One of my best friends learned to drive recently, and I went with her on her first out of town ride with her new car. We decided to go to Tagaytay so that she can get more hours and experience behind the wheel. She was still hesitant and nervous, and it took us forever to get to Tagaytay because she drove so slow. After what seemed to be hours sitting in the van, I was ready to get fed and watered. We were undecided on where to eat since Tagaytay has a lot of options, but our car uncannily chose for us: my friend released the clutch by accident and we stalled in front of Viewpoint. There is nothing remarkable about the food, but its good that they have a decent bulalo that can warm you up especially when there is a nippy breeze coming from the mountains nearby. A friend mentioned that Viewpoint is a usual hangout for bikers and adventure riders who go to Tagaytay to brave the hilly assaults. read more
