Four months later my mother passed away suddenly with no insurance or will, I used this service as well trying to keep everything in the family. At the time of signing the contract We explained to Alana that we would not be able to pay this until the house sold and probate was settled. They said no problem just keep us updated. Well the house took a bit to sell due the market situation currently and the place sent me to collections!!! They knew we didn't have the money for this due to losing both parents. AND probate doesn't settle for at least 180 days! They harassed me, didn't allow me to griEve.

They far exceeded my expectations and made this horrible time in our life so much easier. I could never thank them enough for being so kind and professional and making everything perfect for my sweet moma who we loved so dearly. The funeral director we worked with was Dale Morton and I truly felt like he was an angel sent my family to help us through this process I could truly never thank him enough for all he did for my mom and my family, we are beyond grateful. He and all staff were so receptive to every phone call, request and any changes we made and had more patience and grace with us than I could ever ask for. Dale and the entire staff were so kind and took the time so share stories and talk with me and my family through the planning process. I highly recommend working with him and Allnut in general. They were so wonderful to my family and my moms service was perfect in every way, I could never thank them enough. They honored every request we had and I will be forever grateful to have worked with Dale. I highly recommend them. Also we ended up live streaming her service with someone Dale recommended that works with Allnut and I was so happy we did, it was so wonderful for out of state people to watch and we received a copy of the service engraved and personalized for my mom. So glad to have that!

My grandmother, who lives in Windsor, was very sick. I live in California and heard Friday morning…read morethat she took a turn for the worse. I got the soonest flight, and as I was about to board the plane, I got word that my grandmother had passed. I just missed her. Because of this, I was immensely distraught and I felt like I had no closure. Saturday evening I found out that I could go view my grandmother's body. She was here at Mark's Funeral Home. Sunday morning, my uncle called and they said we could come immediately. I was fully expecting to see my grandmother in a medical setting, white walls, fluorescent lights, etc. However, this place goes above and beyond. Just for one person to come see their grandma, they put her on a hospital bed-type gurney covered with beautiful blankets and she had a nice blanket over herself as well. She was in the chapel where they do services, at the front, as if it was a funeral. They had soft piano music playing, and the lights were dimmed. It was all set up like this when I arrived. It was very tasteful - my grandma was in the nightgown she passed in and she looked so beautiful. I sat with her for about 30 minutes and told her all the things I wanted to tell her before she passed. The man working there - it wasn't Mark, as he was out of town - was so incredibly kind. He said he was a battalion chief in the county and was just a genuinely nice person who you can tell truly cared. He handed me tissues as I cried with my grandma and he and my uncle and grandpa chatted just outside the room. I felt I had privacy, even though they could see into the room, and that I could talk to my grandma and hug her without any judgement. Now, I've never been to a funeral home in my life. I don't know if this is standard. But I was blown away by the professionalism and kindness of the man working there and the business itself. I would highly recommend having your loved ones taken here after death, because they are well taken care of.

Finally after 3 family members started leaving voice mails every day, Mom's cremains were delivered. Now we are wondering when the obituary is going to be published in the newspaper and receive the jewelry we ordered. It has been a month now and of course we can't get a phone call or an email back. We used to recommend Marks to every one we knew, now we would say it's a hard pass. It's unfortunate, it used to be a great local business.
