It feels like I'm home to be watching TV and pause to fix a snack in the kitchen. Sink and counter are outside the bathroom in a dressing area with a large closet for hanging/storing things. Included breakfast buffet had fresh cut fruit salad, other fruit options, two waffle makers, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, cereals, etc. Plenty of space to spread out and lots of clean tables. Decent sized pool, large hot tub, adequate fitness room. This has been a great place to stay.

He tried to do the same with adult women that are my nieces.) Whoever is in charge of hiring they need to look into background and references. And it finally stopped working an hour after guest started to arrive. It got extremely HOT and we had no choice but to open one of the glass doors since the other one couldn't be opened since it was broken. 3) We ran out of soap in ladies bathroom, only one dispenser had soap at the beginning and it was out by the middle of the event. 4) Your FLOORS were DISGUSTING. There is no EXCUSE for so much wrong to happen in an event center. The couple should get a FULL REFUND immediately. The lobby decor and exterior is especially dated, and to be honest I was a little worried. We got a king room on the second floor overlooking the river. It was quite spacious! A nice little patio balcony too. The room was clean, the bathroom was acceptable. There were enough outlets close to the bed. The TV is a bit old, plasma but not HD, but it worked. The bar/lounge and restaurant as also dated, but I really enjoyed being able to get a Jack & Coke a few times during our stay. The bartender was really friendly and helpful. She mentioned a Tuesday burger special, which would come in handy later. As we were figuring out our travel plans we decided to stay an additional night as we planned our way to Grand Teton. All of the hotels in Jackson, WY were around $300+ so we decided it would be more cost effective to come back to Idaho Falls. The walk out the side doors to the river walk was great. It's about a 30 minute walk to downtown. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag, if that is your reason for staying, don't. Scrambled eggs, quick hash browns, mini donuts, peaches and questionable cream. It was definitely just food, but on the house with a room rental. Bacon was advertised but when we went down there wasn't any. Overall, our stay was great. The AC works great and doubles as a white noise machine if you just want to run the fan. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be back.

By the time I finally walked in, I was physically and emotionally drained. I was apologizing for being late and honestly worried about whether I would still have a place to stay. I had called and left messages because everything felt so uncertain. But the moment I arrived, the two people at the front desk made all the difference. They immediately engaged with me, listened, understood what I had been through, and even shared a few stories about other airport experiences. After the stress of the previous days, that kind of welcome meant more than they probably realized. They are always friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. They even had a fun Pajama Friday, which I thought was awesome. Because of that experience, I will absolutely be staying with them each time I am in town. Sometimes it really is the little things that matter most.

From the outside, the Candlewood looked kind of old but the inside was really nice. I guess there was a remodel not too long ago. Our room was in the front of the motel and the snake river is behind it. Didn't know that till we were leaving. Our room was really clean lots of room to spread out. I feel bad we got there late and left early so I didn't get to look around and take pictures of this hotel. But when I left, I did see the free coffee. Thank you.
