There's also a smattering of fan goods and collectibles. Plus, this appears to be the go-to store for local concert tickets. I've been tracking down CDs that were once a big part of my teen and young adult era looking to replace that feeling of listening to a full CD through from beginning to end. I came across a copy of Hoobastank's first album and bought it without much thought. It was $6, honestly a bit high, but I like that album. The staff member helping me was great and went above and beyond. They didn't have much else I was looking for, and records aren't really my thing. Definitely worth a visit for y'all vinyl lovers out there.

Best collection of used hardcover John Irving novels and second best collection of used cliff notes in the state. I wonder if John Irving knows what a tautology is. But three things made it really stand out: 1) The owner Rob and I traded about a half-dozen messages on Facebook about issues I was looking for, and when I showed up two days later, voila, there they were. This guy had no guarantee that I'd be showing up, but he still held onto my books for me. 2) Rob asked me where my LCS was and I told him Duncanville Bookstore (about a 5 hour drive away), and he told me that he knew the owner Andy and that he'd helped Andy out at a past show out of town. Just says a lot about how devoted he is to the comic shop community. 3. He was tossing out a few damaged and coverless books and I asked if I could have them for my wife who is an elementary librarian. Not only did he give me those, but then he grabbed about 30 age-appropriate books from FCBD for me to give to her to use. I feel bad that I can't remember the name of the fellow who was running the register, but he was just as friendly as Rob. I'll certainly do business here again the next time I'm in town.
