Small brisket/flank pho
Aimee S.

Best pho I have found in the Springs and I have been several places since my prior review. The broth was flavorful and had a beautiful deep color on this say. The meat is tender and plentiful even in the small. The limes and all the veggies were super fresh (so many places give dried up limes!). The beef spring rolls have a lot of flavor too.

We came for the razor clams! Actually, Viet's has a lot more seafood offerings than other Vietnamese/pho restaurants. Not that I was expecting fresh, live clams, but their grilled razor clams on a sizzling plate only looked and smelled great, photogenic, but was lacking the sweet, cooked-just-right seafood flavor. It was over grilled, touch, and chewy, and because they were probably frozen clams, they tasted fishy. At least it was grilled with butter brushed on top and served with scallions and dry onions, so the aroma was out of this world. Other stuff we got like the appetizer pancakes, combo pho, and combo vermicelli bowl were standard.

Pho and egg rolls

Authentic vietnamese food in COS :) We had the vietnamese egg rolls and pho. The egg rolls were amazing!!! They taste just as good as they look. The pho was also delicious. I thought the service was fine. The guys working seemed pretty nice and accommodating. I will def eat here again.

Beware of SCAMS! Take your receipt, or they may steal from you! I had dinner here with a friend, the total bill came to $38.6, I didn't take the receipt, a few days later I checked my credit card statement and the charge was $44.6! Its not about a few bucks, its about their dishonest practice. Just go somewhere else, their pho isn't even that good!

#36 on the menu with a wavy strand of black hair.

Picked up an order of 2 entrees and went home. Unfortunately, one of the boxes had a strand of wavy black hair. When I called, they were not answering the phone. It was 10 minutes before closing when I called. At other times, I ate at the restaurant, so this was my first pickup order. Overall, I'd rate this place 3 stars because the shrimp was overcooked at two separate visits, and the squid was rubbery and not fresh tasting. Meanwhile, my husband has had great experiences with entrees with beef.

Swung in here for a quick bite to eat and they had the menu in Vietnamese. Was able to get seated quickly. Simple restaurant set up, with tables and chairs. The server was helpful with recommending what to order and the food came out very quickly. Ended up ordering the Tu Qui Banh Hot (Special Plate Create your own rolls), Com Dec Biet (Special Rice Plate), and Bun Dac Diet (Grilled Shrimp, pork, beef, chicken & egg roll vermicelli Noodle Bowl. The Tu Qui Banh Hot is DIY summer rolls experience, and they bring out all the ingredients such as the noodles, protein options, veggies, the rice paper and the dipping sauce(fish sauce). The server did offer to teach us on how to make the rolls which was very helpful. It ending up being very filling for two people and it was a great experience to share with a friend or your partner. The Bun Dac Diet and Com Dec Biet was the best I had in the Springs thus far but we didn't dig into as we were full from the appetizer. Would recommend checking this place out.

I really liked this Vietnamese restaurant. This is what Colorado Springs needed. A good viet restaurant that doesn't just serve pho, rice plates, or noodle bowls. They have other Entrées like bun Bo hue and bun riue, and many more authentic Entrées. Service was good and our waiter did his best with a full restaurant. I really enjoyed our food here and look forward to trying other Entrées.

Example of the best.

We stopped by for lunch before heading back up to Denver and was craving Pho. Since this place has…read moreamazing ratings, we decided to check it out. Upon arrival, it was very crowded and very different from your typical pho restaurant. They played loud dance/house/techno music with lights flashing. The restaurant itself is small, probably has less than 15 tables. It took us awhile to get our water and for someone to take out order. We knew right away that our lunch experience will take a long time. We ordered spring rolls, their chicken wings naked, and their pho. I was not impressed with their spring rolls. It was all rice paper and was small. Didn't think it was worth the $8. Our pho broth itself was pretty decent but the meat that came with it was far and few. Don't expect to get a lot with your portion. My son left there hungry. If you want pho, I would try some other places. But if you want a little bit of everything, I suppose this is the right place to be. They had gyros, to wings, to pho.

I admit to being a Pho snob but this place did not disappoint. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were fresh and filled with crunchy veggies. Wasn't a huge fan of the peanut dipping sauce but the rolls were excellent. The rare steak Pho was the star of the show. It came out piping hot with lots of fresh veggies, lots of lime and homemade chili paste. The broth was very flavorful without being too fatty and the steak melted in your mouth. I may have found my new Pho spot and can't wait to try their wings! Also, the business partner/server Uriah was super friendly and service was top notch. TIp your servers extra this season. They work long hours to make us happy!

It comes with this sweet and savory brown sauce which makes the rice noodles actually have some flavor. The beef is has a nice bbq crisp to it that makes this a worthwhile appetizer. The Saigon Chicken Wings are massive wings with a nice light crispy outside. The sauce on the wings is got a sweetness to it that many will enjoy. The wings are so big you often have the inner part of the chicken wing unseasoned and flavorless due to the size and not having any of the breading or sauce to complement it. The reason I will be coming back is the bahn mi. I had the pork belly bahn mi and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The pork belly was crisp and fatty and the whole sandwich was a delight. Service was good even though there tends to be a lot of customers come dinner time. The tables are fine but they do have that slight stickiness to them. Price wise the entrees are very cheap compared to most restaurants. I will be coming back for another bahn mi and to try some pho.

Conveniently located next to a department store, we were glad to find an all you can eat hot pot…read morebefore entering the greater Colorado Springs. The Hot Spot seems to be under Vietnamese ownership, judging from the big Karaoke setup in the middle of the room and the surround music being Vietnamese songs. I'm sure this place becomes lively when there is a party and people take to their singing skills. But on this regular Saturday afternoon, it was not even half filled. Customers have a choice of ordering regular Vietnamese fares or be seated at a hot pot table to enjoy cooking your own food. One nice thing about The Hot Spot is that we weren't limited to 90 min or 2 hours. Could be because it was during a slow time. Food wise it was far from an elaborate hot pot experience. The broths don't have distinctive flavors from one another and there lacks a sauce station! Which is a signature hot pot spot! The meats, when brought out, especially the beef slices, tend to be on the darker hue, to me that signals less fresh. And the booth seats aren't the most comfortable. I think they make shift to turn the booth tables into hot pot compatible where the outlets are in the way of your knees (if you're tall and have long legs) or if short like me, the seats feel sunken. All in all, it was still a fun experience for AYCE hot pot, especially when not under time pressure and the staff is friendly albeit not the fastest.

Americans might feel the place isn't as fancy as other Asian places but you can tell by how many students and families frequent this place that it is really good food with generous portions- a great price, worth every penny! So if you park somewhere else, you could get stuck walking around the mall in the dark. Definitely park near the restaurant if you plan to eat there.
