We finally found First Street Welding on Monday and they had everything we needed as well as welding we needed in a couple of hours. Wow... We were so thankful we found them and were on the road the next day to Ohio. They could of taken advantage of us since we were out of towners but never felt that way at all. Actually they our whole situation as a priority and did the work that same day in order to get us back on the road again. Thank you so much First Street Welding. I called to reserve a log splitter and specifically asked, more than once, when the 24 hour rental window started. The guy told me that it was from when I picked it up and went for 24 hours. So on Friday, we didn't rush to get it. When my husband got there at 11, they informed him it had to be back by open the next morning. If we had been told that, we would have picked it up at opening time. I called them to ask them to extend it for the promised 24 hours and they just said, sorry, they had booked it for Saturday and it had to be back. I told them what I had been promised numerous times over the phone, and the guy on the phone even confirmed that I had been told that, but, no, it had to be back by open the next morning. I asked what they were going to do to make it right and they said nothing. I asked if they would instead just charge us for a 4 hour rental and he said, sure, if we had it back in 4 hours! They are more interested in the extra few bucks for a 24 hour rental than in taking care of customers.
