I took a 30-minute class, and let me tell you... it absolutely kicked my butt in the best possible way!! The instructor (Sydney) was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There was only one other person in class, so I got plenty of individual attention and coaching. She definitely made sure I was working hard, and I left feeling like I got an amazing workout in just 30 minutes. Challenging, efficient, and totally worth it. If you've been curious about Solidcore, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Just be prepared to work!

We were unable to properly work out, and no effort was made by Savannah to address the situation or even check in with us afterward. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care completely ruined the experience for me. I personally would never recommend booking with Savannah after how poorly this situation was handled. I advise you to stay away from booking her class if you want to enjoy your experience!

I teach fitness classes for a gym & am certified by the national association of science medicine, so feel like I have some perspective.... the anatomical cueing and guidance around the musculature that is working throughout the series, by all the instructors, has been excellent. I've been coming here since they opened this location and have experienced 7-8 instructors, each for a few times... and have been thoroughly pleased ... the owners are lovely and have a lot of pride in how they manage both locations ... COVID UPDATE- Masks are required during workouts (they provide paper ones if you need a more breathable option) and the number of beds have been condensed with ample space to & around ones self. Multiple high end air filtration systems have been placed throughout the studios & fans are consistently on ensuring the air is moving. Truthfully it's felt like an incredibly safe and thoughtful place to work our during this time!! It's been my sanity touch point during the week... hope you'll check it out !!

OVERALL: good workout but it's more like stretch Pilates…read more PROS: - small studio with I believe only 7 reformers = lots of individualized attention - if you're new to Pilates the individualized attention is great and adds to a safe and welcoming environment - clean - friendly staff - socks on pilates (they sell sticky socks) - great 3 class for $79(?) promo CONS - fills up quickly bc there are only 7 reformers - it's not as hard as solidcore. I did both beginner classes here and solidcore and found that while I got a little burn/soreness the day after, District Pilates felt more like a stretch Pilates class. Solidcore was harder and I really felt I was working my entire body - wish they had followed up after my 3 day promo was up Overall a good starting point and would recommend for starting out.

There are 7 reformers (yay small classes) with a chair and a ton of props to use throughout the workout. I've been to a few of the instructors and liked them all. The workout is challenging and you can really feel your legs, arms, glutes working in each posture. The studio has lovely and colorful art work and small seating area at the front. If you are looking for a good reformer workout I highly recommend this studio. Location: Conveniently located in Logan circle with plenty of street parking and many restaurants nearby to try after your class.

She also took the time to learn everyone's names The studio was clean and well maintained. Strong community feeling. Cons: The staff was a little pushy and "in your face" from the moment you walk through the door. Both before and after class. Now I did opt to receive more information later, so that I don't mind. But immediately before and following class it was a bit much. More of a turn off Street parking only, so prepare The lobby can be a bit hectic between classes with very little space to move around Overall the class was fun and a good low impact workout!! Although I would definitely consider joining, the price tag was a little steep in my opinion. But If it's something you love, it's worth it! And again this location seemed to have a good community.

I recently moved to Washington, DC and had been "barre'ing" previously in California. I reached out to immediately set up a membership and the staff were super helpful and even cut me a great deal. Once I began taking classes, the instructors were very friendly and took me into their DC barre community. This studio is quite spacious so there is always enough room, even when the class is at max capacity. Certain barre studios have a "culture" to them, that can seem cliquy and Mean Girl-ish, Cap Hill is not one of those. So do yourself a favor, and go Lift, Tone and Burn that backend with the team at PB Cap Hill (or Dupont!).

Completely different from any other type of workout I've ever done -- including weight lifting, yoga, barre, boot camp-style classes. All of these I have appreciated, but the way that [solidcore] has shaken up my routine and jumpstarted me into finding a new kind of strength and mental fortitude is unmatched. I've been raving to this unexpected addition to my very busy life to so many friends and family members, several of them have tried classes and also gotten memberships. As others have surely said, the classes are hard and will remain so. I think the point is that your mind/body connection will be tested every visit, and the coaches do emphasize that 1) it's difficult, 2) the fact that you are here says something about you, and 3) you can and should shake it out when needed. I've discovered a strange love for slowly focusing on my obliques, which also might be the type of targeted exercise I hate more than any other. I've discovered that when I'm facing difficult things in my daily life, taking a class the morning I am nervous about something will set me up to know that I can take on anything else that comes my way that day. A bit more: the movements are extremely slow, and this workout is low impact, so great for anyone with knee issues. They focus on form and the classes are small enough that you can always ask for extra assists in that regard. You'll be lined up in one long row and you are mostly either looking at yourself in the mirror or focusing on a focal point somewhere below you. Lights are low and music is turned up. It's a whole vibe. Again, NOT my typical type of movement practice but it has been so good for me. And I have gotten stronger physically, but the mind/body grit I've gained is what I really want to emphasize. Thanks to all the coaches and everyone who set me up along the way!
