AlthoughI live over fifty blocks north, I decided to visit Three Lives & Company on West 10th Street and i immediately fell in love with their beautifully curated selection of books. They have an inviting children's section and an impressive areay of travel books. And while they don't have the largest selection of every novel rver written, they do hsve n excellent fiction section with my favorite authors. And they also have all the newest best sellers. Three Lives & Company is reminiscent of the wonderful small bookstores that used to exist in Manhattan but were mostly put out of business by the huge booksellers and they obliterated by the Internet. Fortunately, a few booksellers have not only survived but thrived by offering readers and browsers a chsrming and inviting bookstore that actually makes customers like myself, feel good about paying full price for the luxury of being a customer of Three Lives & Company.

'Gift is Love' We were rushing, they were closing soon & traffic was a mess with construction so we parked by the Ferry and walked. Not easy. But worth it. She had a wonderful experience. The shopkeepers were wonderful, the ink personalized ornaments were perfect, and we were even cross sold a really nice item, which I appreciated as it's how you run a business. They were crowded, as they often are, and I'm I big guy trying not to knock things over, so I stood aside and let my daughter handle the transaction. We also both agreed it was great not giving more money to Jeff Bezos. Shopping local can be a good experience. It was that night. She'll always remember her trip to buy gifts for her friends.

The place is not really that big however he could have stayed in there for hours if I let him. The staff that were there gave us space to explore the place and asked if we needed help finding anything. Then they started having a conversation with my boyfriend about a record that was playing in the store. I ended up purchasing for pins for myself and he got some records. They have $5 bins and some exclusive records available. I say check them out & see what you can grab... The manager also told us about a show that he had and we actually tuned in to hear and his taste in music is great! The passion for music in this place is really refreshing.

The store itself was a bit smaller rhan expected, but still had a good selection of RSD releases still available, including all the ones I wanted. Staff was very friendly with me and gave me time to peruse their inventory to my liking. The only reason why I'm only giving 4 stars is there is much greater variety in their used vinyl than new vinyl... I don't have anything against buying used, but I prefer to buy new if I can, and their new record selection is a fraction of what they have used. That said, I still was able to find something else recently released that was not a RSD Black Friday exclusive, and at 20 percent off to boot! Will definitely go again to peruse their selection next time I'm in town.
