Literally cut my sons's hair and thenlaughed at him and said he looks funny. WTH! Totally unprofessional and unkind.

In the middle of Mclean, VA. Good service, nice lady's cut your hair at a reasonable cost.

I love my Vienna Barbershop and plan to use them always. Their price is reasonable and speed is perfect.

They are a little more than hit or miss. I have been 4 times. All 4 cuts have been acceptable but only one was great. My guess is you are not ever going to get poor quality here, it will normally be above "ok" and in the "good" zone. You can land great even depending on who is working. That said, nice place, with friendly people, cash only (no cards), and rarely is there a wait. read more

Today (9/21/2019) was not my first visit to this barber but likely the last. I had the middle-aged Asian gentleman at the booth closest to the cash register cut my hair. I was under two Alieve after an orthodontics visit. The cut proceeded quickly and eventless for the most part -- a simple two on the top, one on the side cut. He did not offer or do any fades or sideburns, which was a little unconventional from protocol. Towards the end, I felt a sting when he used a razor on the back. I was unsure if I was cut. He said nothing and proceeded to finish up. He then put some alcohol prep to wipe the back, including the area where it feels a bit burning now. I touched my back and did not see immediate blood. So I went on to give him a $20 bill and told him to keep the change. There was no thanks and no greetings as I walked out. It was not until the brunch when I found he indeed CUT me. What pisses me most was not the fact he made an accidental razor cut so far below where it needed be, but the simple fact that he could have acknowledged and apologized when he made the cut, when he wiped me with alcohol prep, or when he gladly received the cash payment. It is not the end of the world to just acknowledge a mistake and I wouldn't have to leave this review. But now words have been posted here. They need to earn a few more 5 stars to average out their rating. Again, it's not about a mistake, but how they handled it. I would have given a solid 3 or maybe 4 star for their skills for the price, but I'd rather not risk being cut with a razor again and definitely not this customer service attitude. read more

Their attention to detail and friendly service is top notch! It's a family owned spot and even having moved over 30 minutes away, I wouldn't go anywhere else to get a haircut. Hands down, the best!!! read more

I have gotten a hair cut from all the barbers, they are all equally amazing. Reasonably priced.

Went in November with my sons (2.5yo and 5yo) and my husband. Admittedly they don't have a lot of "covid precautions" in place besides masks, but even with all three of them we were only there for half an hour. They were so sweet to the kids, very quick and efficient. And the first place I've ever been that uses baby powder to help with the tiny hairs that make your neck itch. My older son proclaimed that he always wants to go back to this nice lady! Will definitely be back, happy to support a local business. read more

well let just say I won't be coming back. Just in case anyone wondering they talk really bad about you in viet. No respect

I've been going here since I moved here in 2006. I've tried others in the area but found this one a pretty decent barbershop for men haircuts. Yes they do cut kids hairs too as many families come here too that ai noticed. All the barbers are good, never had problems with any of the cuts. Overall can't go wrong. read more

Just moved to the area and found Vienna Barber on Yelp. Decided to give them a try. Was VERY PLEASED with the haircut that the lady barber gave me. Sorry, but can't remember her name. Her chair is in the corner farthest from the front door. She hooked me up e very nice fade, cut in a part line and used the straight razor at back of the neck and lined everything up around the edges. I always dread looking for the right barber whenever I move to some place new. This time, got it right the first time. I will be going to the same lady barber from now on as one of her regular customers. read more

She's a Butcher! She should be cutting meat and NOT cutting hair. Chair #3, Su gave me a terrible haircut. It was like I joined the military and received the haircut you get before basic training...no that's too good compared to the butcher, Su! Stay away. If you do go, get chair #1 or #2 but not #3. Save your hair!!! read more

Great little barber shop in a strip mall. I've used a few barbers at this location, and Mr. Ho is always does a great job. Price is a few bucks cheaper than other shops in the region. Highly recommended. read more

Decided to update this review after my haircut here this past weekend. Read my original review for the full skinny, but I have to say that while this is my go-to barber shop, I still can't raise it above four stars. Vienna Barbers (known to some as Mr. Ho's barber shop) is the best I've found in the area for those who like a good short manly haircut (Bieber types should probably go to their mom's hair salon). However, the experience can still be hit-or-miss sometimes. If you get Lee, she will give you the best high-and-tight of your life short of being on a military post. If you get Mr. Ho or Ms. Su, you'll still get a pretty good haircut. If you get any of the other random people who work there, especially the flamboyant little man who works the last chair at the end of the row opposite the entrance, your hair is in danger of looking like a mushroom cap when you exit. The last time I went, there was a brand-new person I had not seen before. Lee had quite a line of people waiting for her, so I decided to let the new lady cut my hair. Her name was Binh, I think. She actually did a great job. But -- she totally sliced my ear with the straight razor when putting the finishing touches on everything. She apologized, but I'm still not used to having blood drawn when I get a haircut. I'm thankful that this is one of the few barber shops that use a real straight razor. Those who get high-and-tights know that if you don't get it smooth, it's not as good, and you also are in danger of annoying ingrown hairs. So the experience won't prevent me from going back, but it's things like that and the inconsistency between the barbers that prevent me from 100-percent endorsing Vienna Barbers as a five-star shop. One other annoyance -- CASH ONLY. read more

Very humble and nice group of people , that actually cuts my hair the way I want it ~ The only downside is that they only accept cash but no biggie. read more

Mr Ho, especially is great. Hope their open during as they definitely are an essential business -- certainly more essential than politicians

One of the best haircuts I have ever had! Hot towel too! Ask for Mr. Ho. I thin you can spent a lot of money on a haircut, but for men, it typically is the same. Vienna Barbers is just as good at a $50 haircut at a $15 price. These folks are also just good people. read more

I've been going to Mr. Ho's shop since I moved to Vienna 17 years ago. He gave my son his first haircut and I can say they made that a wonderful and memorable experience. He and all his team do a great job. The pandemic was no friend to their business so if you want to get a great haircut and do good by a local business that has been a long time fixture in our community, go there. Keep up the great work Mr. Ho and team! read more

I stopped in on a Sunday morning and I was able to get into a chair immediately upon arrival. But that is not what I like about this place. I like that it is only $16 for a haircut, but I like how the barbers really listen to what you want versus giving you what they think they like. I have been to barbers where I ask to only trip my tips and they proceed to trim over 1/2 inch from my hair. I like how there are mirrors in the front of you so you can always see what your barber is doing to your hair. It is located in a little shopping center and there are some good places to eat as soon as you get your hair done. read more

Each of the barbers at Vienna Barbers provides a great haircut. We live on Capitol Hill in DC and make the drive out to Vienna because this place is consistently that good. read more

I had a superb experience at Vienna barbers. I loved the haircut experience it was old school and easy. The barber understood what I wanted in no time and gave me one of the best haircuts I have gotten in a while. Also loved the warm foam and warm towel that they use. Cherry on the top- no one tried to cross sell haircare products ( i am looking at you @hair cuttery). read more

The shop staff are really nice. They try and do their best. I had some issues with the cut in the past so I now only use them a few times a year when I need a quick cleanup before a business trip and can't make it out to my normal shop in Loudoun even though I live in Vienna. If you're looking for a true fade don't expect them to be able to deliver that style a cut, yes they offer it but don't get too excited. read more

Today was my first visit having just moved to the area and I was impressed! My barber was fun and easy to make conversation with. She gave me a good and accurate cut, shaved my neck, and spent every bit of 3 minutes making sure I left with as few clippings stuck to my head as possible! She topped the whole thing off with a hot-towel massage on the neck and face and then used it to mop up any remaining clippings. No credit cards here, but who cares? Closest ATM is in the CVS one shopping center over. My cut set me back $14 and worth every penny of it. read more

I have come to VIENNA Barbers a few times and this time I'm making them my primary haircut stop. I got a horrible haircut yesterday and Joy corrected all the errors in an exceptionally detailed oriented manner. They also use a straight razor to perfection. Joy is exceptional and the other barbers are fantastic as well, meticulous and professional. Oh, and a haircut is $17, difficult to beat that. No more Sports Clips for me. read more

These are great barbers. They are very quick ship even if there is a wait you won't be there long. Don't let that deceive you, their cuts are still top quality. The price isn't too shabby either :) read more

Mr. Ho and his staff are the best. They will bend over backwards for you. I typically won't let barbers use a straight razor on me, but I trust them to use it without nicking me. FYI- cash only. Banks everywhere around though in case you forget. read more

I have had my hair cut by three different people here and all of them have done an exceptional job. I really like this place because it's affordable and the barbers/hairstylists are Asian so they aren't intimidated by my difficult hair! Also, they kept open pass the closing time to cut my hair. This place is the real. Good service, great skill and even better people! Get cut here! read more

The haircut was fine. I left the shop with several cuts on the front and back of my neck. The worst part, I watched the barber wipe the blood off of the razor and put it back on the counter. That is gross read more

Just got a haircut here by Phan. I asked for a medium fade on the sides and got one of the highest fades I have ever received. To be honest I don't think she knows the difference between a medium and a high fade. I also asked for a trim on the top. My hair was an inch long on the top and she made it one cm short. That is not a trim when you cut more than half of the length of my hair. Haircut was also done in ten minutes as if she was rushing to finish from the beginning even when the shop had no one waiting. Have to write this review due to the extremely misleading 4.5 star rating. I can't speak for the other barbers there. If you need a QUICK haircut this place may get the job done but other than that you might as well find someone/somewhere else. Had to share my experience to prevent others from making the same mistake. read more

I went there yesterday at 3pm figuring it would be dead. I got served right away. I really liked the lady that cut my hair. She gave me exactly what I asked without second guessing my wishes. She was precise, and did not rush me out the door. I'm totally going back. read more

I had recently moved to Vienna and was in a desperate need for a cut since my previous, amazing barber was too far away. Walking into Vienna Barbers, imagine my surprise when I saw her standing right there! Phan has been my barber for over 10 years and I was overjoyed when I saw that she was now working here. Knowing that even in a different environment, my cut from Phan would be perfect - and yes, going in with high expectations, it was. Always precise and looking awesome. read more

Great haircuts. Very attentive service. Been coming for years. Finally decided to let the world know about it. My barber is Binh.

Great haircut. Extremely professional and clean. Straight razor and hot towel to finish it off. Will return.

Went there for the first time. Asked for Mr. Ho, as per prior reviews. Note - my hair is easy - a simple cut. At the end, the cut was rather rough and uneven, and surprisingly one sideburn was 1/4" longer than the other - enough to be noticable. Now I 'm a simple guy in shorts and tee shirt, and there were a couple other guys waiting in suits, ties, shiny shoes, etc. Mr. Ho was chatting them up and maybe rushing a bit too fast with me so that the big business guys didnt have to wait any longer...... read more

I was in the area today and was in need of a haircut. Mr. Ho cut my hair himself. Got my usual medium skin fade and he did a great job. It's important to note that he took his time and did it right. If you're short on time and are used to quick haircuts, on or off base, military or not, this isn't the place to get a fade. With that being said, I was very satisfied. Took the razor to me as well and didn't ignore the neck. This barber shop provides shaves as well as haircuts. The best part about all of this is: I didn't have cash on me. This barbershop doesn't accept card, however the staff here are friendly and will direct you to the closest ATM which is just a few doors down in the plaza. 14 dollars for a straight razor skin fade. All in all, great place to get a haircut in the area. read more

I have been waiting to give this place a review until I had about a dozen haircuts! I have been getting haircuts at Vienna Barbers for about a year, and have gotten my hair cut by pretty much every barber in this establishment, both men and women, and they are all fantastic! On a regular haircut, they include warm shaving cream lather on the back of your neck in order to use a razor to give you a clean line on the back of your head, where your hair and skin come together. They also ensure to use that same warm shaving cream lather to shave off any unsightly "neck hair" on the back of your neck. They close out the hair cut with a nice hot towel. Sometimes you may be lucky enough to get a two hands-head massage too! But this is not always the case.....an added bonus as i see it. The weekends tend to be a little busy, but with 4 -5 barbers usually working, the wait time is not too bad (15-20 minutes on average). There are more than enough magazines and some newspapers available to occupy your time while you wait your turn to be serviced. There is a television set on the premises in the waiting area as well. They only take cash. Fantastic business establishment, great barbers and very nice and friendly people! read more

Losing faith in Vienna Barbers. My first haircut there was great, and then my second one was average but bearable, and my most recent one is not at all what I asked for. I simply asked for a very slight trim on the sides and little off the front. While cutting my hair the barber started doing her own thing and buzzed my sides down very low, and cut off the minority side of a side part leaving me with almost a faux hawk! Don't go anytime past 1pm or to the woman Phan in the 3-4th chair with glasses! As I said she doesn't know how to do fades and will over cut your hair. read more
