, he showed me the water stains on the wood but everything was dry, then they replaced the ceiling in the kitchen and painted my entire ceiling. In addition, they went to my son's room and replaced the rotted wood wall panel that was molded, and painted it too! This was way more than I expected. Those two guys worked hard, and until they were finished. I tried to buy them lunch but they were so humble. We are praying that the leaks are all fixed (none so far) and, if anything does happen again, I know that I can reach our to Robert and He will be there! I will always contact Robert for any issues, new jobs or projects that I may have, even for my company as I am a property manager and will float their company around my company. Northland, please take this advice, Robert should be the face of the company. His customer service is outstanding and soothing. Our interaction on the phone and in person was so easy and pleasant that I almost forgot about the issues I had with Antonio. I can move on now, and trust Northland because of Robert and his crew. From me (Angel) and my kids, Alvin, Anika and Amora, You're the BEST, Robert! Thank you soooooo verrrrry muuuuch!
