So I took my coat in to get dry cleaned and sewn. I called a week from drop off which was written on my receipt card as the date to retrieve the dresses. First, there was a lot of yelling and confusion about how " THEY WILL CALL ME WHEN ITS DONE AND THEY SAID THAT!" But I had four dresses to pick up other the coat that needed sewing. So, then the owner called me back saying the dresses WERE ready but the person that does sewing still had the coat. That was fine, I waited. Today I get the call to collect my stuff. Not only is the coat not sewn but still has all the holes in the lining under the sleeve. They tackilly made some OTHER sewing decisions and sewed where there was no problem and in some weird haphazard way. It's bad work and looks bad. AND the coat smells like a smokers house. So I have spent $27 for the coat /$77 in total dollars for my coat to have no sewing, wrong sewing and to smell like nicotine trash. When I called back they were like well bring it back in "I don't mean to be rude but I don't know what to tell you." I said I don't have time to and will just sew it myself because clearly they don't care and don't know wtf. They called back a bunch of times after I hung up and so I blocked the number. TL,DR : Coat looks a permanent mess, Owner was not not helpful, Would give one star but at least everyone else was pleasant. Took in a peacoat. Was returned with what looked like dust or mold or food staining the collar. The employees said sorry, they were not sure what went wrong and they gave it another cleaning. Fantastic, no problem. The coat came back exactly the same. The owner came out to tell me that the reason I had these new visual mars was because the coat was old, though you couldn't see it beforehand the fabric had been worn down, there was nothing to do for it. This all made sense but why, when receiving a clearly old coat, would you not mention "Hey, this coat looks old. It may have some damage that you can't see and will become permanently noticeable if we run it through. You still want to do this?" This owner didn't seem to get my point. He instead showed me other areas that were damaged and kept trying to show me other people's clothes that have come back looking worse than when they went in and making some weirdo and non-applicable car analogies. Literally, doing the opposite of helping. If you can't run your business a little smarter you can at least say sorry when you make an item of clothing look like trash. But all the other employees were really great and I hope they all find jobs with a more competent owner some day. read more

I brought in my wedding dress over a month in advance to be spot cleaned and steamed, I was told the dress would be ready in 10 days. Of course the dress was ready a mere 5 days before the wedding, the dress was not spot cleaned whatsoever, and there was a brand new hole in the fabric of my dress. Vienna has refused to offer additional spot cleaning or repairs, they've refused to take responsibility for the hole they created in the dress, and both owners have berated me for asking for a refund. After two years of wearing my favorite wool coat, I finally decided to treat myself to getting it dry cleaned and de-pilled. I was disappointed by the lack of mask use by the employees when not directly helping customers, but I was happy to support a local business. When I dropped it off, I was asked if the trim was real leather, which I said it was not. It was then accepted, and I was told to come back a few days later. After I picked it up, I discovered the trim had been badly damaged in the process, and I asked if there was any way that they could repair it to prevent it from getting worse. I was told nothing could be done to repair it, that this always happens when fake leather is dry cleaned, and that all they could do was refund me my money. They should have told me this would happen up front, not after damaging a $200 coat. I would expect they would educate their customers, and I feel really let down. Id you use this cleaner, I would recommend doing your own research on what is safe to dry clean. Vienna cleaners is the best dry cleaner in Bellingham / Ferndale areas. They can also do hemming if you let them know how many inches you need off your pants. I had 3 suits and shirts that needed dry cleaning and 2 pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed... all in a hurry. I asked if they could get it done in 3 days and they said no problem. They then let me know a day later that all would be completed, including the hemming in 2 days. When I picked it up- all pieces were clean, pressed, and hemmed perfectly. I was referred to this cleaners as being the best in town; so I took a duvet, mattress cover and a few articles of clothing, including my favorite cashmere sweater. All came back well, except for cashmere sweater, which was badly damaged( holes !!) and beyond repair. I had a blue peacoat that had a button that snapped, a white peacoat with multiple stains, a hoodie I bought online that came with VERY tough stains that I tried washing with oxi-clean at least 5x, and a navy peacoat that was starting to pill. I dropped off one of my favorite sweaters here to be dry cleaned. I wasn't hopeful that they could get the sweater back to its former glory. I had packed it away for some time not knowing my cat decided to use it as a litter box prior to my moving. When I unpacked it I knew instantly. The ammonia was strong with this one. I took it to a cleaners in town before taking it to Vienna. When I got it back it was worse than when I sent it, figure that one out. When I picked up my sweater it was folded and packaged up neatly in plastic wrap. I took it out and smelled the sweater, but to my amazement it only smelled new. No ammonia smell at all, in fact I don't even remember which sleeve was the bad one. It smelled as if I just bought it. 5/5 will go again. read more

Really helpful, prompt service. I called on a Tuesday morning in a panic because I'd just tried on my wedding dress for our Friday wedding, and realized my dress was wrinkled and needed to be pressed. They said it usually took a week to process a wedding dress, but had mine done by Thursday morning!! It was such a huge relief that they were willing to do that. I offered to pay a "rush fee" but they didn't charge me any extra. After the wedding, I dropped my dress off for cleaning and they said it'd take up to 2 weeks, but in 3 days they called me and said it was ready for pick-up. I don't live in Bellingham but this shop was recommended to me by another business. They were very friendly and accommodating when we flew in for my daughters wedding. We dropped off a suit, 3 dresses, a child's suit, child's dress and a pair of slacks and three shirts!! Picked up Friday afternoon and all seemed great until that evening we realized we had NONE of the shirts!!! Oh and they are closed on Saturday and Sunday!! It was 90$ for the pressing and an additional 60$ to buy new shirts!! The response I got when I called Monday is "you should have checked". Not happy and no remorse for what was a mother of the brides nightmare! Next time, it'll be some place else and we'll never recommend this shop!!
