Crooks and liars. They didn't finish the job (been waiting on batteries for two years) and they've not disappeared.

Avoid this company at all costs. I had solar panels installed 2 years ago. Victory didn't get a permit issued for the installation. I'm STILL waiting for the permit to be completed. Their electrician maxed out our fuse box and we spent another $8K getting it up to code and strong enough to support the panel system. They've been evasive and unresponsive and completely unprofessional. We're now moving and want to take our panels with us, but they gave us a bunch of lame excuses why that's a bad idea...we still owe thousands of dollars....why would we not take our panels with us? A consumer watchdog group needs to expose this company. read more

Victory Solar and all their personnel just disappeared a few weeks ago. No call, no email, no notification! After leaving numerous messages I finally got a call from Bright solar, who informed me they were taking over service for Victor. Unfortunately, Bright Solar did not follow thru the past 4 weeks on the service I needed to complete my system, and either doesn't respond to messages or continually promises to have someone schedule me. Nothing but a headache. A lot of planning and decisions go into installing a whole home solar system, using a different company than Victory solar should be the easiest. Started with a salesman Ken A who barely knew what a solar panel was, wanted to install a system that was only half capable of the target kw output. Many contract issues that I luckily caught. Never showing up to any appointments we agreed upon, most of which in the beginning I took off work to be at then I just gave up and let them come whenever the hell they wanted giving me no calls or notice. Most of my roof is normal hip construction but my addition is flat and they also wanted to add panels there I don't know why still had plenty of room elsewhere on the hip roof. Being a flat roof they held the panels down with plastic trays tarred to roofing with cinder blocks on top, it looks as bad as it sounds. I argued and finally had them change to a slightly better looking solid block. While installing they damaged that roofing and now leaks water inside the house. Victory is denying any fault, I was told by a manager named Al, I was wrong to accuse the last person on my roof and I should call a roofer. Really. My roof was perfectly fine before you got on it. It has been 2 months from signing and the system is not complete. The electrician has been here 3 times cluttered my home with boxes, one of which is not even being used. He put a crack in one box then glued it. Last time he was here he started the system and left it installing updates but producing kw, without testing shutdowns or completing the install leaves haven't seen him since. I'm going to call the city inspector and local news crew if things don't improve. read more

Beware of this company. This company is now operating as Bright Solar. My system has been malfunctioning, and I've not been able to get in touch with anyone at this company for the last three months to get issues repaired. I've called the business line and get a voicemail that is full, so can't leave a message. I've e-mailed, but the e-mail bounces back. Contacted Victory Solar owner, Mike Busby, no response. I have the other owner, Jordan Ento's, number. I sent him a text message he responded that he would contact me later in the day, never received another response. Called him and the phone went straight to voicemail, but again it's full so you can't leave a message. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Go to the BBB website and look up Victory Solar, now Bright Solar, this is the message on the BBB site: Alert See What BBB Reports On Pattern of Complaint Beginning September 2022 Victory Solar LLC has developed a pattern of complaints and reviews. The patterns include poor customer service and service delivery delays, i.e. consumers experienced delays in solar panels & generator installations, repairs and they experienced poor customer service when attempting to contact for updates. Consumer complaints and reviews stated they are trying to reach the company and their calls and voice mails are going unanswered. One consumer stated she has tried for over 3 weeks but has received no contact from company. Another consumer had a mechanic lien filed against them because the roofer was not paid, and the wrong color shingle was installed. Their HOA has sent violation letters threatening to have their attorney get involved if they violation is not resolved. While the BBB was informed the previous President caused problems prior to his departure in July/August, the current complaints are revolving around poor customer service issues of the new management. The number of complaints also continues to trend up. I'm still paying on the system, and it kills me because it doesn't work. And this means I'm paying for an electric bill on top of the solar system that was supposed to make my energy bill go to 0 dollars. I'm afraid they'll get away without any repercussions. This solar company sold me solar panels not telling me that I can't change my energy provider and find another provider who buys 1 is to 1 excess energy. My monthly average energy bill is $93/mo and they told me if the solar panels gets installed in 2020 my monthly will be $88/mo. So my solar panels were installed in Nov2020 and my first bill with solar loan is $93. The big issue is we found out that we are locked in with Entergy who doesn't pay 1 is to 1 for excess energy we produce and we still have to pay customer charge, energy charge, fuel charge and advance metering charge. We get some credit for the excess energy we produce but those said fees doesn't get offset and we still have to pay like $30 per month with our energy provider plus the $93 per month of loan (for 20yrs). I told them, they should have not sold us the solar panels when they found out that we cannot choose a different energy provider. This company wouldn't care if you don't save money, they just care of selling their products to consumers. read more

Please stay far away from this company!! I wish I would have listened to the other negative reviews when I had the chance. Salesman Ken very unprofessional and makes promises none of which he will keep. When called out for making good on his promises he made tons of excuses has combative attitude or ignores your messages. Save yourself the heartache and trouble and just steer clear from this company. We are STILL waiting for generac to be delivered, still waiting for pipes to be painted, still waiting on reimbursement for solar panel payment that was promised while paying double bill for solar panels which were not switched on for over 6 months and paying electricity bill. I wish we would have never come across this company or given them our business. Go elsewhere and read other negative reviews you will see a similar pattern. read more

Disappointed! Paid $27,000 cash for a system on summer of 2021, Installation went ok with foul up on building permit. Half f panels stopped producing after 15 months due to a burned out junction box caused by poor installation. The use subs for everything is Florida. They do not respond to phone calls and email. I had to find and hire a local solar contractor to repair my system at a cost of $250. No trying to get reimbursed under their warranty but the do not respond. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMAPNY read more

Stay away from this small company. They take your money and run. My brother got his solar panels installed 2 months ago. He had issues with his Solar apps. Tried to called them for 2 weeks and left messages. No return call at all. Seems like they take your money and suddenly disappear from earth. Customer service absolute 0. AWFUL!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Ordered Solar Panels in January 2022, installed in March 2022. Ordered 150% of the amount quoted by Victory Sales guy. PTO obtained April 2022. Told me they'd come back to install the Smart Switch in June, due to supply constraints. System malfunctioned May 2022. Victory unable to send anyone until June 2022; told me it was a BIOS update for the combiner box that wasn't installing due to a WIFI connectivity issue (a bunch of crap, given my router is on the other side of the wall from the combiner box & everything else connects to WIFI just fine). System back up and running, but no smart switch. Calls to Victory Solar start going unanswered. Emails go unanswered. Get email in July that owner has been replaced. Still no callbacks, no email responses. August, still no Smart Switch. September. October. Still nothing despite constant emails/phone calls (almost all with voicemails going unanswered). Victory Solar comes out and installs smart switch on November 9th. Installer partially completed job, then just left. System has not functioned since November 9th. Now, all calls to Victory Solar go unanswered. All emails bounce back as undeliverable. Pre-solar average electric bill $125. Pre-solar Peak electric bill $275. Post-solar average Electric bill $250 + approx $200 in monthly financing costs for the panels. Post-solar Peak Electric bill $400 (+$200 financing costs). Wish I could go back and undo the whole thing. I'd have been better off. Grade: F TERRIBLE!!! read more

they WERE a good company but tanked, please look at most recent reviews and BBB and you'll see. they never gave us the new AC we are paying for with the bundle and won't respond to any emails or calls. we had lien warnings sent to us because they did not pay their contractors. new management is just as bad, no response. stay away and go with a reputable company. read more
