Weekend travel baseball warriors know Victory Lanes as a go to spot for baseball tournaments. They have a huge complex and several different baseball fields with a full pay to use mechanical batting cages, small t ball field. They also have sand volleyball courts. This is a full on sports venue complex. Inside they also offer a concession stand and a restaurant that overlooks some of the fields from the second floor called Jerseys. Both serve canned alcohol for those who are of age while Jerseys also has some beer on tap as offerings. The decor in Jerseys is great for the baseball and sports person with a few tvs showing national games of baseball or football. There is typically a gate entrance fee on tournament days of $5/pp and they do not allow outside alcohol to be brought in. This is a popular venue for the valleys baseball travel teams catering to ages 10-14 as well as adult softball or volleyball. read more

If you're not going to allow people to bring in food, charge a gate fee, and search people's bags for food... for the love of God use this money you're milking from everyone to get better food options and update the park. The bathrooms are always nasty, the parking lot awful, and nothing has been updated since the 90's. If you're going to nickel and dime everyone then use the money for the facility. read more

Don't buy their shorts! The sizing chart isn't precise. The waist may fit somewhat fine(a little snug), but they are tight around the hips and are uncomfortable to wear. I ordered 2 pair of shorts(total:$78.00) and when I notified them about this and wanted to return them, they stated I would have to pay for the return. Or they could send me 2 more pairs of shorts, but I would have to pay for shipping costs($15.00 per shorts). We e-mailed back and forth for a few days, but I got nowhere with them. I clearly stated I just wanted a refund and I shouldn't have to pay for the return. They stated that their charts show the size and basically it's my fault they don't fit comfortably. If I ordered a bigger waist size, they MAY fit more comfortably but would be too loose around my waist! If your looking to throw away money....This is the company to purchase shorts from! read more

The volleyball fields are the only ones I've played on and they are really good and cool just like my friend jarron. The lights are bright and have a good future just like my boy jarron. I passionately worked at this establishment for just about a decade. It became my home and my happiness, and I was so blessed to genuinely enjoy my job. Unfortunately, the management is extremely unprofessional and the owners are not easy to communicate with or interested in doing things the right and moral way... I have never been so unfairly mistreated and dismissed, even when there was a direct issue involving me. Leading me to leave the only place I have wholeheartedly adored. I was not respected even slightly, let alone allowed to be heard. This has been incredibly disappointing given I was dedicated, loyal, and truly cared about this park and everyone who worked there and came there as a guest. I am ashamed that I worked for people of this manner for so long. They do not care for their employees, nor guests, and ultimately their business as a whole. This park could be so wonderful and has so much potential. It is a shame it is not cared for and operated as it should be. I am sad and hesitant to admit (because this review is out of my character, but I believe it deserves to be said) they are unbearably unprofessional and uncommunicative. Baseball tournament this weekend with all the fields in use and players/families from multiple states. You have to pay to get in, but they only take cash! Today, 3/11/23, the only women's restroom near fields 4/5/6, was closed. Walked to the "main" building and three of the four stalls were out of TP, and filthy. You can't bring in food or water, and all they really serve is fried food, nothing healthy, and prices are a little steep. There are other parks in the area that are much nicer (and free). This park is old and could use some updates, and other than the restrooms, it's very clean and the staff is very nice. read more

Victory Lane is the best park to play slow pitch softball in the valley. 3 different bars near the fields so you can enjoy an ice cold brew while you play. The facilities are well kept. If you have a game break you can go to the bar upstairs for a couple beers and watch the other games going on. The umpires are always super friendly which is nice. Their website shows your schedule and record. If you win the league you get a complementary championship t-shirt! They change the t-shirt every season so it's different if you win every season which is great! Love this place! read more

A weekend with my sons typically means another weekend spent at a ball park watching them play in a tournament. The odds double since I have two sons who play sports. It's a rough life. This weekend was spent at Victory Lane on the north side of Phoenix. Needless to say, this is another familiar stomping ground for my boys. It's a slightly older facility which is showing it's age. Particularly on the secondary fields which feel dusty and worn. The primary fields (# 1, 2 & 3) feature a similar configuration to Big League Dreams with elevated viewing decks and interior seating. It's nicer and the view from the deck makes watching a game more enjoyable. I remember the first visit here some years ago. It was pretty shocking to see all the advertising for alcoholic products on the fences. I'm not a prude and I know that adults have league play here. But it's magnified by all the signs outside, which warn against bringing in alcohol. The lesson being, you will get drunk on our booze. Not yours. This is another "Cash Only" entrance fee facility, but it's not as silly as Big League Dreams. And the prices at the snack bar are very reasonable. Victory Lane is a decent facility, but it's not as nice as the newer, gorgeous Pioneer Community Park in Peoria. Granted this is a private venture and not backed by tax payer dollars. But it's nothing a fresh coat of paint and some new landscaping wouldn't fix. read more

The facilities weren't bad but... Worst shady business practices ever. Pay 670$ to field a team for a league and then they charge you an extra 2$ per person at the gate! Hope you're ready to pay an extra 200$ over the season they didn't tell you about. Plus an extra 9$per game for the umpire for 72$ over an 8 game season. read more

Victory Lane has become my second home. My son plays travel baseball. He practices at Victory Lane, he plays in a weekly league at VL, and this Labor Day Weekend he played 5 games there in 3 days. Compared to most ballparks Victory Lane is a standout with 6 ball fields, a club house and two snack bars. The 6 ball fields are well kept "softball style" (dirt infields) with nice green grass. Lighting at night is better than a city park. No city run facility that I know of in the Phoenix area compares. Compared to Big League Dreams some 50 miles across town, Victory Lane has only one clubhouse (instead of two) with less seating. This means its harder to hide from the heat in the summer. The big difference though is the lack of pavement at Victory Lane. This is one dusty place. Other little things to note: Good: There's quite a few sand volleyball courts, the clubhouse food is pretty good, the view from the clubhouse is great, there's batting cages. Bad: Everybody pays $2-3 admission to get in even if on a league team, lines at the west snack bar are ridiculously long, the shade has improved over the years but the covers are still less than 100%. This is the best ballpark north and west valley, but it could be better. read more

First time out here for a 13u baseball tournament. Other reviews are a little tough on the place, hence why I'm taking the time to give them a little love. $4 to get in, free if under 12. Ball players and coaches are free as well (hint hint Cactus Yards!) We were on field #4 and in decent shape (300 down the line) There were lots of shady spots, Picnic tables, small bleachers and thatch umbrellas to put your chair under. Concessions were fast, fries, hot dogs and corn dogs all a hit with the little siblings. Cold tall boy $5, bring your koozi Bathrooms are old, but have regular faucets and paper towels. We walked over to fields 1-3 to check it out and passed what looked like nice sand volleyball courts, but no expert there Downstairs concession looks the same, but there is an upstairs bar/restaurant that is air conditioned. Huge outdoor covered patio for game viewing. Didn't hit the bathrooms on this side. You cannot bring in coolers of water for the players, my only complaint, but I'm sure it's because they have water fountains in the dugout. Overall, we look forward to coming back tomorrow, even if it is an hour drive from Chandler. read more

This place gets 5 stars for their 8 sand volleyball courts, which are lit up at night until around 11pm (or later if you're playing with someone who works there). Supposedly you have to pay a $2 entrance fee at the gate sometimes, but there was no one charging admission there tonight. They also have baseball/softball, batting cages (pay per use), and a bar/lounge area. Great place to play some volleyball at night during the hot Arizona summer. read more

This place is Horrible! Its not the fields, or the dirty bathrooms, or even paying to get in, I can handle all of that with no problems. The fact that I can not bring in a small soft side cooler with ice, rags and water in the middle of June for my player who is playing 2-3 games in the middle of June in Arizona, is absolutely unresponsible on their part. Theses kids need to be kept cool and hydrated for them to play. To tell me to have them just use the water fountain, especially ridiculous during this Covid time. There were no employess that ever cleaned any of them during the entire 8 hours we were there. When I expressed concern about this and COVID precautions I was told by the Manager, Jacob, that I should stay at home then. Jacob did not want to hear anything anyone had to say, he was rude and condescending to multiple people. The General Manager was much more pleasant to speak with and actually listened to concerns, and apologized for Jacob although he did not change anything. Also the snack bar to even buy water or Ice, was not open to buy when our game started on Sunday. This is a health issue, not just with covid, but also the heat factor. Sometime these boys don't have time between games to wait in a long line and then 45 min to get food. They need a pickel or fruit because they play another game 15 min later. I understand not bringing in full meals, fast food and alcohol, all of which we spend our money on at this park willingly. No other park we have been to in the past 2 years have ever not let us bring in water and ice. The owners are placing money over their consumers health. Sad read more

Fields & ballpark is 5* but not the Jersey's sports grill upstairs! Baseball tourney weekend, took 55mins to get a cheeseburger, hotdog & the order of fried zucchini was so dark brown it looked burned! Over charged us for an extra XL soda, I said double cheeseburger & they gave us a single. Mgr. lady was so rude & mad at all of us parents who were getting pissed by the 30min wait point - "I just got here at 3, I have no clue what's going on!" That was at 3:25pm...I'm thinking, well, 25mins into your shift, you should kinda know what's going on by now, we're all waiting for our food for 45minutes at this point! Our boys were all starving, they had an hour & 15mins to get back out on the field between games & had to hurry to scarf their food w/10mins to spare & then go out & play w/no time for their food to settle! Total joke, they shouldn't ban you from bringing any food into the park if you can't get a staff to provide food in a timely matter! There wasn't that many of us & no one else ordered after us since they could see how long the wait was! I know good help is hard to find but high school kids can run a McDonald's w/out this many issues!!! A good manager could've had this ship running running smoothly & they could've made a ton of money today! read more

Only come to watch / support friends, good fields from what I can see. Good times, lots of people. Snack bar line is long but the lady on Friday nights is very pleasant. Club house has the best food but ask for fries to be crispy otherwise you'll get soggy heat lamp fries, wings were surprisingly good! Victory Lanes is the premier venue for outdoor volleyball in the valley. They have 8 courts and keep them in good shape. Many of the organizations in the valley run a number of different types of volleyball tournaments here from week to week and they also have an open play draw tournament on Friday nights during the warmer months. It is nice to be able to play, grab a beers, maybe some food and enjoy the nice AZ weather. You will have to pay a small fee to get in the park (normally $2.00) and they have open play most of the time that there is not a tournament going on. The only real problem is it's location in relationship to the valley. It is so far north that it is a long drive for many of the volleyball players, so you don't always have much pick up play from night to night. read more

Some of the best softball fields in the valley. Dirt is compact & smooth, grass is mowed and relatively flat. So nice to see manicured fields! They are also very well lit at night. Seriously annoying though? Paying $2 to get in each time, even though I've already paid to play on my fastpitch team. Our team payed $360 to play an eight week season (came out to ~$40 per person) so I wish they would have included admission price in our team fee...paying to get in every time on top of the team registration fee is adding up quickly. I understand that they probably pay a lot to keep their fields nice & the overall complex is very nice, but I guess I just don't understand why this admission price wasn't included in our registration fee. I would have rather paid more upfront & gotten a free admission pass...would have made the team registration fee feel more valuable. The $2 admission price is a fair price and perfectly suitable for non-participants or those who haven't paid for a league and are looking to join a game that needs players or wants to use the batting cage, etc. Sigh. read more

Facilities: -6 ball fields -8 white sand volleyball courts -batting cages (pay to hit) -children's playground with kickball diamond -Jersey's Sports Bar (located in the center of the complex), plus multiple snack bars Hosts: -adult league softball -adult league beach volleyball -youth beach volleyball -youth baseball -private parties/corporate events Review for the Ball Fields: -nicely cared for: outfield grass is kept trimmed, in-field is raked and level (albeit a bit hard), no sprinkler heads or gopher holes to trip over. -during the summer (especially after a rain) the mosquitoes are out IN FORCE. BRING BUG SPRAY! -dugouts are all equipped with a fan and mister (very nice for hot days/nights) Review for Jersey's Sports Bar: -carries draft beers, including specialties such as Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy -expect upcharge for specialty beers ($4.50 vs $3.50 domestics) -also has typical sports bar eats like fried things and burgers -can only order two beers at a time (in my experience), cannot order for your teammates and bring back -slow service, don't try and dart there between innings Fees: -$2 for players, which is ridiculous as we also pay to play for the league and pay for the umpires -$5 for spectators (I think) -also pay for batting cages Overall, a nice mutlipurpose facility, I look forward to the rest of the season. read more

Great concept but it's time they invest a little into the park. City fields are better than this place--fields need help, spectators need hard hats, bathrooms might as well be a port-a-potty based on the smells in there and the parking lot might as well just be gravel because the asphalt left about 10 years ago. You get charged a gate fee and a tourney fee but that money clearly doesn't mean it gets reinvested to keep the facility nice. Again great concept but there are other places to play that are in much better condition. read more

This place gets a 4.5 Stars! I played on these fields twice for softball tournaments. One was for the ASA softball Worlds that they hosted and the other was most recently the ASA Hispanic Worlds Tournament. Both experiences have been great. Several well kept softball fields, sand volleyball courts, batting cages and bar/lounge area were one can have accessibility to watch the games. It seems to have ample parking lot, so I don't think parking will be a problem. I believe there is an entrance fee of $3.00 dollars. At Big League Dreams they charge $3.00 for entrance fee, but they give you a free drink token as well. I don't recall Victory Lane doing that. Overall great park and environment! Been going here on and off again since it opened in the 90's. More recently for adult softball. Facilities are above average still, but it's missing something. The fields both infield and outfield were top notch. Now they are bumpy and the grass is iffy. It's close to the casa which tilts this from a 2 rating. read more

Poor management. I occasionally go here for the batting cages, overpriced but only place nearby. Today after being sent to office, I was told to put my money in the machine, which proceeded to eat my $5. After being sent back to office to office, the manager Tyler argued with me that there was nothing he could do for me because they don't "do refunds." Last time I checked, you actually have to receive something to do a refund. They stole my money; glad I didn't put in the $20 bill first. I won't be going back. read more

Here for another sand tournament. Went up to order some food and received nothing but rudness from the bartender. Apparently we were standing at the wrong place for ordering at the bar. Instead of politely letting us know, she ignored us. When we waved to get her attention, she said you have to order over here then went on to take an order from people who came in after us. So rude. I won't spend or tip another dime in there again. It stinks like old grease anyway. read more

I really hate writing a bad review, especially for a place like this because I feel like it benefits a lot of people, but I have never been treated more rudely! My friends and I regularly came here to play sand volleyball and it was always such a blast because you could bring out pitchers of beer to drink while playing. We never had any problems; we'd give them our ID and they'd give us a ball. Last night we arrived, expecting to do the same thing we do every time. We went into the main office to get a ball. We could see a lady sitting toward the back at a computer, so we rang the bell. She literally looked at us, got up, and left the room through the back door. (There is a food area behind the door where they serve their food and drinks). We waited about 5-10 minutes, rang the bell a couple times, but no one came back. One of us went around to the food area to let them know we needed help. The same lady came back, looking annoyed. We said we needed a volleyball and she started off right away with an attitude asking us if we'd rented a court. We explained that we'd never had to rent a court and we usually just swapped an ID for a ball with no problem. She explained you had to reserve and rent a court which cost $(I forget how much). I asked if that was only on the weekends (we came on a Friday and usually had come on Thursdays in the past). She rudely said no and that she had been working there the longest and knew all the rules. Not that we were questioning her, I was just confused as to why we never had the issue before. She then said she'd call her manager (not sure why). She got on the phone for about two seconds and then walked out the back door again. We waited for another 10 minutes and no one came back! The lady had never even asked if we wanted to reserve a court or anything, was just absolutely rude. 10 minutes later another guy comes in looking surprised that people were waiting. By this time, there was another lady with her son who just wanted to return their bat they had swapped for their ID. She said she ran into issues of waiting for help multiple times. The guy explained to us the same thing about the courts. My husband was trying to ask how we would go about reserving a court so we could play and he was just as rude, so we left. All we wanted to do was play volleyball and we would have happily paid, knowing that was the rule, but no way will I give my money to a place that treats people with such disrespect. It is not our fault that their staff aren't on the same page about their rules. They definitely need to fire and re-hire people with some manners. read more

We played here yesterday for our annual Chili's softball tournament. The park is perfect for baseball, softball, or volleyball tournaments with a plethora of fields for each sport. They have batting cages that you can use while you wait for your next game. I'm not sure how much these were but I couldn't imagine them being very expensive. The only issue I had was their lack of first aid. I was pretty scraped up from a couple rough slides and I had nothing to cover my injuries. I would highly recommend bringing some first aid equipment if you plan on playing here. Also, the umpires were a little, uh, interesting is a good term. A couple looked (and acted) like drug addicts, one made slightly uncomfortable comments to me at catcher, and another called a couple of the players names. I really like the park in itself though, and I wouldn't mind playing here again. read more

This review is intended for the brunette bartender who is short and on the thicker side. I was there on Sunday for a volleyball tournament and had a seat at the bar. The bartender makes eye contact with me, does not acknowledge me and goes about her day.. I then noticed the sign above that said order here. So I figured that's why she ignored me.. nope I sit there and she still says nothing.. I had to say "excuse me, can I get a menu please".. There was one other patron at the bar so it's not because she was busy.. She then hands me a menu, I didn't see the menus that we already on the bar, I believe the other customer was in my view.. anyhow she doesn't ask me what can I get for you or how can I help you so I say hi can I please have the veggie basket?! Then when she takes my payment.. not one word! No thank u, no have a nice day! So rude. Not only that the look on her face the entire time was I HATE MY JOB, or I HATE MY LIFE.. Something of that sort.. I don't quite understand why someone who acts like this would be in the service industry. She needs to learn to not ignore her customers and have a sense of generosity if she wants to proceed as a bartender.. I decided not to tip her due to her attitude and because she had no sense of attentiveness. Had she been nice she would have a tip! This chick literally said not one word to me! I come here 3 times a week to use the batting cages and I think it's ridiculous that I need to pay the $3 entrance fee on weekends just to hit a few rounds of balls. Attend a lot of youth travel baseball games here. For the $5 entrance fee they could at least keep the restrooms clean - they are nasty! Food is just ok in the upstairs snack area - does take awhile so don't plan to run up and get something quick. In the smaller snack bars, the workers are super slow and unfriendly as if we are bothering them when we show up at the window and interrupt their texting conversations. read more
