As a middle aged woman, I've been diligently looking for a skincare routine that helps de-age me and remove some of the wrinkles and damage from years of beautiful San Diego sun. Ashley has incorporated products from Epicutis and Ourself into my total face transformation. I am also getting peel packages, as I can afford them. With the combination of these products, I am as glowing as sunshine on the ocean waves. I'm so very pleased. Ashley goes above and beyond for her clients. I've watched her business grow over the last few years. From comfy chairs for lash fills, to the coziest heated bed for facials (I want one!) and a little bubbly soda and snack for the road, Ashley provides the ultimate elevated self-care ambiance. I tried lash extensions for the first time (after years of lash lifts), and it was a mixed experience. My first set looked crazy! I didn't know what to ask for, and apparently chose wrong based on the consultation. I tried to get used to them, but I was feeling ridiculous and had to go back a few days later to undo them. They were able to figure out how to tone them down, so I tried to stick with them for a few fills. The fills always looked pretty good for 7-9 days or so, but days 10-14 were straggly and unkempt. Even with following their after care to a T and buying their cleaning solution. I also thought it would save me time not having to wear mascara, but I ended up spending way more time brushing them. Also having to lay there for 75 minutes every other week was way more time consuming than a quick 30-45 minute lash lift every 6 weeks. And the beds are quite uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. I ended up getting the extensions removed and going back to lash lifts. I made the appointment in person, and there was no mention of the price. I thought it was going to be $99 like their printed brochure says, but was charged $149 after the service with an explanation that they only offer the higher priced option with keratin add-on and that the brochures (that they still have at their register) are wrong. $50 lesson for me to make sure I confirm pricing before a service. In summary, lash extensions are not for me. And their beds and pricing practices are not for me either.

I came in to have temporary lashes applied for my daughter's wedding in 3 days. Ivonne very kindly told me that if I did my lashes that day, they might not look as good as they need to at that point, especially for up close photographs. She gave me the option to go ahead and take my chances, do something different or come back the next day. After talking it through and understanding her wealth of knowledge, I opted for a lift and tint with some temporary lashes added next day just for the special event. We reached out to schedule an appt. and they were able to get me in for my extensions on the exact day/time that I preferred (which was within 2 days of reaching out to them). They were very accommodating and truly expressed care for my time. I received reminder/confirmation texts which were super helpful. When I arrived; parking was a breeze, the studio was super easy to find, the inside of Lash Mi was inviting (decorated so beautiful, awesome music playing), and I was promptly greeted by my lash stylist (Katie). She asked me some questions regarding my history with lashes, my expectations, and then got right to work. She was so delicate it was actually relaxing (I woke up to myself snoring a few times!!). When she finished and showed me my lashes I WAS BEYOND PLEASED; she exceeded my expectations. To conclude that appt. I scheduled a follow up fill but this time with Catt (the owner), she's fabulous (she offered my daughter a beverage and updated her throughout my appt. while she waited for me). In the past, I've had weird reactions to either eyelash glue or the material itself but had ZERO negative reaction to the work that was done by Katie. I decided that I would like to go a little longer for my fill; so at my appt. with Catt, I expressed my new hopes for my lashes and YET AGAIN my expectations were exceeded.
