I told her I wanted to compare it with a less expensive mouth guard product I had purchased from another dentist. While she was describing their product she started to speak in a smart aleck tone. I told her that she was not be very professional speaking like that. Her response was telling me that I should just buy the mouth guard from the other dentist and then hung up.

It can be very hard to get an appointment with any dentist in less than six months, but I went in for a cleaning on short notice due to a cancellation. Then, he arranged for his staff to come in a for a few extra hours the following week so he could see my wife and three kids. He and his staff have been great, even helping sort out some weirdness with insurance sending checks to me instead of to them. One review of one star here is not a basis whereby anyone makes a decision. Grace Dental has a five star average with over 600 reviews over on Google. That's the real story, not a review that frankly, I find suspect in its description. There has to be some other thing going on there. (She even says she had been going to Dr. Thomas for years.) I'm adding mine because Grace Dental doesn't deserve the rating shown on Yelp right now. I give them an enthusiastic thumbs up.

When Logan finished the massage, that was the first time in YEARS that I've stood up without pain. When I lifted my leg to put my shoe on, I could actually put my foot on top of the other knee to tie my shoe....pain free!!! However on the last visit on April 23rd for some questions I had about the previous treatment I've made the decision not to continue to use them for any further treatment. I was treated like it was a total inconvenience to Dr Cross that I'd made the appointment for some questions. And she actually met me in the hallway ( and not in a nice way) with a diagnosis ( which had nothing to do with anything). She was rude and reminded me of a child having a tantrum. Not sure what set her off but I will never put myself in that position again. Never seen a doctor act so out of control and angry! Also the "culture" in the office always seems a bit "stressed". Today, as a self pay patient, the doctor and his staff once again treated me with the utmost respect, were willing to consider my financial situation (instead of pushing me into something), and worked with me to get a treatment plan that suited me, my finances, and the future of my teeth. I've had extractions, cleanings, and root canals at Dr Moore's office, and everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable, I just won't go anywhere else. I haven't needed it, but they do provide sedation dentistry for folks who have a dental fear. I would recommend them to anyone. His office is on Roan right next to Boones Creek Pharmacy (another great local business), he's a Tennessee native, and a veteran. Make an appointment.

This is a hard mix to find, especially in the medical profession. I was particularly impressed with my parents' last visit. This practice has taken all of the necessary steps to protect their patients against COVID-19. For example, we waited in the car until it was time for my parents' appointment. Staff came wearing masks to the car and escorted my parents inside and returned my parents at the end of the appointment. Also, staff took the time to explain the results of their exam to me and invited me to use their restroom or bring coffee back to our car while I waited. This was a very nice touch. My parents and Johnson City are very fortunate to have Dr. Moore's practice.

He is very good, he takes care of my teeth so well. He listens to my concerns (if I have any) and addresses them to put my mind at ease. The hygienist are also excellent. The receptionist replied we don't have room for Medicare united health after asking if I had united though my employer. As she tried to word it had I had anything other than Medicare insurance I would get an appointment. So I said so its not the insurance company, you just a problem with people in Medicare. After the total polite conversation it was a PREJUDICE OF OLDER PEOPLE who has worked all there lives to be turned away for not being able-bodied anymore.
