This is jarron. Cool right?

I played here with my really awesome, amazing, stupendous, cool, courageous, outgoing, bespoken, pilot, and overall daredevil friend Jarron. The volleyball fields are the only ones I've played on and they are really good and cool just like my friend jarron. The lights are bright and have a good future just like my boy jarron. The sand isn't too hard and has just enough cushion and softness just like my good pal jarron. Thanks for being you jarron. Have a good one.

Victory Lane is the best park to play slow pitch softball in the valley. 3 different bars near the fields so you can enjoy an ice cold brew while you play. The facilities are well kept. If you have a game break you can go to the bar upstairs for a couple beers and watch the other games going on. The umpires are always super friendly which is nice. Their website shows your schedule and record. If you win the league you get a complementary championship t-shirt! They change the t-shirt every season so it's different if you win every season which is great! Love this place!

I went to my younger cousin's baseball game at night, and the field was pretty nice. Bought the nachos and fried zucchini which were both delicious and extremely filling when my family and I shared them both! Don't know how I feel about the older guys playing drunken baseball within walking distance of the kids' field though. Makes for a not-so-family-friendly environment.

A gorgeous night for a game... Note the inconspicuous beer plug on the dugout.

A weekend with my sons typically means another weekend spent at a ball park watching them play in a tournament. The odds double since I have two sons who play sports. It's a rough life. This weekend was spent at Victory Lane on the north side of Phoenix. Needless to say, this is another familiar stomping ground for my boys. It's a slightly older facility which is showing it's age. Particularly on the secondary fields which feel dusty and worn. The primary fields (# 1, 2 & 3) feature a similar configuration to Big League Dreams with elevated viewing decks and interior seating. It's nicer and the view from the deck makes watching a game more enjoyable. I remember the first visit here some years ago. It was pretty shocking to see all the advertising for alcoholic products on the fences. I'm not a prude and I know that adults have league play here. But it's magnified by all the signs outside, which warn against bringing in alcohol. The lesson being, you will get drunk on our booze. Not yours. This is another "Cash Only" entrance fee facility, but it's not as silly as Big League Dreams. And the prices at the snack bar are very reasonable. Victory Lane is a decent facility, but it's not as nice as the newer, gorgeous Pioneer Community Park in Peoria. Granted this is a private venture and not backed by tax payer dollars. But it's nothing a fresh coat of paint and some new landscaping wouldn't fix.

The new adaptive baseball field for kids with disabilities is AMAZING!!!! It's so cool to have a field where everyone can play.

Mike Krueger, enough with the music from the car shows you allow. What a poor neighbor you are to those who live nearby.

My son enjoys this gym so much that he goes after a full day of school and high school cheer…read morepractice. The coaches are more than just coaches, they are invested in the kids and Melodie is personally involved in making sure the athletes are not only getting proper training but are being treated well. Love this place! It's totally worth the longer drive!

A YEAR AND A HALF LATER AND I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN OFFERED A REFUND OR EVEN AN APOLOGY. THE ONLY…read more"REMEDY" THAT I'VE SEEN IS MELODIE HIDING MY YELP AND FACEBOOK REVIEWS TO GIVE HER BUSINESS A BETTER RATING. Absolutely do not recommend! Loved this place at first, and wanted to support a new family owned business, however I sadly can't say that now. My daughter joined their tiny team in April 2017 which only had 4 kids to begin with (5 are required to compete). I tried tirelessly to get other families to join and messaged 35 people who were interested and was only able to get 1 family to sign up. 1 kid quit, leaving us with 3 left. Then another, a gym employee's son. At this point we only had 2 kids left on team. I was getting concerned there wouldn't be a team, yet I was told multiple times that the kids would still be able to compete (I was lied to). At this point I was charged for choreography (was told after I found out team would most likely be getting cancelled that I can't have the $50 payment back) and made my third uniform payment totaling $291 for the uniform package. The only things I received were shoes (was charged $100 for those when they only cost $55) and a practice set ($75). I was also told by Melodie that she doesn't up-charge (another lie). Fast forward to September 2017 and Melodie, the gym owner, sends an email out stating that she would "do one last push to try and get more kids on the tiny team, and if she wasn't able to get anyone else to sign up by the end of September then team would be cancelled". Practice was cancelled at least twice because "there was only going to be 1 kid at practice". Well I'm still paying monthly tuition so yeah, there's that... (I was offered a makeup tumbling class, but I was still annoyed I drove to practice to find out it was cancelled yet again. I was sent a Facebook message stating practice was cancelled but I didn't see it before I drove to the facility since it was sent out an hour before practice start time.) I was also told I would only get $75 refunded to me for the unreceived competition uniform. I should have been getting $211 refunded, NOT $75. I paid $291 for the uniform package and $50 for choreography, totaling $341. Breakdown: $45 for the shoes difference (because they cost $55, NOT $100), $75 for competition uniform I didn't receive, $25 for bow I didn't receive, $16 for t-shirt I didn't receive, and $50 for choreography (because there won't be a team competing to choreograph). This totals $211. On September 11, 2017 I brought my concerns to Melodie about what would be refunded she got defensive saying I was accusing her of something and threatened to remove my daughter from her tiny team. I told her I wasn't going to be threatened by her and she took it upon herself to remove my daughter, told me I wasn't welcome back to her facility, and I wouldn't be getting a refund at all. Absolutely messed up and NOT how you treat a paying customer!! These owners are liars and they stole my money. I will be pursuing legal action if I don't receive my refund from this facility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!
