I've stayed at the Embassy Suites twice for business purposes. I'm not sure if the entire hotel is…read moresuite-style, but both of the rooms I stayed in were. I loved having extra space to set up my laptop and work area without having to do that in the same room as my bed. Plus, both the living room area and the bedroom have TVs. Both stays, my room was extra quiet and I never experienced any noise or issues. The hotel's neighborhood feels new. A few restaurants and a coffee shop are within walking distance, and the soccer field/recreational complex is right there. Ironically, I could see two free-standing ERs from the hotel; thankfully I didn't have any emergencies and need them. The hotel sells some snack food items, but if you need gas or want fast food, you will have to drive for that. The free included breakfast is highly worth waking up early for and delicious. I recommend the made-to-order omelets. I filled out my omelet form first, then got coffee and fruit and found a seat. By then, my omelet was done. I loved that the breakfast buffet has fountain soda Coke products. The bar area had a fun happy hour with some free snacks, and I got a card for two free drinks each day, likely because my reservation was booked through a loyalty program. I'm not sure if everyone gets this, but if you do, take advantage of it. The hotel bar downstairs also plays whatever sport is in season on TV. If you're here for a conference or meeting (I was), the conference rooms are large and spacious. If you're hosting a conference, several rooms are available and this is probably the best option in town for that. Parking is free and chargers for electric cars are in the lot. I didn't use the fitness room or pool, but they looked nice. The gym has a Peleton bike. If you want to run or walk, I recommend outside because the area is fairly calm, and the park is close by. The only negative I've experienced here is that one of my in-room hair dryers was terrible and barely worked at all. If you're picky about your hair dryer or any sort of shower/bath products, I encourage you to bring your own. So far this is the only Embassy Suites hotel I've stayed in, but I have a great impression of the brand now. I'd stay here again and also seek out Embassy Suites on a personal or business trip.

If I were going to give a down check, it would be the very pricey restaurant that is on the property. Very good, but very pricey. We usually opt to get a delivered pizza! Mary, the bartender for the managers reception and Damian, treat us very personably almost like family. We don't mind spending a couple extra dollars there due to that. And another thing, they have an automatic toaster at the breakfast area that toasts perfectly the first time and every time! I wish all the Embassy Suites would buy that particular electronic toaster! Keep up the great work!

Clean, spacious and modern room, big and comfy bed! Great place to stay if you are heading to…read moreMammoth Cave National Park or Diamond Cave. Free breakfast was so good! They had Chobani strawberry yogurt and this amazing milk... and free wifi! I used their pool, which was nice, although I wish they had a jet pool too. Check in and out was easy. They also helped me mail out a postcard. Bonus points for having bath and body works toiletries! Also, close to a KFC (which I came to Kentucky for...)

I was called the DAY OF the reservation and told they were canceling my reservation because of their policy, in that you must have an address of 75 miles away. This was not a bachelorette party, it was a Mother, 3 daughters, and a Maid of Honor. I explained that, to which Lori said "yeah he ain't going to approve that." I said, ok please use my daughter's address as she lives in Arizona, and she told me I would have to rebook with that address (while I'm driving to the church, on the interstate, to finish decorating the church) 1. Why was I able to book it with my address, and my zip code-the booking system should be coded to not allow that 2. Don't do this the day of the reservation-that's really rude and unprofessional 3. Learn some manners Lori 4. Thanks for adding stress to what was to be a wonderful Night before the wedding for my youngest daughter and her sisters. 5. I will not use IHG in the future. -a pissed off mama bear.

If friendly staff are a must for you, you might consider this hotel. Staff were not overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. If a nice, well thought out, and creatively presented breakfast is a must for you, you will definitely want to look elsewhere. We are here for 3 nights and the breakfast is always the same. You have your choice of up to 4 small waffles or 1 large waffle. You can then choose from Orange or Apple juice. At the next stop, you may choose between fruit loops cereal or Post Raisin Bran. You will then find a basket of red apples, with the store sticker still on them (indicating they have not been washed). For the last stop, the offerings are banana/strawberry or peach flavored yogurts. It's like Ground Hog day, the same offerings day after day. We chose not to utilize housekeeping (we just swapped out our towels), but the same guy running the breakfast is the housekeeper as well. One last thing about the room. There are no drawers, but any place you might put your clothes is open. There is a nice closet with nice looking doors for hanging pieces. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the stay was pleasant.

The bed was WONDERFULLY comfortable. The jacuzzi was such a treat. The jets worked as they should. Our walk-in shower is awesome. Mini fridge/microwave worked flawlessly. The pool was small but just what you needed after a hot day. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience from top to bottom. If we come to cave city again, we'll be staying there! Thanks Lena!
